You did a good job describing Fe. I’m Fe parent so I was able to follow with subjective understanding. Fe is not feelings alone it’s a way of thinking of others and self with a focus on the tribe being better by feeling good about the “us”. Bringing group cohesiveness and understanding through Fe. ESFJ and ENFJ are critical for group or tribe harmony and survival.
This video was very interesting! In your example of Fi or Fe at a movie theatre in which one of them is the only audience member, you mentioned that Fe would probably prefer to leave the movie, while Fi would be perfectly content to remain. I’m curious about how Fe in the auxiliary position would react in the same situation? Or does it depend on their dominant function?
Hello bookish, what a great question! First of all, I'd argue that the functions are influential, not deterministic. It is completely up to the individual whether they would like to stay or leave. The dominant function will only influence how the movie can be perceived. Auxiliary Fe will take that information and judge it through an objective, detached, humanitarian lens and process it through a sort of collective ethic. It asks 'How would others feel about what I am seeing?' Now the tricky part here is that both IxFJ's have sixth slot Fi, and that can be very overwhelming for them because Fi will bring in deep personal emotions and subjective values that critique the objectivity of auxiliary Fe. This conflict results in a push/pull detachment/attachment empathy/sympathy of their judgments and the Fi internally influences them overall, although in conversation they would rather prefer to remain emotionally objective and keep their own personal feelings aside and out of the spotlight- despite being heavily influenced by them. Contrast this with the ExFJ's, they pretty much ignore fifth slot Fi because they desire to be emotionally objective at all costs. It's not that it is better or worse, it's that their dominant feeling function is so strong and is such an integral part of their nature that they don't necessarily need or want to 'hop the fence,' same with Fi and the IxFP's.
Hello 👋 Good video! Only one correction though: ENFJ even though loves harmony and stuffs, loves to ‘rock a boat’ if they perceive a need for it! Just saying! Also massive difference between ESFJ and ENFJ too!! Regardless of Fe! S and N is massive difference!!!
Hi D, I'd agree with that. The two types are very different but I just wanted to make a video showing different ways of understanding Fe since a lot can be learned from the dominant function alone and how the types use it. S and N do make a massive difference, as well as the temperaments. Thanks for the comment!
Ohh My God! My sister is my best friend, and she is Fe dom and it feels like I am getting into her head, so interesting.. I love her so.much, she is just able.to.connect in ways I envy

Enoch Branden why would you do that? If you don't trust her then leave her. Don't break laws to spy on a person that you are suppose to love.

Fe is amazing!!! I love Fe doms!! 😍😍 I`m Fi
Niel DeGrasse Tyson is actually an ENFJ surprisingly
It's been a while since I checked him out, but I do remember the Fe for sure.
I notice you have a video for almost all the functions, but Si seems to be missing. Would also love to see one about Si.
