Julio and his brother are the epitome of how collecting and this community can be. I'm not a kid anymore and probably older than all of you, but I respect the hell out them and hope the best for them truly
@dcbqb19 thank you bro I appreciate that. We try our best to give deals to whoever we sell our stuff to
@1MinuteRetro the appreciation goes all to you and your brother my man! You aren't just making deals for people, you're sparking the inner child of people and inspiring children to DO THE RIGHT THING! You guys get collecting and what it's all about. I hope your guy's approach spreads like COVID(in a positive way) and people learn to share the love. That's what you guys do, you spread love by simply being awesome people. I hope for many great things for you, your family, and friends
Collectors are just as bad as gamestop, if not worse with the markups 😂
Scott traded a stolen controller that was actually meant to be won by customers and through fencing the two guys in this video got it?
i still remember cast molding that exact controller for him
like 8 months ago. glad it went to a good home
Lmaoo
You do great work
How much u charge him? I want 1 too
So it was fake? Lol
@@tylerparker3024Of course it was, most easily faked item ever 🤌🤣
Julio and his brother are legit. giving back to the community that made them is so wholesome and that he kept saying that shows how grateful he is
Julio and his bro just do it for the love of the GAME ❤
@Esc_the_Void yeah we do bro
N64 was the only console I ever owned because we were really poor growing up. My mom somehow pulled off getting one the night they were released and that's what we got for Christmas that morning. 2 of my brothers and my dad have died since than. Still one of my favorite memories from all time.
Salute to the fallen. W moms. W story. Hope you’re well brother
@bluerobles I appreciate that. Same to you
I hope you try and have a nice Christmas this year.
@mikedee3182 dude, thanks you to... spending it in NYC. No gifts to exchange but get to hang out with one of my favorite people in this entire world. Wishing you the same fam ❤️
Them dying is your favorite memory???
Oh I think I read that wrong....
You did the seller really dirty with that thumbnail
LMAO 🤣
FR poor guy just make it a mystery lmao 🤣
Seems like all this guy does is do people dirty
Man what a positive video showing how chill a lot of this community is. Julio and his bro are legends for being so generous, and Twysted as well for giving a deal on that controller to someone who's a real collector.
My thoughts exactly. His fans are truly awesome genuine people 👏 ❤️
Me and my brother Julio usually hook people up with deals 💯
LEGEND
@@1MinuteRetro don't dare feel like you need to justify yourselves, good on you guys!
You guys are awesome 🙏🏼 good people do exist
@toiji4136 thank you bro
I get that but I think it would have been better if you gave the free stuff to people that actually had to pay to get into the convention and that don't have the money to spend $5k on a controller.
6k bro he dropped 4k on it. You TH-cam famous man. You got the money
He’s got the money because he takes advantage of people like this.
@@majorschemer4872 BINGO. the people that SHOULD be able to pay and SHOULD PAY, never seem to pay....
He always want discounts but never give discounts when he sells online and high shipping smh so cheap
Terrible an then sell it for 10k+
See…dreams come true at So Cal Gaming Expo ❤
All I can say is as crazy as the deal was with Julio & his brother, that controller - *chef's kiss* Like I'm honestly speechless with this video to truly describe it. Congrats dude. Have a wonderful day.
@neilarnold5506 me and my brother always try to give out good deals whenever we can.
I’ve been painstakingly making identical replicas of these for the last couple years! These are amazing looking controllers!
Do you sell any
Congrats, Chase. You can tell it means a lot to your collection, and that's what collecting is all about.
Honestly, truly legendary, kind, generous, loving collectors. I hope the people in this video that spread the love get everything they possibly could want in life. Theyre genuine people that do it because they love to do it and nothing else
@dwurst89 me and my brother do love doing this and we hope you guys also get a chance to do this and get some good deals out there.
13:29 dude got high af and had a zen moment of clarity, lol
honestly he let it go way too cheap.. deff a friend price
@ guaranteed once he sobered up, he will be devastated with what he did, haha
@@Tophatjones358not really. Sometime if it’s something that is really really rare. Sometime it is best to let it go to the person that will appreciate
*You did it, bro!! You completed your controller collection. What an awesome feeling that must be.* 😊
*It's such a gorgeous controller, too.*
The appreciation for this piece is wholesome. They appreciate it so much while he had it hidden in a drawer for 30 years. I love it
Its crazy that people will drop prices, im sure he gets great deals because people know of him but dude cant cough up an extra 1k to someone whos been a supporter for over 10 years…. Maybe its just me but first time coming across and not a fan..
I'm there with you cool video but dude come on ppl are just crazy no love back its nuts alll that for freeeee and like for nothing deff jam sells for like 200$+ but hey it is what it is
Crazy to think Metal Jesus led me down the retro Rick, pixel game squad, catrp, Phoenix resale rabbit hole.
Hey thanks!!! ❤
Same tbh
lol
Same basically lol
Wow same here
"I went to my car, sat down, vaped a little bit"
Exactly what I imagine everyone with that beard doing haha
Congrats to your controller collection journey. Feels great to complete a set
You know how rare it was. Could have helped a friend who helped you secure a super rare controller. Took advantage of his kindness by making him wait even when he threw you a fantastic offer. Say what you want but that was just a little scummy..
This dude is scum. Totally ruining the hobby
Agreed
in the words of mike and frank, the time to buy it is when you see it
5-10k controller in a $3 3d printed box. Congrats guys I'll need to come out and see it in person!
Yeah, kinda pushes the idea of how stupid it was to pay so much for an n64 controller 😂😂❤
@@mcgritty8842 im not trying to hate on the guy but for real i dont get it. Its the same as these guys who have a $100,000 car sitting in the driveway year round instead of a garage lol.
that's true, but the printer doesn't cost 3 dollars and the feeling of having a custom made frame for your holy grail is a personal thing I guess
this is one of those videos that brings back the passion for collecting... it's on Chase face the happyness for completing this run...
8:07 👈🏼😂 Buyer: I’ll offer you $350
Seller: Are you crazy? I won’t sell it to you if you don’t pay me just $300. 🤣
I cant wait for this TH-camr to give all these things away FOR FREE to the viewers like this owner asked him to do...lol!!!
"Remember how we thought this was all the controllers?" That's a real friend right there xD
Hey i think i know that guy maybe 😂
hmm i think you might
Maybe 😅
Its the guy!!
That's awesome of you to give him a good price on that controller! I'm with you that I love that the controller is going to a true collector and not someone looking to resell it right away.
Hey that's the guy...
5 minutes in, guy walked behind dude and immediately moved faster to get out of frame .
Cool dude .
4:48 , his asking price was actually 10k he said he would give it to you for 6k after you offered hik 5k , . Just a correction
And one sold for 6900. He kinda wanted to meet in the middle at 6k.
at 13:25 he says he sells it to him at $5K
“I went to my car sat down and vaped a little bit” the exact words I would expect before a deal like this
Lmao @@D9Beats
Cowbell him to 5k smh so u can se it for 10k
Expensive Venture to collect all North American controllers including the Unicorns. I'm just stoked that there's still pristine examples out there. Thanks for preserving our era brother.
I remember spending WEEKS trying to win a Golden N64 Controller from Nintendo Power magazine. They had some contest for Mario Kart, I believe you had to send in your fastest lap times on Mario Raceway, and if I recall correctly, my mom wouldn't develop the photo of my TV screen in time for me to enter. In my memory it was identical to this one, but I'm guessing it was more akin to the gold one they ended up releasing at Toys R Us years later. What an awesome find! Collecting games is something well out of my price point, but it's just so cool to see these awesome "relics" of my childhood in pristine condition. Thanks for sharing.
I won one of the controllers...inwas pissed after they did that at toysrus after
Seeing those N64 boxes lined up on the that shelf took me back to a moment in my childhood hood. I can’t pinpoint the exact moment. But the feeling of seeing them gave me the feeling I got when my parent took me to get mine. And I still have mine till this day
One of the best videos you guys have put out. I pretty much smiled from start to finish.
So much nostalgia in one video! Last i checked years ago even a used mario 64 without the box was 50-70$ and he gave it to you ror free! Along with zelda and all that other free stuff!? What a great dude!
OMG, I'd give anything for that perfect dark. I don't even care about the condition. I absolutely love that game
There are 2 spectrums on youtube about gamehunters: The Game Chasers always looking for a good deal, and then this one, where they get everything mint and prinstine and "almost" complete paying holy grail prices. Love it!
Congratulations Chase, thanks for sharing your journey with us!!!!
It's sort of like passing the torch in a way. These people know you will take good care of this stuff and make sure it gets to a good place.
You're out here preserving gaming history. :)
Congratulations on acquiring that controller, it is very rare. Cool of Twisted to help you out! I am a little jealous though.
I still have my Nintendo Power 100 Gold N64 controller. I remember when the NP100 issue was mailed out and the insert was in the magazine. But my issue got lost so by the time I got it, the offer had technically expired. I remember calling/writing them explaining I never got my issue on time and they allowed me to still buy one.
He had my favorite the suffering. Plus silent hill 1,2 and 3. Who i have to diddy to get a deal with that.
I just bought a piece to complet my Dragon ball collection. I jad the exact same feeling of absolute joy getting it. So awesome to see. Congrats on the grail!!!
"and I don't know what to do"
you do what makes you happy !
These video shows you that your either a blessing or hopefully you will be a blessing to someone.
Insane. I always see Twisted in pixel videos and wondered who he is, cool to get a back story about buddy haha
LMAO his face at the end when he hears “there’s a few more actually”
Rad video and I liked the woman complimenting his shirt
This was insanely entertaining to watch
Someone give this man some time alone to sit with his new controller to smile and appreciate the journey.
Hahaha Julio is awesome! During that deal I actually went him and said Hi to y’all
so many late nights with the homies as a kid playing star fox on n64.. the golden days of sleep overs
$6000 for a controller that you would never see again plus $6000 for a controller that you would never really use
not alot if you are rich.
he paid 5k for it... its prob worth 8k
Its a 6000 thats not your money ❤
@@mxrkone3938 i will take a ferrari 350 gt over that controler😆
@SuperAgentman007 respectable position but keep in mind the Dollar is a devaluing currency. it is basically backed by faith, no gold standard anymore. $6000 could lose its value in inflation over night, and this control won't. If you got $6000 to burn, then it's good. but if you're on a budget stay away.
I can imagine what went through twysteds head. At the end of the day finding someone that’ll pay 5k that you know for a fact won’t sell it it’s worth a lot. Also 5k is a lot more than 0 dollars missing on a sale like that can haunt you. Specially on items that are hard to comp. I would’ve done the same thing honestly
So happy to see you hit a collection grail, I hope one day I’ll get there too and get to my sealed team rocket booster box collection goal 😁
Julio, seems like a very cool dude. Super considerate
The black + gold combo looks really good too
Very nice! One of the 3 I need left for a full worldwide set. Super awesome!
Oh wow! I'm from Michigan to 😅Congrats on the rare N64 controller pick up 😉👍
I think it’s more than 25. I was at that E3 walking the floor all 3 days. Me and my friends were there and they were giving one out every 10 to 15 minutes. It’s possible they ran out but they ran that line for all 3 days.
Shhhh, don't break the 10k spell 😂
There was more than those from E3 97. I won one in a competition 2001 in europe.
Honestly, as a lifelong collector of gaming stuff, i would say this controller is probably more worth like $8k-10k. So that was a great deal what he was asking for and it does matter if things go to people who will take care of them. ❤
"6,000 is a lot for a controller " yes chase yes it is
yea but ig it could be worse tbh
@PeanutButterBean for sure
he is very rich so its not alot.
He got it for 5,000 not 6 right?
Finally he can play the rotation minigames of Mario Party as intended ;D
That was really a good deed. Very heartfelt and great decision couldn't of done any better :)
The chase is always more cerebral and emotional than actual ownership imo.
Kind of like a hot girl
The chase is better than the catch ! ( scooter - how much is the fish )
Super awesome deals. Such cool people and the interactions you had with them all 🤘🏼congrats on the N64 controller achievement.
That n64 box of games was an absolute grail! ❤
Lets go. Way to go Scott!
The N64 controller, Which was a almost literal copy of the 3DO M2 controller that is even more rare than that N64 Star Fox Championship controller as there is only two in existence. But that find was Epic... So if you want to get the controller the N64 controller was based off of, you will need to find one of those 3DO M2 controllers.
Just finished ocarina of time, now playing Majora's mask. Reliving my 90s teen life lol
Damn, he was too honest and jumped the gun. Would have started above 6 if that guy didn't say 6 first lol
9:41 my jaw dropped. I had that exact same case... With those exact same games 20 years ago!!!!
This just came up on my suggestion and I don’t know you or this channel or much about n64 but I enjoyed this video very much man much love ❤
"Demo disc" just sent me down a memory path i forgot i had...man i used to love playin demo versions of games on ps1
Fantastic video Really enjoyed watching this... Great job fellas.
Julio & his brother made you enough to bye that controller 👍🤣💯
I won that millennium 2000 controller entering that Nintendo power contest! I was so pumped when it came in the mail!
Shout outs Julio and his bro!
So cool that he worked at bandai! Db is my favorite and n64 was my childhood! Even had one of those tiny tvs with the vcr built in
ive never seen your vids before, but this was such a nice video, makes me want to take collecting games seriously, i just have no idea where to start, or where to put my money when it comes to stuff like that
Just remember, you are sitting the market price. Don't be afraid to buy something if you're the only one, holding one of the only ones.
Wow! Never knew about that controller and the Donkey Kong one. I haven't started it yet but I will in 2025 to go and start to have a complete N64 collection with every game Complete in Box. I want every single controller including that one of course. I will have to start a TH-cam channel to document my journey because when I find that controller, I will show myself playing Star Fox with it. I know people will freak out but you know what. We live such a short time here on Earth and we don't know what happens on the other side or what Heaven will be like. So why not enjoy and play with your collection. It will make me happier to play with it rather than staring at it in a glass case. Hey, Congratulations on it. Your N64 collection looks incredible.
10:29 this guy is a real one
bro that was a huge deal just like when Billy and Jay were negotiating 🎉
When you get so many super fans that people literally knock themselves down hundreds if not thousands to do a deal with you lol.
You won’t see it again. Cool controller. That’s history
The last few seconds are the best lol
I had no idea when I used my dk64 banana controller as my main controller as a teenager that it would eventually be such a collectors item
Not even a gamer anymore but this video was awesome. Avgn is my go 2
Thank you Julio for giving Chase enough merchandise to trade for the controller. 🎉
@anthonycruz5569 we have to hook chase up because without his videos we wouldn't be here
Bro, you're in Michigan!? I'm so honored to share the same air!
$6k is a nice little vacation for my family of 5... I could never imagine a controller for a discontinued gaming console being worth so much to someone... but here we are.
Grats on the controller Chase
Amazing with your collection. Love watching your videos. Keep up the awesome content.
Controllers are the most important link to past consoles❤
You found some great stuff my friend and they are beautiful and I love your Nintendo collection.
The end is gold 😂
Holy shit...that Chrono Trigger and Earthbound...Facts, two of the Greatest rpgs ever
I just have to say, that handsome gentleman in the thumbnail is wearing an incredible shirt.
i mean thanks for the compliment but lets be honest im U G L Y i aint got no alibi
That's fantastic. Congrats, Chase.
That’s crazy the DK controller is worth that much. I had one as a kid.
This video alone paid for that gem👍🤙🤘
