For rushing it, and never doing it before. You did great. Some notes for others that may wish to make their own man caves though. You can get "invisible hinges", so they won't show around the drawers. You can also line the hole with carpet or something to make it a little easier to get into than trying to fight away the blanket. It's also much easier to keep all those drawers together if you use a temporary frame and then place them down with a pre-cut piece of wood on the back.
I like how Hangtime/Micheal doesn’t fake his videos, his wife knew but at least the others didn’t and he admitted it. Instead of playing it off. This is why I love this guy

We never really know what we are doing, all the way up until they learn to fly on their own and leave the nest (even then, they come back with questions about adulthood that these handy man regiments will only better prepare you for), the most important things you can do is be present, be earnest, and do your best everyday in helping them build a foundation that will set them up for success in love and in life. I have no doubt you two will make incredible parents!
