Whilst Blue Watch are attending a shout, a drunk driver pulls out in front of their appliance (a Dennis F-Series), causing it to hit the car and roll over.

Bloody loved Sean Blowers in London's Burning, was devastated when Hallam died. Love him in this scene when he confronts the driver!
IT WAS PEARCES FAULT HE DIDNT GRAB JOHN
I was heartbroken
I'm 25 and I miss them old cars. Even when I was a kid people had normal sized cars for our little roads now everyone has to drive a 4x4 which is ridiculous especially on little country roads.
Do any car companies still make these old cars?
“That Spare Pumps A Heap!” Well it certainly is now Vaseline 😂
Outstanding series, dont make them this good anymore :(
Remember this special episode like it was yesterday, yet I was just a kid. There were promotional trailers for it in the lead up to Christmas in 1988 and will never forget that spectacular crash. How can it be so long ago?
Thanks for uploading !! Searching for this for a long time !
What a waste of a good 77 Dennis escape, as seen before the crash faster than most fire engines of britain today, even though its lost 50kgs of escape ladder
Charlzey1998 wasn't it a 78 being an s reg
Nah background checked the reg number, came up as an 77 f series
Fireman Sam
HYEKAG?
@@Charlzey1998 Dennis F131 Pump Escape is what I'm getting off the London's Burning Wiki
Changed flashing lights after the crash 😂
The old proper London siren ahhh brings back memory's loved londons burning to
Yes, I don’t know why we switched to the American style ones. Much preferred our two note version.
You still find them in occasional use in Dublin
Amazing how they all seemed to walk out unharmed
Yeah like Bruce Willis in Unbreakable.
They were incredibly lucky
- amazing how the beacons change shape 😆
This show really didn't spare on the practical effects, did they? Brilliant.
This is when British TV was at it's best, much better than the shit that's on now.
Couldn't agree more.
This is worse than EastEnders. What shit acting.
MrDaveyboy125 Nah I don't think so the only thing worst than EastEnders is Hollyoaks.
@@MrDaveyboy125 do not say the s** word
MrDaveyboy125 u good mate?
Good stunt and slow camera of the windscreen shatter
Gabe Connelly and Frank Henson in the stunt fire engine.
I still watch this in 2018
That windshield camerashot was nice
0:36 notice the rear quarter panel on the escort is already damaged before the crash.
George is so accident-prone. In other episodes he burns down a burger van and drops a piano. How he was a taxi driver in the early days I'll never know.
Yeah, but George was such a badass and quietly funny too. One of London's Burning's greatest characters!
Not his finest moments.
Fireman Sam in real life
That's ironic. You'd hope that firefighters would be able to rescue themselves.. haha
"Where's your eyebrows" makes me laugh. Xx
Beautiful F131!
Agreed!
Anyone noticed George’s Cap went flying through the windscreen and landed in the shattered glass?
George and Hallam were gorgeous. Xx
0:23 Jodie’s laugh
John:(sniffs alcohol) You Bastard!
"T'riffic, George, T'riffic."
1:42 is that Del Boy in the background?
Good drama, but would you not have also mentioned when advising control that you coud not procede, that your vehicle was blocking a road that the replacement appliance might need to use???
The radio would have said: "Jupiter 999 from WP, over" and George would have said: "We'll call Jupiter 999 over?"
Wow, I was 6, loved watching this secretly with my sister.
Baker 1982 I started watching this at 7 years old, never secretly as I would watch it with my mum, dad and brother. It's so nostalgic to watch now at 31 years old.
Hammy acting at it's best.
I’m sure each of them were wearing body padding underneath the tunics
in the 10th series they got rid of the dennis appliances and replaced them with volvo appliances
U mean the old army fire engines that are used in strikes
Can you do London burning series 2 episode 5
can you do London's burning series 3 episode 3
fantastic clip, is this an original or have you added the music and text?
Thanks, I added the theme music at the very beginning, as well as all of the text, but all the other music was original.
SO115 Productions. Fantastic how you've implemented the original text over the top! great video
Thanks!
Dont know how between the crash and them getting out the appliance had totally different beacons fitted😆Different fire engine
Aiyoyo they should be more careful when driving next time, especially emergency vehicles
This is fireman sam's vehicle Jupiter 999
This looks like a commercial or some PSA
see how they used an old fire truck
The firetruck is so fragile
Its so bjuti The fire truc
popular i think
Can you do London burning series 1 episode 1
Likewise.
0:45 I got soo upset 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
That siren sounds like the one in fireman Sam 😆
I'm always baffled when people say this of course it is? It's the same country and era
@@supertrinigamer LOL, was thinking the same. All fire engine sirens in the UK sounded like that back then. Ambulances were similar too. Emergency services sirens still sound similar to this in countries like Germany to this day.
how can there be battery acid during a car crash?
That's clearly oil .-.
@@florjanbrudar692 its battaty acid because the battary is put on the bottom of the appliance and it was penatrated
@@Zackislivid Well thanks for telling me 1 year later
@@florjanbrudar692 tehe your welcome
Is it me or does George look like Shane Ramsey from Neighbours? Xx
This would not be acceptable now as fire engines like this are now heritage vehicles.
Drunk drivers don't care if these fire engines are heritage or not, even the old London routemasters buses Mark 1 got into crashes before they were replaced by the Mark 2 version don't make them any special.
This is pure evil
I dont kenn this not in germany
Why would it be in Germany? That's in Britain!
02:01 is that delboy.
Looks like it
driving and alcohol dont mix.
oh shit
If I was a fire fighter then I'd be jumping out of the fire engine
And end up being either seriously hurt, having your legs crushed by the appliance or being crushed by the appliance. If you are in a situation like that, do NOT attempt to leave the cab, just sit tight and hold on.
That's depend on which side the engine tipping, Stop being a wimp and sit tight.
We have no respect for drunk drivers
😧😩
0:36 The impact.
I love Sean blowers
Me too!
And me! By his performances as John Hallam, I'm impressed!
Hallam and George disgusting way to behave on duty
Drunk driver
Oh my god! That drunken older man who was driving that blue car should be jailed/banned from driving - for causing the fire brigade to crash & nearly killing all firefighters.
Sub Officer John Hallam Calls a Blue Ford Escort Car driver a B*st*rd 1:54
Fireman Sam rea life
Indeed, George resembles Elvis Cridlington
I reckon Vaseline could be Fireman Sam, Sicknote could be Trevor Evans and Josie could be Penny Morris
Did my dad just crashed
The uniform liekes bei fireman Sam and the fire truck bei Jupiter
George reminds me of Elvis
I think the stranger of the car is at most fault vote for the crash
he is
HOW RUDE OF THE FIREFIGHTER THEY BEEN MEAN TO THAT PERSON!!!!!
How would you react when you are in a situation where the crew of that appliance was? I'm sure you would be upset and angry because of the driver, who was perhaps having a hangover, drove right into the way of a pump, thus making a driver of the fire engine to swerve and ultimately tip over.
Drink driving is a crime!
What would you want these fire people to say to the drunken man, there there you naughty boy. 😂
Even tho this was late 80s problem is up to this day nothing changes u still get drunken idiots who stupidly get people killed in car accidents instead of them selves selfish wankers to all drunken losers!!!
