Cole, I don't know if you know this, but A LOT of your viewers love this time of season for you guys. Wrapping up harvest, fencing, weening, and calving videos are my favorite videos and probably a lot of other viewers favorites as well. So if you ever worried about being repetitive or 'boring', don't. The next 4-5 months is your best season, in my humble opinion. Plus, members and every-video-viewers watch you for the silliness and good time you guys have anyways. While you're informative, you are our new 'sit-coms'. We watch to see what tomfoolery you get yourselves into each video.
Best channel on TH-cam in my opinion. These two men have a wonderful relationship; Brian is the father and obviously in charge, but he treat Cole like the adult he is. They have a partnership in the ranch. And Brian is not afraid to show some affection to his son; that hug speaks volumes. We want to hear you talk Cole, you have so much to say. You teach us a lot, and you can be funny as hell. Keep it up; I love your videos.
I liked your idea so much about closing off old roads to pasture, I decided to try it too. FUN FACT: Apparently, the highway patrol gets sensitive when you put high tensile across a 4 lane interstate. Oh well... back to wearing the ankle monitor again.
Love seeing that hug after getting that bull in the trailer. I remember hugs like that with my dad whenever we accomplished something difficult or just stupid lol. Talk away Cole - it's what we're here for. 😎
I have to tell you it’s amazing how much your dad loves his classic rock & remembers band members & great tunes. I guess Iam partial because we’re the same age and both have a love for farming & good music. No matter what listen to pops you’re never going to forget his humor & knowledge of farming.👍👍✌🏻✌🏻
My sisters husband bought a young Angus bull, my sister and her young boys babied that bull and and even after maturing, he was as tame as a lazy cat. He liked to run, he even liked playing cutting horse, separating the calves from the mamas. He got to be famous around home and his services were well paid for. He really helped pay for additions on the barn and shop. Angus can be kinda tame, but the Holsteins were like giant wild aurochs, you wouldn't want to ride four wheelers around them... LOL You guys have a professional cattle operation, great work!
Cole, when you said it wasn’t going well, that the whole herd was coming, I snorted coffee in my nose- I had a vivid picture of Brian when a whole herd of cattle appeared and began loading in the trailer! 😂
I sure as heck enjoyed this video. Love the way you two work together!! Fantastic team there. I would be proud to work with either one of you, moreso with BOTH!! Nice to come along here and not even get my hands cold!! (they are doing that worse and worse, the older they get) Thanks for bringing me along!!
@@briansonne814 better than disco!! I would guess your father didn’t allow long hair but that didn’t stop you from listening to AC/DC and blasting Kiss. At least you were smart enough to find farming instead of the drugs.

A lot of good comments and funny ones too! The bull was just wanting to stay with his girls, he sure did look good too. Thanks for the great video, have a wonderful week!
Here's one for you Brian, I sat in the 3rd row Anaheim Convention Center for Zeppelin and Tull in their first trip to America. I think I was 16, like 1969
Hell yeah man! Tull could rock a flute. I think he really broke new ground showing how other instruments could be used as main/lead instruments in rock music instead of just the guitar. Aqualung, Locomotive Breath, Bungle in the Jungle... some great songs. Brian tight man, Brian tight. :)
Cole looks like you and your Dad had a good productive day. Love your videos always something different going on. I like how you take care of your critters, they seem very healthy and energetic. Keep the action coming. I'll definitely look you up at the next one. You all stay safe!!
Grew up up on a farm. Had keep around 85 head of Angus. Grew corn, beld hey took it to the mill at fall to make sweet feed. I'm your pops age now. Sold farm years ago. Like the show bud
Brian may be old, but he ain't slow. Did you see how fast he moved out of the way of that fence post driver on the bobcat when it was looking like it was about to tip over!
Looks like your bull round up was more successful than ours was! We chased one around for a couple hours trying everything and so far he has alluded capture. Maybe we try the 30-30 next, lol.
Cole, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Brought back lots of memories Chasin bulls. Back in the day, before four wheelers were as big as they are now I had a three wheeler. I chased a bull a half mile and he wanted to keep going so I got in front of him and he did not like that. He stuck his head underneath the front tire and flipped the three wheeler over with me on it. After that, caution was a little bit more prescribed but I still wrangled up me some cattle. Keep up the good work.
I love watching your videos. I’ve learned so much about farming life. Also I love the progress your dentist is made with your teeth. I saw an old video and he had not realized how much progress you had made until I saw the old video. Great job. Love you guys Chicago Grandma
Crazy to think a few years back I was working construction, and we would take the back roads from Beresford to Huron for a job and we would drive right through Mount Vernon and come within a half mile of your place and never knew it! Keep up the great content! I love watching your videos
In the early ‘70’s I was working for Texas Animal Health Commision blood testing cattle for brucellosis. One of the ranches was on the Ft Hood military base, 40,000 acres. There were a few pens on it but most of the time we made pens out of pickups & trailers. We’d get the cattle milling around and load them up.
Good job on loading the Bull I have loaded them in a open field by myself with a bucket of feed but yesterday I had a big bull in barn he didn't want to be loaded tried to fight took 30mins he finally went
No matter what video you post you always make it interesting and fun. So excited for the babies!! Just remember farming is repetitive by nature. Loved the video.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Enjoyed the video part where Brian gave Cole a hug for getting that bull in the trailer finally. Now that is true family farming teamwork!!!!!!!!!! Just great!!!!!! Almost had some wet eyes. That bull gave you guys a run for your money as they say. But you got him. Come, you mentioned the talking on the video. I feel most of us really like you or dad talking us through whatever you are doing. So just keep talking, it is great!!!!!!! Makes the video. Thanks to Brian for the song of the day, that is a good one. Careful on the road Brian getting the barbed wire pallets. Take care. Glad the township let you close that road. Makes good sense to do those fields that way. Good going everyone!!!!!! About it for now. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. I think that very few people realise the seriousness required when handling bulls. Especially if they are used to being out in the field and not halter broke "show animals" When Working bulls you are always a split second away from getting hurt badly. And that hug and the 10seconds preceding it was testimony to that.

Ive seen an autonomous tractor plowing and planting fields. Farmer has to set up the field they want planted or cultivated and it keeps going until its done. Their really neat to watch.
Well, Guys, since you don't yet know us well enough to invite us to the kitchen table when you're planning out your day, I appreciate the running commentary. Keep it up!---I'm always glad for the ride-alongs, it gives me perspective on the day-to-day near the Farmstead in North Dakota.

I like the videos with you and your dad working with the cattle. And even when Jeff works with you. More cattle videos would be fine with me.
Those that have never chased a bull cannot fully understand the sweetness of a partially loaded trailer!!
The slappy josting had me laughing thanks
Great video Cole and Brian
