And your lucky you still have a wonderful mother in law. I lost mine.... 23 years ago. And I've missed her everyday since! Treasure that women! And Happy Birthday Brian! That's my gift to you!
When I was in High School 1975-78, My grandpa would say,. "We need to work on the Fences today" To my brother and I it was worse than going to the dentist,. You guys make fencing look like fun.
Your Grandma is a great sport. I don't think we've ever seen Brian behave so well. Great Video Gentlemen. I gotta go look for that Milwaukee stapler. Nice collection Brian.
I can remember when my dad and I would do fencing I would get torn up by the barb wire all the time. Happy Birthday Brian, I coming up on 71 and I still remember living on a farm.
Good Saturday morning Sonne Farms. Just dropping in again to express my appreciation for all you do working with dirt - our most important resource - giving people an alternative to ordering food from "direct to your doorstep" companies that deliver food in cardboard boxes, which inevitably have their contents spoiled by the rain. As for me, this morning at breakfast, my top hand Ezekiel was complaining that the coming storms were bothering his knee again - and sure enough we had a gully washer. I told him, "That's something you gotta expect in August - but because you've been with the family for so long and you're so good at your job, go ahead and take the rest of the day off - give you a chance to enjoy a full weekend like everybody else - both Saturday and Sunday. God bless and have a great weekend. .
I Love You Guys, that's just the truth! As much as I prefer the older ways, I know that it was the advent of TH-cam that allowed me to see a great Family and farming system of life still alive!! I think that that same platform that Brian allowed Cole to show us is why it is so special and even more impressive! The other points I wanted to comment on I won't, I've already spoke too much but, I also Loved seeing Grandma at the end, had to add that!!
@@cleroyster2610 Not really mean just the right way, although I knew meant that as a joke! I've had people go off on me for saying what they considered insider jokes! Ahh Mrs Tami-in-law is so sweet! 😊💙 Cole I was on hold with Adult Protective Services to report Mr Brian for the dual challenge slap, however when I heard you had eaten his last piece of Birthday cake I let the dual slap slide n reported you instead. LOL! 😅 And when you said yep you were your Dad's son I wondered if you knew just how closely you resemble him. For example when you put down the ramps at the back of the trailer, you both wipe your hands in the very same manner, so yeah you're definitely Mr Brian's son. I often heard "You're your father's daughter" for similar things n it's quite sentimental to know. You have a beautiful relationship. 😁💙🙏🦘
The fence post driver on that skid steer is the biggest game changer. Where I live in Georgia, you would have to sharpen the ends of those poles first. This stuff is like concrete, especially in the summer.
I purchased a dewalt 9 Guage fence staple gun...that is a game changer as a Vineyard owner and operator.. One simple trigger pull and the 9 Guage staple is in....works same as a framing nailer. Tool is battery operated... I can fertilize all my vines..(We fertilize by hand 3.5 acres of grapevines..). and fix wires that came off posts in a single day. The right tools for the job really make a difference!
Grandma 's are the best, back in the days they did a lot on the farm from baking fresh bread and making mash potatoes and a chicken for dinner at noon to a roast at Sunday dinner at noon And GMA would run errands for everyone on the farm and even drive tractor back home because the kids weren't old enough to drive and didn't want to get caught. Looks like you had a great birthday Brian and wish you many more in the years to come !
Brian, excellent song of the day. I have to be honest, we didn't have a slamigan or a post driver. "Well a hand post driver" so fencing to me when I was younger wasn't as much fun. It was great to see Grandma on your out take. Maybe bribe her to drive for you. Oh wait Cole ate the last of the Birthday cake. Thanks for taking us along with all of you.
You Cole & your Daddy are so... much fun to watch... You both had me belly laughing today... 🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your Mom⚘️🎈🎁🎂🍦May GBY her with many, many more HAPPY & HEALTHY BIRTHDAY'S to come 🙏❤️✝️🤗🎊 Your Grandma looks AMAZING for 86 years old 🤗❤️ HUGS & BLESSINGS ALWAYS & a Hello to your Mom & Tiffany... GBY ALL 🙏❤️💙💖💙🤗✝️
Still amazed about the amount of work you two and Jeff get done. No longer spring chickens. Cole’s gonna have to raise a crop of grain cart drivers before you two retire.
Awesome looking fence, that Milwaukee power stapler is a real nice tool, or as you called it, the Slam-again! Well, sounds like you had a wonderful 60th birthday, so Happy Birthday Brian. Hope everyone had fun and thank Cole for sharing, have a fantastic weekend.
Look at that sky! We had atypical monsoon weather 2 days ago...a few sprinkles that didn't get me wet, but I sure loved the sound!---Speaking of sound...I heard your meadowlark...sigh. Made me happy!
I thought your grandma was celebrating her sixtieth birthday. She is so wonderful. Happy Birthday Brian. My great niece is celebrating her nineth Aug. 7.
Taking the last piece of cake is like taking a man’s last cold beer 🍺. Happy birthday Brian wishing you many more. Great video I’ve got to get me one of those Milwaukee tools
I enjoyed the fence building and your new gadget. Happy belated birthday, Brian, and thanks to your grandma! One day Cole, your kids will take the last piece of your birthday cake too.
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Great interview with Brian’s mom and Cole’s grandma. Super nice lady and wearing a Sonne Farms shirt. Liked her straight forward answers to your questions. No doubt in my mind she could run a grain cart. Brian, were is your Sonne Farms shirt??????! Glad she came to the birthday event. Super lady, enjoyed her interview. Brian. I must admit I do not know the song of the day nor the singer. Wow. You got me on that one. Will check him out. Cole and Brian are super fence builders. You two build one fine fence line and support posts. Cole, love your new staple gun. Pretty darn nice tool. One fine fence you two build. Enjoy the bantering between father and son. That is just great. Wonderful relationship you both have with one another. Is a gift on itself. Proud to know you both. Trust your birthday event was a great time for all. Glad you are getting some moisture. Here in central Iowa absolutely none. Ground has huge cracks. Not good. About it for now. You both take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
just a really neat and amazing video. Love Cole and Brian ( Mr. B ) working together so good. Happy 60th happy birthday . Sorry you didnt get to eat the last peice of cake. Thank you guys
Hello what a difference now putting up fence than in the 70s. I've dug anchor post and posts by hand carried barb wire by hand to string it out. Pulled fence wire with fence jack was so labour intense and all day job as to what you did in short time. I'm sure Brian you know what I am talking about. Great job gentlemen have a great day.
Brian I remember that song Chris Isaak wicked games you play to make me feel this way things you do to make me dream of you that was a good tune all right Brian God bless you guys get that fence done 🤓👍🙏🍺🍺
Happy Birthday B rian. Now im going to call my Dad because Brian and Cole reminded me of how great it is two work next to my father. Thanks for that. Also Ill be calling my son and making more plans to work together. I would say todays Video has invoked memories and future Father and son events. Good job!
When we built our pasture fences .. The corners and gate post were set using a switch RR tie post - they were really long. We dug a 12 " or 18" hole with bobcat auger. The thinking was to bury those particular post so they were 7 ft deep and 9ft out of the ground. This was to give a visual of where gates and corners were located in case of emergencies. The regular line post were set at 36 ". We were luckily that this clay soil was very dry. not a drought. What was really helpful was at 30 inches the glacial wash that was deposited had rocks. Every hole was opened liked clock work. 3 ft deep 5 feet of exposed post. Side note the bobcat concrete breaker can have an adapter fabricated to become a Post pounder. T post so fast you will wonder why, why hasn't that been done sooner. I appreciate the content. These type channels are what life is all about. People who care and care enough to share. I know it is a pain but a gravity fed water tank to aid backfilling if you have to. God Bless
Sad that you only got a quarter inch of rain, but it’s better than nothing. Let’s hope Mother Nature decides to end the drought for all the places that have the issue…and maybe stop the rain from flooding all those other places with too much rain. Love to see you two doing the fence work with all the right equipment! Keep up these great videos!
What a sweetheart of lady! Great video y’all!
Grandma is amazing. She loves you all. I can’t imagine the hours she’s spent praying for you.
Happy birthday Brian! Just remember, your not getting older your just getting better!

At 11:16, when Brain was asking Cole about his birthday cake, I had an instant thought of Milton looking for his stapler hahaha. Well done Brian.
"If you would just go ahead and do that from now on that would be great"
Awe grandma is cool hopefully we see more of her 😊

The end was so awesome! Happy birthday Brian, may you have many more.
I love watching father and son working and joking with each other. It reminds me of time I spent with my Dad . Thank you Sonne frames
Wish my Dad had lived longer so I could have had these times with him...
Brian and Cole make fencing look so easy, it amazes me how quickly you two can build fence. That new Milwaukee is definitely a game changer.
They have a plan, tools, equipment and work well as a team.
