My husband and I are watching your episodes every night. We have a ranch of our own and learn something every night. We love how respectful you are to your father. Sad to say that is a rarity.. you guys got it going on!!!! ❤️👍🏻
Cane your dad are awesome I watch all every time I get a text saying that y'all have done something with a child I'm 62 years old that I sit here in my chair watching y'all I have stage 4 cancer and I've been watching you all for a good while now I like when your dad says have I told you now
From one father to another you teared me up. The love you have for your boys......well that is just something special. You are a super parent and just a great person. Cole I hope you know how much love that guy has for you.
Brian, I loved it when you put your arm around Cole and said thank you. You are a good man that has raised a fine son. Thanks for sharing your days with us!
Great blog today. You and Brian were busy with the cows and calves for most of the day. Enjoy watching you and your Dad working together. The relationship between you and your father is one of the reasons watching the blog is fun. Could you imagine if all the work done today had to be done by one person. There are not enough hours in a day for all that work and the mud makes everything that much harder. Catch your breath tomorrow the sun comes up again. Stay healthy and safe
Especially when using the side-by-side with several calves, I would think piggin strings would make a whole lot of sense. I do enjoy your content and the father-son relationship. Call yourself lucky, Cole, you have your Dad as mentor, leader, and best friend.
Boy oh Boy that is some work.........dangggggggggg I can only imagine how tired you are but it's keeping you healthy and keeping us all fed so thank you for that! I'm thinking Cole is about like Brian when he was younger and who better to teach you than someone whose been there and done that! Kudos guys.........awesome career you chose and a heck of a lot of work and not at all a job for the faint of heart for sure. God bless and keep safe .............some of the Cow's/ Heffers look like they could get a bit MEAN if they set their heads to it. Yikes.........no close calls needed! :-) Love your channel!
Hi Cole and Brian hope you all are doing good today and your family.God bless you and your family today and always.Thank you for sharing everything.God bless you all.
You guys sure have some nice looking calves. I can tell Brian has put a lot into building a high quality herd. Nice to see how well you all take care of your livestock...very impressive!
I’m a new subscriber to your channel. The bond between you and your dad is amazing . I had no idea the momma cows get so mad . This is very interesting and fun to watch.
On May day holiday , so binge watching * SONNE FARMS* Both your attention to Animal hygiene is a testament to your great husbandry skills and proves why hard work has led to Brian's successfully growing his business with able assistance of Super Jeff and Cole . A great advert for a mixed farm Livestock/arable no matter where you are in the World. Cole , bet you would take this water in 2022 spring ????. Regards to all. Brian Dawson Edinburgh 😎
It’s good to see the behind the scenes work. You guys take excellent care of each cow making sure they are clean, dry, fed and watered. Looks like a heavy day of work every day.
You guys are great. So nice to see such a wonderful father and son team. Plus you guys crack me up with your humor, it is awesome. Grandma’s Cookies. You should have the night cams rolling to see who is eating the cookies with their milk. 😃
You can have bountiful calving, or dry conditions. You can't have both! Then it would be easy and everyone would do it! Seriously, I appreciate how you handle the cattle. I've known more than one farmer that wouldn't worry about the conditions on the ground in the barn the way you guys do. Good farmers create good farms and good farms create good food...and my stomach appreciates that!
As bad as the weather gets you guys keep your head up and motor though it with smiles and humor. I think claving is as good as haying but love it all keep it up great videos
I Really enjoy the two of you working together, I would bet some families get jealous how good the two of you get along. Good to have barns to move the cattle around
It’s sure great you guys take time to video. As busy you are caving now. Growing up on a farm myself over 30 years ago your videos bring back memories.
I commend you on your father it seems like you never stopped constantly on the move. It's good to see Father and Son work so closely together like back in the good old days. Now I can see why back in the day a farm they had 16 kids now I know why. I have learned so much just watching your videos. And especially with your weather conditions. You always seem to make the best of it. I also forgot I love your dad's stories.
Hey Cole your cousin's calf hauler is famous all the way up in Canada! Another you tuber named Sandi Brooks talked about it on her vlog just yesterday! She is a sheep farmer and was using a laundry basket and rope to get her lambs moved! Just thought I'd throw that out there to you!
The snow on our our winter calving paddock (11 acres) was all melted until last night when we got a nasty snow/wind storm 90-110km (55-70mph) winds. It is still windy today but the paddock didn't get much snow, thank God. Our calving starts in a couple of weeks but some of them are close to popping. Yesterday afternoon, before the storm hit, I told my girls they better not calve until it gets warm. They listened so far. Everything was dry and now we also have mud everywhere! I feel for you guys and what a great job you are doing!
Cole and Brian you are an amazing father and son team. I enjoy everything that you guys do for the farm and the claves. Can't wait for the next one. Keep it up
I thoroughly enjoy you videos, you are very informative you make it interesting and funny at the same time. I have learned a lot from you guys. Keep up the great work and stay safe. Don't lose that sense of humor, you need it. Looking forward to you next video.
OMG! He's wearing a mask! I am so very proud!! Keep clavin', guys! I cannot believe how slammed you are! Great job! I just love watching this channel (not the live clavin'. I skip that, thank you. Had four of my own. That's plenty.)
Brian I know I comment allot but from my heart you have done a great job with Cole raising him. I see so many kids that there parents don't give a sh&$ and there just lost. I think all your kids are great. I wish more parents would care. Be proud of what you have done as a parent. Hats off to you sir.
I love watching your videos my Father and Grandparents were farmers my Father in Arizona he raised Black Angus Cattle and my Grandparents had a Thousand Acre Farm in New Mexico they also had Black Angus Cattle, Goat's, Chicken, 30 Horse's and just about every animal you can think of they had a road under the highway where they could move the Cattle from one side to the other it has been in my Family for 60 years. You give me so much joy the way you and your Father get along is so nice to see. And you remind me of my Father and Grandparents. 🙏💞🙏
LOLOL sounds like Brian and his classmate invented 'whack a gopher' and 'whack a mole' stole their idea!! Here comes the Sonne Farms, do do do do, here comes the Sonne Farms, And yeah you're alright. ;) lol. Cole, with the look that heifer gave you thru the side by side window, out in the field, you'd think she's been talking with that heifer that had the twins, that was giving you the mean looks in the barn. And OMG the look on your face when the calf tried to escape the side by side while you were trying to grab for it. Whew. Glad you and Brian made it thru another day of calving. Stay safe and stay blessed.
👍👍👍 THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR this video. Sure needed a laugh and ya certainly did it. Sorry though as I’m sitting here watching you do all the work. Brian that water trick was one exciting thing when all the cousins visited our gramps. He’d load the old truck with barrels of water and we’d load buckets to place down mole and gopher holes. Also 3 crazy dogs who somehow could hear them underground and dig fast and usually came up with one in their mouth. We all carried shovels and bang them on the head. While dogs mainly caught the moles. Good times remembering those time and thanks for giving that flashback to simpler times. I still use the shovel as choice of weapon knocking off the fence possums that invade the chicken coop and am a good aim. Seeing them fly yards away gives a good feeling. And I stand by the story. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Flooding gopher holes... Those were the days! 40 years ago, My brother and I would do it from sun up to sun down! That was bes of best times that I can remember.
Ever thought of doing a summer program for a couple of teenagers who are interested in farming that you can like foster July to August. They would shadow Cole (or Brian),and help out. It would be a great experience for future farmer enthusiast. You guys are great people and make your job fun...
Had a friend get kicked by a clave in the private parts once while moving pairs. His uncle yelled, “ Watch your monkey parts”. I rolled laughing, “ monkey parts” is a universal cattle working term. Lol.
Hilarious! I wonder if the claves riding with Cole think he's some sort of rare Denim Angus? And no worries, we won't reveal any of Brian's trade secrets. Great vid today, guys!
Ahh you’re such a great father! That’s why your son is so awesome! I love your videos I watch them for hours! I could watch those baby “claves” all day long they’re as cute as can be!
I got to hand to you guys. You really got your work cut out for you dealing with that many cows calving at the same time especially in the muddy sloppy conditions. Its pretty dry right now down here in south east Texas. Been trying to get grass planted needing a little rain
I spent ~8 hours driving across central Ohio, thinking about you farm. 50° temps, winter wheat greening up now. A lot of fields being prepared for corn and soybeans. Thanks for your videos and education. Happy calving.
That is a lot of claves!!! Great video as always. I've got cows ready to pop. Always enjoy watching yalls operation in the evenings. Stay safe out there and see yall next time

Another great video. Just love all those claves! Ya'll look like you are getting tired! I don't know how you are getting it all done. Thanks for all the hard work you do. Blessings!

Hey ... that outro made me laugh out loud.🤣🤣🤣
No Brian you're not as good as you once were, you're better! Keep on claving and stay safe boys.
He’s as good “once” as he ever was.
It’s called calving not claving
