Ellie looks like she likes riding with in the cab guessing she is not always in the cab cause she may smell a little. So I know you changed out the bucket on the wheel loader just wondering reason why stay safe
Store where live has a contest each year for the rattiest 13:59 /well used Carhart coat. Rattiest win a new coat. Proud to have won that a few years back.
"You Spin Me 'round" was by Dead Or Alive and released, I think, in about 1984 or '85. It looks like you scooped up everything except all the little pointy things in the driveway. 😵💫💥
Thankful that you are back, safe from traveling. It was great seeing Ellie up in the cab with you and her attempt to clear the ice in front of the lift door. Stay safe out there sir, cherish your family and friends. Peace
You two crack me up! You both work so hard all day long but you keep a positive attitude and always have something to laugh about when you’re together. You brighten my day. ❤❤
I’m like you Brian, when it’s time to part ways with items I ask my wife to do it when I’m not looking. Takes years to break in a new carhart. Good luck!
"A day in the life" is probably my fav Lennon song... I live in Austin Tx & they're calling for 12 to 14 deg temps this wk end.. Last time it got that cold the state electric grid failed & 48 people died... Mostly elderly . Some died of CO2 poisoning ... It baffles me that states like S.D. have those temps on the regular , but you dont hear of people freezing to death in their homes..
Our 2.5 year old Ralph LOVEs watching “Sonne Farms” whenever he is playing with his tractor toys he’s says “like Sonne Farms does” 😂 Thank you for the good clean content! We farm so when he doesn’t get to go with his dad we can still get a taste of the farm from the comfort of home!
Much appreciate the video. Sorry for you fellas having to be out and about in that kind of weather but that's the nature of the business, I guess ! Cheers ! 👍😊
Big Daddy DJ Brian comes up with another awesome song of the day. Wish I'd have remembered that one during the Christmas season. I'll still have to listen to it now. Then have it stuck in my head for days.
Thanks for another great video Cole. It was really interesting. Always busy time after a winter storm. Seems lot to clean up from the storm. Your feed lots were troublesome for you and your dad. Lots to clean up but yet pretty soft in your lots. Two flat tires in one day. Oh no. Troublesome getting them off and repaired and put back on. But you got it done. Yeah!!!! And then the hydraulic hose broke on your dad’s loader tractor. Oh my. Got that fixed in good time and put back on. Good job Cole and Brian. Yeah!!!! Throwing old clothes in the burn barrel. Used them up. Dad put new ones on to start caving season I believe Brian said. Good going Brian. Driving home from NW Iowa had to have been some slick roads for you and the wife. Bad weather that way i believe. Glad you are home safe. Saw Ellie in the tractor cab. Don’t see that often. Does she not like that but will ride in the cab sometimes??? Nice dog. About it i guess. I am central Iowa and we got nine inches of snow ❄️ with another four to six inches coming. Oh my. Winter is here. You both take care and be safe. Thanks for everything Sonne’s. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Brrrr it looks cold there! This week all we got out of the arctic front was a touch of rain and sleet. Just enough to cause 60+ wrecks in a 4 hour period due to black ice and driving too fast. Texans don’t do well with that kind of weather!😂
nice to see Ellie out in the tractor , well winter must be here now you have snow , now some hard times with the weather , it makes every thing harder to do ,
The older generation manages in the "clutch" when necessary. There's something to be said about experience. Glad to hear things are buttoned up. Still Cole, sorry to hear you had to return early. That really is unfortunate.
Lights sure made a difference in the shop sir. Be safe, nice winter so far but we knew it had to show up sometime. Be safe sir and thank you again for bringing us along. LOL, love you analogies!
I tried to comment on your last video and lost it somewhere. Was wanting to say I am so proud of your advances in farming and all the new equipment you guys have purchased since Cole graduated. Very hard work I know as I'm an old farm gal. Smiles. Sorry that you had to leave the in-laws party. Reminds me of the 70's.
Tell Ellie she’s a super lucky pup. Millennial Farmer made Anna wait until he had 1M subs be for giving her a tractor ride. And thank you for letting us know what it’s like to fall into a manure spreader! 😂
Well after this weekend no more mud. Hope all the cattle fair well through this cold spell. Curious to see how that new water tank does in these kind of temps. Stay safe out there.
Your 770 would stay on top. Cole you’re pretty good on that skid steer. Just because the payloader is bigger don’t mean nuttin. Payloader in the construction world is the low man who brings gas
What! Ellie in the tractor!! How did you get her in there? She looked a little skeptical about your driving! Thank you Brian for reminding Cole to walk us through it. His answer was a perfect explanation (“I’m spinning.)
We're getting a storm tonight and tommorow, stay warm while your working out there, keep the video's a coming, haven't heard of you producing a younging yet, what the deal 😂👍
Glad to see you are getting some much needed moisture. Mother Nature blessed us with 6 inches of snow yesterday with more in the forcast.😊 Then today they announced with the unseasonably warm winter grass hoppers next year are supposed to be worse than ever!😬🤬
I am retired. I always hated the ice compacted roads! Especially when you meet someone or there is a nut that just has to pass you and cuts in too fast and starts to fishtail and you wonder if he is dumb enough to put his brakes on to stop the fishtailing. You wonder when natural selection will take effect and he doesn’t take anybody with him.
Hey there, with calving season up a good way to save your back while pushing the calves up to the trailer you can build a sort of panel to usher them up without having to bend down. We do it and it works like a charm. Have a good one guys👍
Has to be SO much easier moving snow with the Payloader vs a Skid steer and even the tracker/bucket. Lots more moving power. Here's to a very mild winter, though.
Farming! you have to take the good with the bad or maybe the unpleasant. We all enjoy riding around & "working" with you two. Be careful & safe & yeah, have fun.
Brian your coat was just getting broke in!! It takes 10 years to break in a Carhart jacket! My wife bought me a new one last Christmas with a hood, I’ve washed and dried it probably 10 times and it’s still stiff. I have another one like it I’ve worn for 15 years that’s finally softened up a little! Lol
Hi all merry Xmas happy new year nice to see Cole take Ellie for a ride in the tractor she might like some more rides throughout the year maybe harvesting
Missed you on Monday couldn't find a video. Hopefully has a good holiday season. Tis the calving season coming upon Sonne Farms. Looking forward to more black beauties
We use to do all winter calving, now very late summer to late fall..Still do some winter calving, but the cold is just so hard on them. Good luck with your calving.
First blizzard, how are you now? The news showed you getting hit again. One question, if you can't move your elephant with your Bobcat how do you move it?
Well you got just enough snow to make it so you had to plow, snow blow. Yet it was a wet snow under the top layer of crust that formed overnight. You really need it to get cold so you can maintain the feed lots better besides the cement pad. Stay safe!
4:50 *Cow brain* "Look! A giant pile of poo! 💩 Don't mind if I do. Hey suckahs look at me, I'm king of the hill!"
Brian looking dapper in his new threads.
Boy George: 'He weren't no man' 😂😂
When I was younger I didn’t mind the snow… I’m older now
Brain: “Boyd George, he weren’t no man”😂😂😂
Didn't think Ellie liked to ride in the cab. Was good to see her riding with you. Stay warm.
A first for me too
Ellie looks like she likes riding with in the cab guessing she is not always in the cab cause she may smell a little. So I know you changed out the bucket on the wheel loader just wondering reason why stay safe
I think Bryan should sing a couple of bars of the daily song
"What about Man-George? He wasn't no man." LMBO. I totally agree.
Nice to see Ellie riding in the cab staying warm Cole
"So this is Christmas" is also my favorite Christmas song
yaay!
Store where live has a contest each year for the rattiest 13:59 /well used Carhart coat. Rattiest win a new coat. Proud to have won that a few years back.
Thanks Cole for the video and your Dad too .

Some of that good ol' SoDak 🌬️. All the ❄️ ends up in the yard, feedlots 'n ditches, nev'r on the fields where a fella needs it ! 😜🙄
Dang.. No luck at all..Great video from 2 Awesome guys. thank you Sonne Dad and son
I think this is the first time that I have seen Ellie in a car or piece of machinery with you Cole. She looked so content and happy 🙂.
My same 💭 ❤
I'm glad to know your dad knows of the best band in history!
Awww. Ellie goes for a tractor ride. Love it 🥰
Great video Cole and Brian
Thanks guys!
I don’t envy you living where you are I’ll stay here where I am cheers Bundaberg Australia
Thankful that you are back, safe from traveling. It was great seeing Ellie up in the cab with you and her attempt to clear the ice in front of the lift door. Stay safe out there sir, cherish your family and friends. Peace
Cole, the cow whisperer. The pied piper of cattledom! They'll follow him anywhere. 🤠🤠 Good episode!
Thank you for sharing everything.God bless you all
Cole that Mexican vacation hit you hard you still kind of damaged, I meant you hit it hard. 🙃🤣 Brian Dead or Alive spin round round !!!
Thank the Lord for tractors 🚜 with cabs 👍🇺🇲. Stay safe.
You two crack me up! You both work so hard all day long but you keep a positive attitude and always have something to laugh about when you’re together. You brighten my day. ❤❤
Thanks Im always up for a compliment!
Yay for snow blowing! Thank goodness for Storla Station.
Dead or Alive is the group you're thinking of Brian.
So much for fixing that tire! Makes you wonder where the hay they are coming from. Brian looks all fresh and new in his new duds!
I swear that dog has been caught going one way or another more than any other dog on YT.
I've been thinking about you guys all week. A man may work from sun to sun, but a farmer works from sun 'til done!
Sorry you had to leave Tiffany's family because of the weather, the important is you returned home safe.
Brian casually throwing away that perfectly good, nearly brand new coat…
Thank you for sharing this “holiday” video. Never any days off. 🐂
Now! you're cooking with Gas!!
Beatles forever!!
Especially, John Lennon!!
You picked a great one ---- of many, of course.
Stay warm! ✌
I could just about smell the poop you were describing. Ellie was being a brave girl!
I’m like you Brian, when it’s time to part ways with items I ask my wife to do it when I’m not looking. Takes years to break in a new carhart. Good luck!
The cattle are always very interested in what you're doin ... right up to being a bother. Fun to watch! Thanks Cole ... keep warm.
I look every day to see how your weather is. Still love your videos.

Love the banter between you guys. And the subtle jokes!😂
Much appreciate the video.

Wish I'd have remembered that one during the Christmas season.
I'll still have to listen to it now.
Then have it stuck in my head for days.
Ellie seems right at home in the tractor.
Thanks for another great video Cole.
It was really interesting.

Thanks for the reply Brian. Seems some dogs like to ride and others not. My dog just did not care for it either. Take care. Steve.
you guys do not b stop at anything to keep your cattle healthy and fed ! good thing you have all that great equipment . Super Job !!!
Hello enjoyed your video.
Glad you enjoyed it
Brrrr it looks cold there! This week all we got out of the arctic front was a touch of rain and sleet. Just enough to cause 60+ wrecks in a 4 hour period due to black ice and driving too fast. Texans don’t do well with that kind of weather!😂
I learn so much from you guys. Now I know I can't move my elephant with my skid loader. 🐘 Thanks for the tip Cole!
Love how you guys just walk into Storla Station like you own the place or something. 😂
yeah its kinda like home
nice to see Ellie out in the tractor , well winter must be here now you have snow , now some hard times with the weather , it makes every thing harder to do ,
Awesome content 👏 👌
Just a hint, back drag tracks in before it freezes hard, nice n smoothwhen frozen!! Dont ask how i know!!
The older generation manages in the "clutch" when necessary. There's something to be said about experience. Glad to hear things are buttoned up. Still Cole, sorry to hear you had to return early. That really is unfortunate.
Has the truck begins to slide we hear Cole say,
"Holy sheet . . . of ice !"
Lights sure made a difference in the shop sir. Be safe, nice winter so far but we knew it had to show up sometime. Be safe sir and thank you again for bringing us along. LOL, love you analogies!
HAPPY NEW YEAR
That's what I am going to do today, get the cattle ready for the cold subzero temp and snow storm coming.
Good luck!
Brian you new duds look good. you all need a plug kit so you can plug the holes yourself.
I tried to comment on your last video and lost it somewhere. Was wanting to say I am so proud of your advances in farming and all the new equipment you guys have purchased since Cole graduated. thank you carla
Check the pockets of the pants and jacket dad saves everything. Winter has arrived.

What a shame that you have to struggle against the weather. What you do is more heroic than you realize. Thank you for your work!
After watching the manure spreader again, i know i dont want to be around when it hits the fan. Great video as always
Your 770 would stay on top. Cole you’re pretty good on that skid steer. Just because the payloader is bigger don’t mean nuttin. Payloader in the construction world is the low man who brings gas
lol you finally figured out your hydraulic hoses were backwards, 😊, we’ve all done it several times a year 😊👍
What! Ellie in the tractor!! How did you get her in there? She looked a little skeptical about your driving!
Thank you Brian for reminding Cole to walk us through it. His answer was a perfect explanation (“I’m spinning.)
Thanks 👍 and GOD BLESS 😀

Hello from sunny hot Monteagle, Australia. We have 3 kangaroos that live in our back paddock. From Harrison ( aged 4)
How about an update on Storla Station? Has business been ok? I sure hope it makes it, always sad to lose those kinds of small town places.
yes things are going well
"pokey things" thanks Cole for the laugh!
Happens to be 18 below, 45 below wind chill in NE Nebraska! 20 inches of snow, shut down the state!
Well said tues 2pm Snow au time in a post b4 i was so close ha! its like wed
Your pay loader is worth every dime of what it cost! I know they are not cheap!
I am retired. I always hated the ice compacted roads! All good!
Hello 👋 Jeff
Hi all merry Xmas happy new year nice to see Cole take Ellie for a ride in the tractor she might like some more rides throughout the year maybe harvesting
Awesome video Cole. 🚜🚜🚜
I wlll keep in mind the advice about skid loaders and elephants. Man this channel is like PBS sometimes, the things you learn....
Or mutual of omaha wild kingdom!
Missed you on Monday couldn't find a video. Hopefully has a good holiday season. Tis the calving season coming upon Sonne Farms. Looking forward to more black beauties

Driving a skid steer in the my bucket list now. It looks like fun... Happy New Year!
You should!
Ours doesn't have a door. Not always so fun. But definitely useful.
