Honestly memorising the map intuitively while driving it so many times around all the way from qualifying pays off greatly in such situations. It becomes involuntary at a moment just like you traversing a road daily up and down to your home….that’s so legit❤️

Can anyone tell me what the blue and white car was that kept overtaking the M3? It looks to me like a Ford Capri but I'm not sure. Sounded mean as hell, and kudos to both drivers for incredible driving.

Nothing quite dances like a well sorted BMW , my E36 race car was very similar in these conditions, frustratingly sideways a lot of the time, but good arm exercise right ?? :D

My guess is superior traction- well known advantage and also from my personal experience tracking a 911.
Can someone help explain, why does he not need to clutch in during upshifts but does so on down shifts? If it's a sequential then u only need to clutch in when you're moving from a stand still right?
Which shifter is that!? Mine is a body mount but no where near as good as that on is
how are you upshifting without the clutch ?
Probably a dog box type gearbox. Automatically hits the clutch for you, used a lot in rally
@@gkan1042 Doesn't automatically engage the clutch for you, its just a different type of gear engagement that allows you to shift without clutch.
