Car sounds great. Seems like it drives great, too. Question: Why are you using the clutch to shift on dirt/gravel while just blipping off the gas on tarmac?
Excellent driving because of the greasy roads! These cars hate the wet! I know i have the 3.0 version far more exciting to drive than the 3.2! 3.0 is a proper racing car! Trying to catch the revs bang on time 😊
maybe because its normal non reinforced compared to the other who are straight cut gears or that its a direct gear that dosnt go through the all the shafts inside the gearbox but thats what i think only a professional can say for 100% what it is
I had the exact same question watching this but it was more like 'why isn't the 5th gear straight-cut?' 😂 So... why isn't 5th gear straight cut? Perhaps because it never experiences downshifts?
@@GPDusty im not 100% sure but i think you but less strain on the gearbox in 5th compared to lower gears, lot of people who strengthen their boxes with straight cut gears will replace 1-3rd, cause its quite expensive.
H-pattern straight-cut gears dog-box, plus a very short throw shifter, now that this exist I can sleep soundly. Do you program the ECU to cut the engine a bit when you change gears or you just go with it by letting off the gas pedal briefly?

I’m always curious, how much prep goes into learning the course? Do they get a lot of practice time?
We drive the course 2x in the morning with the normal car and have to follow the road traffic regulations
