This story actually hit surprisingly close to home. As an older brother myself, I'm thankful I got most of my inter-sibling animosity out of my system when my brother was a toddler. If anything, we were near inseparable growing up, and we're still best friends. The thought of sacrificing him for power is... spiritually nauseating.
Ironically, my brother has spent the last several years studying Western magic traditions, specifically in order to gain source material for his writing projects. Learned a lot of strange things from him secondhand.

I can totally believe it. This story reminds me of many of my biological family members, they would sell your soul if they could get away with it. I was sold, well I call it bartered as a kiddo to be sexually groomed to another family member. So this story honestly is just another reminder that you can’t trust any human being, even family.

I absolutely and literally LOVE this narrator. Best one hands down of all the creepy pasta channels.
Whatever he narrates I can get fully immersed in the story. And weirdly he appeases me and it’s one of the only non medicated way I can beat my insomnia.
Then I go back to the story when I walk outside or do my house chores to not miss a single word.
I keep searching for the story HE narrates but I can seem to find the way. The way he articulates, the voices he makes male or female, his tone makes it seems he’s actually telling me personally his own stories…everything is beyond perfection. Even better than audiobooks read by « professionals » I bought

This was a terrific story. Poor sweet Adam.
The story is good, but author needed to work on distinguishing which "he" they were referring to. It got a little hard at times understanding if it was referring to the protagonist or the brother.
Petite bourgeoisie delude themselves that they are separate from the lives of the working class they live off of while the major bourgeoisie anxiously await the day their host cleanses themselved of them.
