Where I am and How I'm Doing

  • I had been living abroad for the past 10 years and recently spent time in Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula. I had visited the most famous places like Playa Del Carmen, Cancun, Cozumel, Tulum and places on the west side of Mexico like Zihuatanejo, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas etc. I was very sick at the end of my time in Mexico and returned to Sweden to recover. In this video I speak a bit about my sickness and recovery and concerns about where I'll go next.

This is my first time watching you since my husband died last year. We used to watch you all the time and he would imitate you beautifully, especially our times in Puerto Vallarta. He had an advanced and rare disease (Amyloidosis) and failed quickly and passed away at the age of 57. You inspired us with your videos and we were buying a place in Mexico. Thank you for making a difference. Appreciate our health and wishing you full recovery. I can watch you again now and my heart doesn’t hurt thinking of my love. ❤

I am in Mexico right now... I have been thinking about getting residency... actually started the process. So sorry for your loss!!! I lost 4 members of my family the last two were in an accident just two years ago.. I haven't recovered! But being in Mexico is a wonderful distraction. Like you I have watched William and his dear friend Maria for a while now and feel encouraged about a better life! Best wishes SusanV.

Dear William. It’s great to see you are still alive. I was getting worried about you. This is my perspective as a 76 year old. I’ve discovered 76 isn’t that old. I don’t feel old at all. As for your mental state, Covid changed everyone even if you didn’t get that sick. As to your “what am I going to do”, don’t sweat it. What I told my kids, 20s are for partying, 30s are for finding what you want to do with your life, 40s etc are for doing it. I’m glad Maria is coming to Sweden. Trust me, life is better and easier as a couple. I don’t see you settling in Sweden. Find an income stream and then do what you like to do. One other thing, I followed you mostly because you are an funny and interesting guy. To me that’s your strengths. I wish you all the best.

I agree COVID has changed our mental state as a 55 year old I should feel happy as I retired early and could travel anywhere I want with my sisters kids are grown but again nothing feels the same after COVID

Alot of us are starting a life for the 1st time after 50, especially after spending the majority of our lives raising kids and still watching kids. Our lives were never lived for ourselves, but to take care of others. I don't agree that life is easier as a couple, it's been my block in life, living for others but myself. Having a couple is living for another, best thing to do is have personal goals not involving others. Then, later think about having a couple, BUT after living for yourself 1st.

So good to see you again William! You look really healthy and back to your old self. However, I do sense a change in you. This video was very self-reflective about your life and future and I really like that. My advice is to not worry, you'll figure it out. wtf? Lady, are you serious? Did you say this guy is talented? What talent? Are you so devoid of meaning in your life that you are enamored with these vacuous, narcissists who give no value in the world??? This particular guy is lost because he doesn't know what to do. How shocking. Most people don't know what to do but most people aren't getting financial incentives by self-seeking, and traveling and being hedonistic. This is unbelievable.

I think you are much like me my friend. Searching for purpose and never quite finding what is right. There are people that search their whole lives and never find it. My vote William is to keep doing you. Don't change what is at your core. Family and career and cars and homes are fleeting too. Follow your travel until you know that you belong. When you find that place it will never let you leave anyway. Much love my friend

Oh brother, lady. You just can't enough of being a voyeur into the SUPERFICIAL, SHALLOW LIFE of a narcissistic, "youtuber" / "Influencer," can you? Unbelievable. Is your life this devoid of substance that you really do follow this crap? That's not even remotely as real as this guy via the internet, would lead you to believe. Hey, I have the travel issue as you. 48 still no kids or home town. I’m
The guy that offered you guys to come stay in Cabo. Trust you’re not alone, we’re kinda running away from ourselves but it never ends. You know the feeling, booking a new place and checking into a new hotel is fun. I don’t think their are definitive answers. Just try to be happy and keep moving. On a touchy subject; you’re healthy William, stay the hell away from the v ax. I know so many with illnesses. The masses are wrong and the doctors follow protocol. Take NAC, Glutithione and zinc. My mom got better with those. I won’t go on because the masses are brainwashed . Love the videos, keep it up. I’ve learned if things are meant to be the right woman will present herself. Don’t chase anyone. Cheers brother

So amazing to see you back … going home is often the best course of action. A reset is required from time to time. I don’t live in a house, I am now 60, I love to be on the move ( usually with work) but living on the water as I do, offers a sanctuary from the crazy mad world, usually found within cities and towns…
On the other hand, my eldest son is a similar age to yourself… he’s lived and worked abroad and I never thought he would ever settle down. Now 36 and with a house bought and paid for he was married this Saturday gone ( Aug 23 ) and it seems he’s finally settling down. Who knew … it will happen to you William, only if you want it to.

Great to see you back and feeling better buddy. Keep your head up, keep grinding, and never stop following your dreams.
Being in your mid 30’s is a weird age. It can make you feel a certain way if you haven’t accomplished expected things, like having a career or a family. But what are expected things? Fact is you have a career as a content creator (you are amazing at it) and Maria seems like your perfect life partner. Embrace it. Another fact, you are an inspiration to a lot of people.
You are a success and are living a life we all dream of. Don’t get your mind caught in a rut thinking you need to be this or be that by a certain age. As long as you are true to yourself then the things you dream of having will come to fruition.
Keep having fun, get yourself back to where you were pre-sickness, and always stay on your path of following your dreams.

No surprise when people spend so much time glued to their phones that their life passes them by. The best time of your life should be 20s. By 30s one should have achieved some of their dreams and made new ones. You can try different things, change your dreams and direction but to sit around and mope of not knowing what one wants is just sad. I am not saying that this applies to you or your daughter but I see a lot of young people including children wasting their lives in front of phones instead of living. You have to actually live in order to figure the life out.

@@juvi999 you are totally right with it but I have to say people glued to their phone is more the generation younger than us. Was not our generation :)
I also think what makes it harder is... We have to many options, constantly asking ourselves if we did right or wrong here and there, can live everywhere, always new chances, cheap flights.
Like centuries ago, you haven't had so many chances, it was clear what you do, pick between those 50 jobs if you are lucky. Nowadays pick between unlimited jobs, more options create more uncertainty. Same with living in which country. And social media always shows you only the best life 🤔 because people never show their true colors and that makes you feel like you have achieved noting.
      What to say

    • @juvi999
      @juvi999 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@robbyrobbe123456sadly the phone issue is not age limited. I regularly see people of 35 and above, even retirees, who spend time at restaurants scrolling on phones instead of talking to each other. They are setting a horrible example to the new generations who will never know the difference. Regarding your own situation, I see what you mean. Having too many choices indeed can be confusing but you can definitely narrow them down. Visit Asia because of the amazing food. Or explore more of Europe because of the culture, visit ancient sites in Greece which are thousands years old and learn about the ancient civilisations that seem to be more advanced than us, go to South America or even Africa for the amazing nature (there are some great videos by Matt Dubber), every place in the world has so much to offer. If you have a hard time choosing, go on sky scanner and choose “everywhere” as a destination. I assume you are able to either work remotely or take up local jobs. Travelling will expand your mind and you will figure out what makes you happy and on your road you will meet the like minded people. My only advice is to not rush it but spend some time in each place. I found that spending at least a few months in one pace is much more rewarding than regularly moving around. Interact with locals when travelling, be curious, study their culture, learn basic words, build friendships. Go to places where they love foreigners (have you ever been to Albania? They are the most hospitable Europeans who genuinely love foreigners. Or Georgia (country)? both very affordable and very beautiful with friendly people). Regarding having the wife or kids, you are still quite young. Figure out yourself and what makes you happy first before looking for a partner. Once you find your inner contentment and gain the self knowledge, you will run into someone else who is equally happy and who has the same morals and interests.

I would say those "inoculation/s" were the primary 'cause...' and the MOLD, was thereby secondary?? (i.e. Because that seriously compromises, the immune system... to put it politely.)

It sounds like You are going thru the early stages of a mid life crisis of sorts. Yes You have Freedom, not commitment to a work life or family life, but with that as you said comes "boredom", and with that comes the reason why you have to travel so much and do all you did in all the videos (I do enjoy watching them!!), but you mentioned many times even then that you were lonely and had similar feeling of what to do next, should you settle down and start a family or continue to travel. Firstly looking outside of yourself for fulfillment will not lead to a happy life, simple pleasures yes, but not fulfilment which is what we all want, so the key it to find it within yourself first, then you won't need to find it other people, places or things, then when you have this, travelling is much more enjoyable. Glad your back and more healthy than before, enjoy your video's, keeping on moving forward!!!

I used to work on a cruise ship and I saw and stayed in about 30 different ports over a two-year course. Nothing like what William is doing as I haven't crossed either ocean but I've went everywhere from Bermuda, to pretty much everywhere in the Caribbean, lots of Mexico and Hawaii. I live in Vancouver and I love it here and I think we forget how blessed we can be, despite the ridiculous cost of actually trying to survive here! But from what you see and read, this seems to be the case everywhere so just try to make the best of where you are. But to get back on point, if you do get a chance to visit Canada obviously you're going to want to see the major centres here. And I would definitely wait till after May. Unless you bring warm clothing! LOL. Some stereotypes about the country are true. Maybe start on the west coast of the country and make your way East if you're going to come out here early in the year because British Columbia is definitely the most temperate of all the climates in this massive country. And bring a decent amount of money because as I mentioned it's not a cheap place to visit or live but there is lots to do when the weather gets good! If you love nature and the outdoors you'll love it. In any case William, I hope this finds you feeling back to yourself again and your adventures and exploits never fail to entertain so know that you definitely have a following of people that love what you're doing! Cheers from the great white North

Unfortunately you got sick but you made that commitment and if not for your illness, I'm sure you would have thrived in the test you gave yourself. Things don't have to be as absolute as your thinking. You can stay in one place and then decide to leave. You can settle down your life without sacrificing your desire to change scenery. I'm glad Maria is coming. Being part of a team is rewarding. Decisions are easier when you can bounce ideas off a partner and here their opinions as well.

Maybe the shots that William took so he could travel are the cause of his sickness? Being in his mid-30's, not sure that Sweden would be good choice for William to settle down with a wife and future kids because of problems like high cost of living, bad weather and so many migrants? If he decides to go abroad, the U.S. would not be a good choice because there so many problems? Maybe Mexico might be a better choice?

So good to see you healthy again. Brother, you need a true purpose and a mission - it might sound a little esoteric, but it must be a higher purpose, to serve humanity, to serve god, to give your love and gifts to the world. A man's true purpose is never a 'house, car, things etc', that's the lie sold by Maya - the illusion of the matrix we live in. Your mission to hit 100k subs has fuelled your life for the past few years, but as it now approaches, deep down your soul knows it's an empty goal. This is a period of change and growth for you brother - you're being asked to step up, dig deep, and find your calling. Much love brother 🙏

You keep talking as if Mexico had "dirty air" and the relatively "clean air" of Sweden made your breathing better. Also, on Instagram you were surprised by the fact that many of your viewers also watch Fox News, but that's obviously because it's a bunch of old snowbirds from Canada and the US that watch you for your travels south of the border. Take the high speed catamaran from Bergen to the fjord where Flam is located.
Take the train up into the high country, train will stop at a large waterfall , then disembark at Myrdal train station.
Take the train from Myrdalto Oslo and spend a day or two there. Catch the overnight ferry (reserve a bedroom cabin) to Copenhagen, spend a day or two there.
Catch the train back to Stockholm.
