I wish codemasters make a graphic rework and let the game physics just as it was originally... Even today, this game has no equal in terms of driving pleasure.
it's no Gran Turismo 2 but its definitely one of the better looking racers on the PSX. I think the draw in distance is a bit shorter than GT2. That's the big thing that kind of jumps out at me but its still not nearly as bad as Sega Rally 2.
I played this game to exhaustion back in the day. Remains one of my favorite games of all time. Looks great, the physics are realistic and it's still quite playable.

This game has many of my childhood memories, my brothers and I had a lot of fun with it, every time one of us set a new stage time record the other one tried to beat it and then the other tried to get the record back to its ownership lol. Good times!

@@pableette We use zerotier. Shared our ip numbers. Set the connection to public. Both of y'all have to do that. Once you're in the same network, then y'all can play Toca 2 and CMR2 online.

This was like the first game,outside of Windows built-in games, that I've played on the PC. Every aspect of it gives me the chills and reminds me of the simpler life. It did look more graphically advanced back in the day tho.

One of my favourites , it’s aged well too. There was a track with tarmac an the car would stick to it like at 10:10) felt good how the car would handle differently over different surfaces.

Which config and shaders are you using? In my PC i use max settings but the letters in the menu look blurry and the road doesn't run that fast and smooth :(
