- I did my best to attach the 1977 LIVE Version to the record. I am a former video editor from CNN and KCAL tv news and this was a pet project I wanted to do for a while. I hope you enjoy it and share it with other Skynyrd fans.
The film was recorded at the Coliseum in Oakland California.

I love this song because my mother liked it very much on our LA to Monterey trips. So memorable and I miss her so much and my brother Gus; we had such laughs on our drives. Memories. RIP. 🙏

Wow , what a great experience that must've been !! I'm envious - I wish I had been there !! I only discovered the music videos of Lynyrd Skynyrd a few years ago, and love them . I am English and I found another video of them performing live at a
pop festival called Knebworth in either 1976 or 77. I wish I had known as I could have seen them like you did
I did go to Knebworth the following year when Pink Floyd were the star attraction. One of the support acts was
the Steve Miller band. It was the first time I had seen them, and they were amazing !! They got a standing ovation at the end of their set , and it was richly deserved ! Fantastic performance !!
Although I missed them, I am glad someone filmed and recorded their live shows to preserve their brilliance for music fans ever since. The only modern band that even comes close to LS in my opinion are Blackberry Smoke, who I was fortunate to see in the UK in 2018. It was Armistice day , which I think you in America call Veterans Day. They performed live in a town near to me called Bristol. They were fantastic.

Good Morning! Sweet Sweet Home Alabama. I love that song. Sing Song about the South land. Pretty cool lyrics! Daniel Grayson was not from the South. But the people who raised him up were from the South. They adopted him when he was only 5 years old. When I met my Sweetheart, He was 44 years old. I was only 32 years old. It was love at sight. I had friends named Lorenzo Biggs. He was about 53 years old. Both of them served in the Armed Forces. Both were in the Marines. Lorenzo Biggs wanted Daniel to take good care of me. Sergeant Biggs asked Daniel to take care of me in a nice way. That day he agree it. I kind of know is going on. Me & Daniel we hanging around for a while. Then something happened. We part ways. I did not meet up again until September of that year. 1996. When we got together again. We were like the couple in Frost Gump. We spend 10 years together. He asked to marry him. I never got it. I love the guy truly. Like Truly Norman. Truly Norman. Norman is also a Vietnam veteran Marine. He a school teacher in Southern California. I always love Marines. Maybe Army, the Navy are my friends. The Army member are my friends. Marvin, my neighbor was a Desert Storms Veteran. He was Army. I like when he say Sing Song about the South land. The band is Priceless! Gifted Musician!
