I am about to buy Delonghi machine and I have watched plenty of your videos. Every one of them is very useful and gave me very important details about the machines. Great job!
I've watched more of your videos than I care to admit and find yours the best. I bought and Evo and mine includes a cold coffee option which was key for me. Thanks!
@@TomsCoffeeCornerI just bought the same model as well ( ECAM29084SB). It has 7 recipes: espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, iced coffee, coffee, hot water, and My Latte. Good videos, Tom. You helped me decide to purchase the EVO

Awesome :)) Your videos helped me alot when finding a new superautomatic for my parents. Only been using Saeco/Philips machines for years and years.. But after seeing your video on the Magnifica I went for that one. I must agree - the quality of coffee from that machine IS better than Saeco/Philips. I was actually pleasant surprised! Gotta be the best tasting coffee from a superautomatic I`ve tasted so far. And my parents are also very happy with the super easy user interface :)
Thank you for this comment. I was torn between the Phillips 2200 and Magnifica S. I’ve also read that the Phillips machine gets dirty from inside quickly as it spills coffee powder everywhere. Did you notice anything like that?
@@thegreatskywalker i have been using philips full automatic machines for 10 years and all of them have the same grinder which is open from structure and that allows easy cleaning and maintenance but for the closed grinder of delonghi that maintenance isnt required so. But never had issues with powder going everywhere and must admit i havent cleaned as much as the guide said😅 both a good inwould say better judge on taste cost and build quality i guess
@@thegreatskywalker Have not noticed that no.. But I must say that it was much easier to take out the brewing unit for cleaning on the Delonghi vs Philips/Saeco. What also Tom explains with Philips using a lot less coffee - explains why its been so far from "real espresso machines" with portafilter and 18-22g doses for double espresso. I also think the built in grinder is far better with the Delonghi. The grinder is one of the most important aspects and it can make a world of difference.
@@thegreatskywalker Hello again :) I am at my parents and just cleaned the machine for them. It was super easy and there was only a little “coffee mess/leftovers” at the “shower curtain” section. My experience with Saeco/Philips is that it’s much more messier. Thought of your original question and wanted to do an update. On the Saeco/Philips grounds and coffee leftovers are “all over” the brewing unit inside. So I am very happy with my parents new machine :))
Wonderful! I have had a MiiCoffee Apex for four months and my wife just picked up a magnifico evo. She isn’t a fan of really strong coffe, loves milk drinks and will use the machine for coffee quite a bit. Thanks for your reviews, they helped her decide.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner I have to add, I watched. your reviews of the Apex before I bought it. And even though my wife loves the convenience of the super-auto, she never refuses a flat-white when I make one on the Apex.
Another great review tom! Two Magnifica ESAM3400s sold by Starbucks in Canada (both purchased used) served our family well for around 8 years. These machines were solid and I was able to repair them myself including replacing the boiler and using parts from the original to repair the second. My sister-in-law has one she purchased new and it's still going strong after well over 10 years of daily use! When our second one eventually died, we purchased a De'Longhi Magnfica ESAM04110S. In less than 3 months it wouldn't power on and the local authorized repair shop concluded it wasn't worth repairing and so Delonghi replaced it with a brand new Dinamica. I agree the Dinamica makes slightly better coffee! We maintained the Dinamica extremely well, with regular cleanings and descalings. After 2 years when the transmission failed, Delonghi refused to repair or replace it on warranty because it was a warranty replacement for the Magnifica, our local authorized repair center told us they wouldn't recommend repairing it at a cost of ~ $500 because replacing the transmission was such a major job that there was a high risk of other issues and it would only have a 30 day warranty. They were nice enough to lend us a loaner Dinamica for 3 months while they worked with Delinghi to determine what was wrong with ours. The loaner made worse coffee and very inconsistent tasting (not sure why). Thanks to Tom's expertise and awesome video (th-cam.com/video/au92VvBYLrA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Gugei3zo6C0B_MPz), we've replaced it with a Delonghi ECP 3630 purchased on sale at Walmart for $144 CAD ($104 USD). Out of the box using the pressurized portafilter with pre-ground beans, our espresso tastes significantly better than what the Dinamica made! All these Delonghi's have the same steam wand that requires removing the panerello attachment to froth properly, but the ECP3630 has far superior steam pressure for steaming! Our bottomless portafilter has arrived and I'm excited to use it along with our new Turin DF54 grinder to experience espresso at a whole new level! If you're lazy, convenience is your top priority, you enjoy milk foam on your mediocre espresso, and you have lots of cash to spend, buy a Delonghi super automatic! If you enjoy coffee shop quality espresso and are on a budget, do yourself a huge favor and invest in a good grinder which you can leverage for many years for espresso, drip, french press, etc. and basic manual machine :-)
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Unfortunately not! Here’s a video on a Delonghi transmission repair: th-cam.com/video/HZ8oQUGtPjc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MVwcL6hYwNEofzPx Repair shop told us the entire machine requires disassembly which creates potential of other issues.
Thank you so much for all your videos! It was really helpful when you shown that philips didnt make real espresso so i went for DeLonghi instead, and I finally decided and i bought the Dinamica Plus 380.85. 😊
Wonderful review, I didn't know the brew groups are the same! Based on what James Hoffmann also analyzed these are the best bean to cup machines. The coffee tastes great. I was wondering about all the plastic content everywhere, now that we know phthalates are an issue, the brew group is plastic, the grouphead parts are also plastic. Probably not the healthiest, but we have plastic coming from everywhere anyway. Edited: I meant phthalates of course, not polyphenols.
I got the middle one (without the BT App) a couple of months back. Best gadget I`ve bought in a long time. A mug of 2 bean strength using either Sainsbury own blend, or Machu Pichu beans, is perfect every single time.
Thank you so much for covering the basics. Most videos go gaga over milk-based drinks so you never see if the machine can even do a decent shot. I wish I had seen your videos before buying my Gaggia Magenta Plus. The grinder just doesn't go fine enough (I confirmed that by grinding my own and using the bypass doser). The shot was much better. I've thrown out so many beans just trying to make up for this failing. Also, I thought everyone used the same brew mechanism so it's nice to see a different design.
Thank you for your good exposition. I have two questions and your answers would be of great value in order to decide which machine to get. 1- grinder : are they durable , I mean under a family of two coffee users? 2- milk foam. I have Delonghi Lattissima One for caps and the foaming system is not that good. Do Dinámica and Eletta Explore have improved foam system? Thank you
I have been using a second hand Breville Barista Express for over a year now and im looking at streamlining my morning with a Superautomatic. I typically make Lattes or Cappuccinos in the morning, and i was wondering whether i will really notice the puck size (g of coffee)? My typical process is a double shot pull with 18g of coffee...
Hello Tom, I just sent you a little $20 thank you because you so deserve it! Considering the price of these items it should probably be more as I feel that you gave me the education I needed to make the correct selection for my personal preferences. I've watched the sticker videos several times. I drink coffee everyday but it's just the old K-Cup type. I ended up purchasing the Delonghi Eletta Express and I've just spent the last few hours unboxing preparing learning connecting to Wi-Fi etc and the drinks are amazing 😍 Thank you!
@@neekieful Hi Monique, that’s very kind of you - thank you for your support! Hope you enjoy getting acquainted with and using your machine. 👍🏻 Cheers, Tom
Thank you for these informative videos, one thing to add if I may; there is a difference between them in terms of water pressure, which is as you know is essential to make a good espresso Thanks again
Hi, I use these ones: martermuehle.de/products/m-espresso Otherwise, check out my blog article: tomscoffeecorner.com/what-are-the-best-beans-for-espresso/
What happens when you want to switch out beans in these machines? Do you have to grind the ones close to the grinding mechanism or does this come out and you simply dump remaining beans back in their bag? Do you use the same espresso beans for every drink including regular coffee?
Very nice video and very much appreciated! You are getting closer and closer to a Jura machine :). I would be very interested to hear your opinion about Jura.
In the UK I bought the Dinamica Plus ECAM370.70.B it doesn't have connectivity or profiles. What it does do, when a coffee is made it leaks a small amount of water into the drip tray. Delonghi UK say a small amount of water in the drip tray as the coffee is made is normal.
I think the 370.70 also has a 15 bar pump vs 19 bar on the 370.95, so it probably cannot pump through 15g of finely ground coffee. Does it even have the doppio+ mode?
As always great review ! I have been thinking about getting the Elletta Explore. But I don't care for cold drinks so I can't justify the price. I would love to see you doing a review on the Gaggia Cadorna Prestige. Thats the machine I'm thinking about buying since it's around $700 and has a lot of great features.
Can you please do a review of the Jura Ena 4 and compare them in terms of quality and reliability vs Delonghi, Saeco, Gaggia, etc.? Thank you so much. Huge fan here.
Love your reviews. Thanks for taking the time to be so thorough. I've come back several times, and still are deciding which one to get. I do have to say, that Delonghi as a company is maddening. I had no idea there were so many different versions of the same machine. For instance, the Dinamica Plus 370, which is the version you have here has the phone app. Then there's the 380 version that does not. But there are other sneaky changes they've made to the version differences, like changes to the bar pressure, or menu options. Why? So frustrating. I'm really impressed with the Rivelia, but I can't get it in the US. For now I'm torn between the Eletta Explore or the Magnifica Plus. Holiday pricing has just started to roll out here, so these currently are a difference of about 500 usd. My only hesitation on the Plus is I can't find any data on puck size or grind timings. With the brew group being the same, this is really the key difference. But is it a worthy 500.00 difference? Is the Magnifica Plus and the Dinamica Plus pretty much the same machine feature-wise? Coming from being only a drip machine user, I'm also concerned if I'm going to like this at all?
If I had to guess, I'd say the Magnifica Plus will be the same as the Rivelia and Dinamica Plus, puck wise. But yes, it's frustrating how many different variants they make. It's stilly, really. I honestly think you'd be happy with any of the above. They're all way nicer than drip, in my opinion.
7:44 - you must have a scale in your brain because those numbers are moving to 30g.. LOL..... By the way - based on your recommendation a year ago, I purchased the Delonghi Dinamica.. and it has been FANTASTIC! Thanks for all you do!!
Now looking at 3 delonghi machines. These are here in Thailand rather affordable. They are: - Magnifica Evo ECAM 290.81.TB for about 970 Eur - Dinamica ECAM 350.55 for about 1070 Eur - Dinamica Plus ECAM 370.95.T for about 1350 Eur I like black coffee and espresso. My wife likes cappuccino. I used to have the smallest Jura but it broke down and where I live service is difficult and it was not repairable. So time to change. For the rest, I don't care about features. Would be nice to easily clean. And just great taste of coffee. Any suggestions
Well, the Rivelia has a slightly smaller brew group, as the machine itself is smaller. Should still do similar doses though. I have the feeling the Rivelia will be similar to the Dinamica Plus.
Great review and video, but I'm surprised that you forgot to mention that the EVO also has a double espresso feature that gives you the maximum strength possible of 14-15g, same as the Dinamica and the Eletta. You simply hit the X2 button and adjust the volume accordingly.
@thegreatskywalker Positive, I've weighed the dry pucks and timed the grind. What I got for the 3 strengths is about 7, 9 and 11 grams and 14-15 grams for the X2. The X2 pucks are visibly larger, and the grinder also runs for 10 seconds.
@@CechMtl-gm9yq Thank you for the reply. I hope @TomsCoffeeCorner makes a part 2 video on puck sizes with Magnifica S 13.5 grams, and Magnifica Evo with X2 button.
Sorry, I tried this yesterday, and it made no difference. I think on my machine that it just doubles the water. Grinding was still between 7-8 seconds. Maybe it was the case on the firmware of your model, but no longer on mine.
@TomsCoffeeCorner That's too bad, thanks for checking though. I figured that there might be something wrong with your machine or a difference between the models, I have the NA version model # ECAM29084SB. With X2, it grinds for 10 seconds, and it produces an 80 ml shot, I stop it at 40. According to the manual, a Doppio+ produces 120ml at default.
Hey Tom, I've been really enjoying your new uploads, but more importantly, I've also learned a tremendous amount since watching your older videos. Do you think you'll be doing a full review of the Magnifica Start?
Hi there! I did a truncated review, since it's essentially the same as the Magnifica Evo: th-cam.com/video/d5niedTxpY4/w-d-xo.html Let me know what you think. Too short, or is it ok?
@@TomsCoffeeCorner I had watched the video, and I made this comment because I thought it was a bit short, but now that I've watched it back again, I think a fun video idea would be to do a comparison of both machines since they're so similar. Even if there're only subtle differences, I think it'd be a good one for people who are new to superautomatics. What do you think? Either way, I'll always be tuning in, and thank you for all the great, entertaining and informative videos you make. Cheers from Canada!
Hello. Great compare. Please tell me how the size of the grinded beans pack compares to the delonghi magnifica Plus? Im torn betweeen rivelia and magnifica plus.
magnifica sounds like it is catching its own gears while grinding the beans. we have a sage at work and grinding is so much quieter, even more so than the other 2. Eletta is more similar in sound
Bought the eletta explore last month even though i could get the philips sarco xelsis suprema for about the same price (normally retail price is 600€ more) and the cheaper philips latte go series are build quality wise pretty bad compared to delonghi in my opinion to much plastic. Suprised that even the xelsis has same grinder as the cheapest philips full auto. I recommand you try the xelsis to though. But for me my old machine was a philips and i had to get use to the delonghi. I tested both machines when i got the eletta explore and you are right about the cup size. Philips uses less beans per cup/shot. Also the sensitity of the grinder level seem not making a lot of difference with my old philips but it does big time with elletta explore. I have it on 4 now if i go lower than that i get watery pucks and the coffee comes out very slow and inconsistent so for me the sweet spot seem to be 4. Thanks for your tests btw i learn a lot to make my favorite drinks
I currently have a basic Gaggia superauto and with the optional latte art wand I'm able to do some latte art with it. It doesn't look like the DeLonghi will allow much in the way of latte art. Is there any optional manual milk frother that can be used like the Gaggia. The espresso is pretty weak on all of the Gaggia superautos and I really want something with more body and taste like I would get with the Delonghi. I guess the semi Breville might be a better option for me. Thanks.
If you just let the frothed milk pour into a milk pitcher, and swirl it a bit, you can in fact do some latte art. I've tried it with the Dinamica Plus, and it works pretty well.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Thanks, the choices are so confusing really. Quality, part availability and customer services issues say the Breville, DeLonghi while all having very good features and all produce pretty good espresso and foam from the various models. I had a Brewtus II for many years but enjoy the Gaggia Brera much more but the espresso is just too weak and the milk frothing leaves a bit to be desired. I've been watching all of your videos and the Ninja looks to be very innovative but might have the Ninja quality issues as well according to my friend that repairs all sorts of espresso machines, consumer and commercial. I don't mind a semi-auto where I have to deal with the puck and I'm tempted just to go get the Breville touch impress and hope I don't have leaks issues. Wish the Gaggia had something comparable because the Brera has only had one issue in many years, their many false out of beans alarms...which they fixed in a firmware update by just removing the alarms, lol. Oh I tried reducing the shot volume on my Gaggia today to about 20ml and just went with 3 shots. No luck and the result is just too much bitterness and since I'm a coffee roaster (Ambex YM-2) my Sweetmarias Moka Kadir blend is not the issue. OK with 2 shots but a bit weak too. Do I need to spend $3K or more to get a good superauto from a company with good customer service?
@ Which company would that be? I find the upper Delonghi models really good from a drink and reliability standpoint, but I know that service from these big companies can be lacking. I don’t know, but we’ve been using the DeLonghi machines at work for years, and they’ve held up for us. You just have to make sure to descale regularly as that’s the main culprit to problems.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Thanks. I'm probably going to go thru the list again and try to decide. My repair friend's company is Express Fix Coffee, Inc. in La Mesa CA. if that is what you are asking. Yes I agree all three brands look like they would make much better espresso than any Gaggia superauto. Ninja might just be too new and going thru fixing some out of box failures at this point. They seem to be pretty good at replacing defective units and will no doubt sort thru their new product issues. Your very detailed and in depth reviews are so helpful sorting thru the features and weaknesses so thanks again.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Just saw Coffee Kev's demo and his Ninja 601 has the hot water option and Americano too. I might wait to see what the 701 looks like in 2025 and hope we get it early. The Brera will have to do for now, lol. I really like some of the tech on the Ninja and willing to take a risk on it.
Hi Tom, Wondering if you can advise on the difference between Dinamica vs Dinamica Plus. your reviews are amazing. I really like the sound of Dinamica plus. Here in Canada, they have the regular Dinamica for a good price at Costco, and it is like 700 more everywhere else for the plus model (and you don't have the amazing Costco return policy). I see that the regular D is not made in Italy and wonder if there is an implication on the quality. Hard to find a clear comparison / review of the regular model.
Hi Tom, great video. One question. I have the Eletta Explore and with the coffee intensity at maximum it only grinds 12g. Do you know if it only grinds that amount or if it can be adjusted to grind more grams? Thanks.
I originally bought the Evo, but it had something wrong with it so sent it back and bought the Dinamica Plus. I liked it, but really wanted the hot foam, so I sold it and bought the Eletta Explore. I've been very happy with it. I have the model that doesn't have wifi or the true brew over ice option. Saved a little money that way.
What do you mean with “ I really wanted the hot foam”? The dinamica plus doesn’t make hot foam? I’m hesitating between Delongui Eletta explorer and Siemens EQ900, for me it’s important to have cream latte not just airy foam. Thanks for your help!
@soniamartin2729 Exactly. The Dinamica only does cold foam, which is why I sold it and bought the Eletta Explore. It does both hot and cold so you get best of both worlds.
It depends on how good one is at milk steaming. I can steam silkier than these machines can provide, but that wasn't always the case. It's pretty darn good milk foam that these machines provide.
My only hesitation on these machines is the steel grinder. Is there any version of these machines that has a ceramic grinder? Or do you feel a ceramic grinder, with its lower temperature operation, vs a steel grinder doesn't make a significant difference in typical day-to-day use? Thank you!
Hey Tom - great videos! I am leaning towards the magnifica Start over the Evo -- would you conclude the Start has identical max dosage of 12g like you mention here for the Evo?
Great video! I have the Eletta Explore, and love it! What confuses me, though, is the "2x espresso" option. Because that one also makes two espressos from one bigger puck. So what is the difference between that option and Doppio+?
Love your reviews. I love the Dinamica and the eletta. There's a way to make to-go coffe on the Dinamica? And a way to make the milk come out cold from the dinamica? Cose if that's the case I may choose the Dinamica Plus.
Thank you much for answering. Im still saving for one of them and Im not sure which one to get yet, so here I am revisiting your great reviews 😅 @@TomsCoffeeCorner

@@vkempen88 Thank you for the reply. Its very helpful 🙂
Glad to hear it, hope you both enjoy your machines!
Thanks so much for sharing your experience! Could you have just replaced your brew group, or what do you mean by transmission otherwise?
@@TomsCoffeeCorner
Unfortunately not! Here’s a video on a Delonghi transmission repair: th-cam.com/video/HZ8oQUGtPjc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MVwcL6hYwNEofzPx
Repair shop told us the entire machine requires disassembly which creates potential of other issues.
Thank you so much for all your videos! It was really helpful when you shown that philips didnt make real espresso so i went for DeLonghi instead, and I finally decided and i bought the Dinamica Plus 380.85. 😊
Your reviews helped me get the machine I need and I'm really enjoying it. Thank you so much !
Yeah the plastic everywhere in coffee machines freaks me out too ;( perhaps there would be less plastic in sage machines?
This bothers me too ugh, impossible to escape from
But just a question, by polyphenols do you mean polyfluoroalkyl?
@@charlenefrank9985 Sorry yes you are right, I meant phthalates!

Thank you 🙏🏼
We've had a De Longhi Eletta Cappuccino TOP for a few years now and, other than the fact that one of the nozzles doesn't work properly, we love it.
I got the middle one (without the BT App) a couple of months back. Best gadget I`ve bought in a long time. A mug of 2 bean strength using either Sainsbury own blend, or Machu Pichu beans, is perfect every single time.
Awesome, thanks for sharing!
you are the best in the field ...thank you for all ur effort ♡♡♡
Thanks brother. Great job 🎉
This review was very helpful. Will definitely get the Dinamica Plus. Thank you!
Thank you
This is absolutely fantastic review. Thank you very much

Thank you. What would be the difference of the 2024 Model on the Evo? What is your take on it?
Thank you very much Tom! Amazing explanatory video and helps me a lot about my decision
This video really helped me to choose these models, thanks!

Thanks again
Brilliant Video, which handheld camera is it you use?
Awesome presentation May I ask where do you get your fresh beans from and what type do you get please. Thanks a million
Hi, I use these ones: martermuehle.de/products/m-espresso
Otherwise, check out my blog article: tomscoffeecorner.com/what-are-the-best-beans-for-espresso/
What happens when you want to switch out beans in these machines? Do you have to grind the ones close to the grinding mechanism or does this come out and you simply dump remaining beans back in their bag?
Do you use the same espresso beans for every drink including regular coffee?
Thank you for the review, I'm trying to compare these to the Philips range, but looking at you videos it does seem that these are a better buy.
Really helpful. Subscribed
Hi, does anyone has tested the magnifica Evo Next ?
Thanks !
Super helpful! Thank you!
What grind setting number are people using for a good grind on mediocre beans?
Very nice video and very much appreciated! You are getting closer and closer to a Jura machine :). I would be very interested to hear your opinion about Jura.
talk about the Magnifica Plus...
It's indeed normal for a bit of water to end up in the drip tray. Happens on most machines.
@AmokD3 Yes, it has the Dippio+ option.
@TomsCoffeeCorner Thank you. I forgot to say it makes very good coffee. I use grind setting 4, I'm going to give 3 a go.
Hey Tom, I love your content! Could you do a video comparing Jura with Breville or Jura with De'Longhi in the future?
I know, I have to do Jura. Still waiting to find a deal on an E6 or E8 somewhere.
Learned a lot. Thank you

How do they perform with plant based milks?
Interesting! Thank you ! Anything particular that sets it apart?
Magnifica plus is great and half the price of others

Thanks Tom great video
As always great review ! I have been thinking about getting the Elletta Explore. But I don't care for cold drinks so I can't justify the price. I would love to see you doing a review on the Gaggia Cadorna Prestige. Thats the machine I'm thinking about buying since it's around $700 and has a lot of great features.
Nice review .regreats from Portugal.

@@deborahkhoury534 you betcha, thanks for watching!
Can you please do a review of the Jura Ena 4 and compare them in terms of quality and reliability vs Delonghi, Saeco, Gaggia, etc.?
Thank you so much. Huge fan here.
Excellent comparison!
So cool! I am going to stick to my good old faithful ECP 😎👍🏽 great video Tom ☕️
@@FaithAndCoffeeBean Great decision! That’s where I’m at after going through 4 Delonghi Super Automatics! One can fix em and they’re affordable 😂😂
@@BJH-r5s what is ECP?
Now looking at 3 delonghi machines. These are here in Thailand rather affordable. They are:
- Magnifica Evo ECAM 290.81.TB for about 970 Eur
- Dinamica ECAM 350.55 for about 1070 Eur
- Dinamica Plus ECAM 370.95.T for about 1350 Eur
I like black coffee and espresso. My wife likes cappuccino.
I used to have the smallest Jura but it broke down and where I live service is difficult and it was not repairable. So time to change.
For the rest, I don't care about features. Would be nice to easily clean. And just great taste of coffee. Any suggestions
Do these machines make better coffee than the semi manual ones like the Opera?
Thanks. very helpfull video.
Great content as always :)
Other than for the dual hopper, how similar to any of these machines do you expect the new Rivelia to be?
Well, the Rivelia has a slightly smaller brew group, as the machine itself is smaller. Should still do similar doses though. I have the feeling the Rivelia will be similar to the Dinamica Plus.
mine small Krups does 7g, i press the button twice and thats it.
My Magnifica Evo has a doppio option
I love my Dinamica Plus
What grind setting do you use?
Great review and video, but I'm surprised that you forgot to mention that the EVO also has a double espresso feature that gives you the maximum strength possible of 14-15g, same as the Dinamica and the Eletta. You simply hit the X2 button and adjust the volume accordingly.
Are you sure about that? I thought the double espresso button only doubled the water with the same amount of coffee on Delonghi.
I have the eco. ( cheapest one ) love it. 1.5 year old. Need to replace milk pipe inside milk jug, but struggling to find it. Anyone any ideas?
Hey Tom, I've been really enjoying your new uploads, but more importantly, I've also learned a tremendous amount since watching your older videos. Do you think you'll be doing a full review of the Magnifica Start?
Hi there! I did a truncated review, since it's essentially the same as the Magnifica Evo: th-cam.com/video/d5niedTxpY4/w-d-xo.html
Let me know what you think. Too short, or is it ok?
@@TomsCoffeeCorner I had watched the video, and I made this comment because I thought it was a bit short, but now that I've watched it back again, I think a fun video idea would be to do a comparison of both machines since they're so similar. magnifica sounds like it is catching its own gears while grinding the beans. we have a sage at work and grinding is so much quieter, even more so than the other 2. Eletta is more similar in sound
How warm does the milk get on all machines?
Excellent, thank you!
Is there any difference in how loud each one is during the grinding process?
@@wdshields Not in my perception, no. I didn’t measure them, however.
@@vkempen88 I would agree to all those sentiments. 👍🏻
Hi Tom,
Wondering if you can advise on the difference between Dinamica vs Dinamica Plus.
your reviews are amazing.
Thanks.
Great video!
WiFi is gimmicky and wouldn’t connect on my machine so pointless anyway.
Do they make silky milk like when you use a steam wand ?
It depends on how good one is at milk steaming. I can steam silkier than these machines can provide, but that wasn't always the case. It's pretty darn good milk foam that these machines provide.
Could you do art latte with the texture of milk froth in Eletta or Dinamica plus? Thanks!
Please tell me how you got the evo expresso so good what grind setting?
Tom would you buy a Dinamica plus or a Rivelia?!!!
I'd get the new Magnifica Plus to be honest.
Can you please explain why you would chose the magnifica plus over the dinamica plus?
Thank you!
I have a cheap Melitta coffee machine and it makes 16g pucks just like their top of the line model, the main difference is the amount of recipes.
Oh snap! Which model is that?
@@TomsCoffeeCorner Passione OT, I bought it for 400 Euro
Great video! I have the Eletta Explore, and love it! What confuses me, though, is the "2x espresso" option. Because that one also makes two espressos from one bigger puck. So what is the difference between that option and Doppio+?
To me, the 2x Espresso and Doppio+ are the same thing.
Love your reviews. I love the Dinamica and the eletta. There's a way to make to-go coffe on the Dinamica? And a way to make the milk come out cold from the dinamica? Cose if that's the case I may choose the Dinamica Plus.
The Dinamica Plus doesn't do cold milk. But for togo, sure you could just tilt and hold a travel tumber there if you want.
