A weakness that Steven is overcoming in himself and on her behalf as he faces the fallout of her glory and blunder. Seriously, she rather started a catastrophic war than deny her sisters outright and stand her ground. And in the end she engineered her own demise twice to escape the impossible situations she had navigated herself into. So repeating history is the stakes, not the foe to overcome. The final boss is responsibility. Only when Steven can take on this responsibility dropped into his lap and the Diamonds accept their part in this tragedy (they messed up from their own perspective insofar as they did not really listen to Pink or see her conflict but just made it harder for her to express her dissent, driving her into desperate measures), will the underlying conflict be resolved.
But it is an interesting theory, and a very plausible one. If there's one thing I can say about this show it's that everything has a meaning. Everything shown is seen for a reason. No one takes Ronaldo seriously, but what if he's actually on to something? Not all of his theories have been wrong up to this point.

Introducing one into the story would only detract from the core conflicts of the show, that being Steven's relationships with his friends and family. The cannon Gem history as we now know it works as a dramatic tool because it eventually ties itself back to how every character behaves in the present. A new race of aliens do not, and even if the writers were to include some makeshift backstory to interweave them into the plot, their involvement would ultimately seem contrived due to the lack of foreshadowing. There are already enough tools in the fiction to craft decent entertainment, and we don't need to pull a Xeno Ex Machina to do it.

There's likely all kinds of things we've overlooked. Ronaldo's sneople theory does make at least a little bit of sense if you really think about it and try to break it down. The diamond on the dollar bill meant something in the way of foreshadowing, so why couldn't the snake?

The reveal of the Diamonds was a mystery worth investing in because they were implied to be the upper echelon of Homeworld, i.e. the force the Chrystal Gems fought for thousands of years. Any knowledge gained regarding the nature of that hierarchy gave direct insight to the kind of troubles that effected Steven’s loved ones. If we were to entertain the idea of Sneapole actually existing as some separate future threat, then we'd risk losing that emotional core, and the series would suffer as a result. The reveal wouldn’t be an appropriate dramatic tool for the needs of the show, literally the only evidence supporting the claim is ONE picture shown in ONE scene in ONE of the beginning episodes on ONE dollar bill, and the guy who highlighted said picture also thought he had psychic powers, could take on the Cluster with a katana, and that he had captured a snerson when it was really Steven in a cheap costume. I support agree with the theory of another alien race and would to see where the show would take this.Personally I dont think season 6 will be the final just a large season for the show.I just see season 6 clearing up a few things and maybe a backstory story on pink will a possible arival of Bismuth or I'm hoping Jasper. With my Mind And My Imagination that would be so cool. The show could turn into a more sci-fi series, it would be better than him just hanging around on Earth.
What if the diamonds were like this, White Diamond being the mother figure (tallest and gemstone on the head), Blue and Yellow being twins (so close being the same height and gemstone placement), and Pink being the younger sister of the bunch (gem placement and height and behavior)
It always felt that the gems were a very militaristic race once we got to know them a little better, but the way they were 'made' also felt very artificial, making me think they were originally created as weapons by another alien race. Given yellows disdain for organic life it perhaps they turned on their creators (you know, like almost every other weaponized sentient AI in fiction) and are possibly still fighting with them.
I love the idea of there being an overarching plot that we have no idea about yet. And when the show finally ends, thinking, “remember when the only threat was the diamonds and the crystal gems were looking for corrupted gems on earth? Such a simple time.”

And what shocked me the most is that she was so old, and she was good. The gems being at war with another race makes sense of the cluster's existence. They're just testing it on Earth, and they're gonna use it on the other guys.

After watching your vid I've thought about this and my conclusion on the 'new enemy' is thus: The Gems' *True* Creators! Yes-yes we know Gems can be created by injecting 'gem seeds' into planets and using the resources to grow Gem Soldiers. So who made the Diamonds? The Gem race as a whole are classified as 'artificial life forms', as in a not-naturally occurring race. If all Gems fall into this category (minus Steven) then this means the Diamonds in turn were created by ... *SOMEONE ELSE* 😱😱😱 But of course the Diamonds didn't like being ordered around so they broke away from their past and became their own society completely independent of their creators (I know this is almost certainly wrong but I keep imagining robotic aliens working like hell to create the original Diamonds). It's just a little speculation that came to me while watching this video: Maybe this Snaple creatures were experimenting on earth, and Pink Diamond was sent to investigate. After this she discovered the human race and all the life on the planet was the result of such experiments. Later it came to the attention of the diamonds that the Snaple were conspiring behind their backs and so they went to war (maybe this is why yellow was so ancious to obliterate the planet and all the Iife in it).
The thumbnail convinced me that there's a Red Diamond that is actually male, the only male that's 100% gem and a villain, maybe even to the other Diamonds. This has also been questioned if there's someone else like Steven.

I feel the other alien race White Diamond is fighting are the Metals, similar to the gems but rather than thousands of the same type of metal each is their own unique entity. The metals (Titanium, Iron, Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, Silver, Gold, ect.) each have their own strengths and weaknesses, they're strong enough to take on a thousand gem soldiers, whilst durable enough to survive the next thousand with minimal injury. They were created for the sole purpose of stopping the Diamond authority on their conquest of the universe by Black Diamond. Please feel free to add to this idea.

The secret enemy might that organic race yellow diamond was trying to wipe out on the planet just beyond the jungle moon, but at the time they weren't an enemy before; I mean let's face it's practically Yellow D's fault that The Earth isn't the only debacle Home World has to deal with.
When Yellow Diamond found another planet with tons of resources, yet filled with possibly an organic race that may have stalemated them in an all out galactic war, she tried to colonize it any way, letting that war happen.

It always felt that the gems were a very militaristic race once we got to know them a little better, but the way they were 'made' also felt very artificial, making me think they were originally created as weapons by another alien race. Given yellows disdain for organic life it perhaps they turned on their creators (you know, like almost every other weaponized sentient AI in fiction) and are possibly still fighting with them.

Before Jungle Moon I had a dream that White Diamond was lost the whole time, and then the other diamonds founded her at one of her first colonized planets. And what shocked me the most is that she was so old, and she was good. Amd after watching Jungle Moon amd seeing all the posts about White being a grandma to Pink and all that, it left me shocked cause I remember every time I dreamed about Steven Universe and it coming true..
Now, two nights ago I dreamed that the diamonds are being controled by this big green guy. Not really controled, it was more like he was their leader, and I don't remember him having a gem but he was green and evil, and White was to him like Pearls to the Diamonds...

Yes-yes we know Gems can be created by injecting 'gem seeds' into planets and using the resources to grow Gem Soldiers.
So who made the Diamonds? The Gem race as a whole are classified as 'artificial life forms', as in a not-naturally occurring race. If all Gems fall into this category (minus Steven) then this means the Diamonds in turn were created by ... *SOMEONE ELSE* 😱😱😱
But of course the Diamonds didn't like being ordered around so they broke away from their past and became their own society completely independent of their creators (I know this is almost certainly wrong but I keep imagining robotic aliens working like hell to create the original Diamonds).
So yeah, I'm placing my bet on Blue and Yellow amassing resources to help White Diamond who is away going to war with Gemkind's original creators!

It's just a little speculation that came to me while watching this video: Maybe this Snaple creatures were experimenting on earth, and Pink Diamond was sent to investigate. After this she discovered the human race and all the life on the planet was the result of such experiments. Later it came to the attention of the diamonds that the Snaple were conspiring behind their backs and so they went to war (maybe this is why yellow was so ancious to obliterate the planet and all the Iife in it).
The thumbnail convinced me that there's a Red Diamond that is actually male, the only male that's 100% gem and a villain, maybe even to the other Diamonds. This has also been questioned if there's someone else like Steven.
But just a theory tho

this is what i think should happen after season 5 we get serious steven back (by still funny lovable steven) and he hears about white diamond how white diamond is in a war against the snake people (DON DUN DUN) just kidding it would be the new main villain black diamond the opposite of white diamond but more strong and instead of black diamond using normal gems he/she use corrupted gems and white diamond recruits steven but because steven is more serious he left the other crystal gems back on earth and went alone with a small army like maybe some rose quartz and his plan is to fight and heal the corrupted gems and stop black diamond and later in that war it turns out that black diamond launched a attack to earth and steven heads back to only find out that they captured amythest flourite and bismuth connie and maybe some other people like sadie lars and they all go to hide out while steven and the crystal gems/jasper help teach steven (sapphire also got captured) ruby and pearl adventure to save them they see amythest but she's corrupted and steven has a heart to heart and heals her and sapphire is brain washed to be black diamond slave and lars sadie and the others are captured Steven ruby and pearl fuse! and defeat black diamond with steven full power heals black diamond and turns out to be a red diamond after a couple months steven become the procteter of the UNIVERSE with his army healing the corrupted gems (while still being goofy) he goes back home to find out that because of everything that happend he more of a adult and connie is to and like that steven and connie have a baby but steven chooses to sacrifice his gem to his baby becoming powerless but he is still a great fighter and have some of his powers left and like that steven says his goodbyes and set out with the diamonds into the universe. to fight and he would come back when his son or daughter is 12

I feel the other alien race White Diamond is fighting are the Metals, similar to the gems but rather than thousands of the same type of metal each is their own unique entity. The metals (Titanium, Iron, Cobalt, Nickel, Copper, Silver, Gold, ect.) each have their own strengths and weaknesses, they're strong enough to take on a thousand gem soldiers, whilst durable enough to survive the next thousand with minimal injury. They were created for the sole purpose of stopping the Diamond authority on their conquest of the universe by Black Diamond. Please feel free to add to this idea.

I believe that before Yellow and Blue their were other diamonds. Maybe they came out supper defective and White shattered them, or the diamonds themselves were shattered. I feel like the first option is the one I agree with most.
