Hey, Don from At Your Site Storage told us about your channel. That’s pretty awesome. I have some Axial 1/24 RC crawlers for me and my kids that are pretty fun. Cool video!
Hey bro, nice to meet you 😊 Don, has been an awesome friend and very supportive of my TH-cam channel. So it's a real pleasure to meet you. I'm glad you liked what you see, I also have a few scx24s great small rigs. It's definitely one of the better RCs to get out with the kids and have fun. I'm really glad you like the video and I hope to see you again. Thank you so much, and I hope you have an amazing Sunday bro ✌️😉
Hi, Don’s wife here. I love both channels- RC fun&games, and Ginger+giant ❤. Don and I just returned from a trip to visit Ryan and his family- across the pond. Amazing vacation and wonderful family ❤❤❤
Sorry for the late reply Jonathan! just been a bit under the weather! I really appreciate that, I also think they turned out great. Definitely an awesome spot, I could spend days there as there's so many different lines to take. I will be back there soon again ✌️😉 Thank you so much for your awesome support 🤜💥🤛
Thank you so much dude, I really appreciate your awesome comments! I am very impressed with these control over the truck, I'm going to see if every weekend he'll come out with me to get some footage. It's comments like this, that really make it all worth it!! so thank you so much bro! Have a amazing weekend ✌️😁
@@usmileeveryday definitely I'm hoping one day that my TH-cam channel will become his. And with all the knowledge he will have compared to me when I started! Will be very handy. Indeed bro I love the time I get to spend with him trying to conquer some really tough lines and teaching him the best ways to approach the obstacle to succeed. From when he was little I have always persisted about crawling slowly and now he's really got the hang of it. It truly is a pleasure to take him out and get some footage he knows exactly what to do 😊 I will see if he will join me on the next unboxing so his face can also be seen again 😁
Great video. Congratulations to your little assistant who is very young and pilots very well. I love the jeep, I have this bodywork but I never managed to adjust the shock absorbers properly, too much tork twist and when mounted it tilted backwards.
Thank you so much bro, your comments are truly awesome! And I will let my son know that you think he did a good job ✌️😉 I also think for 5 years old he's doing extremely well! What length shocks did you use for your build? 53mm or 59mm I stopped going for the 59 mm shocks because of all the torque twist trouble they cause. The springs provided are too soft even if you fit the harder ones. And with a body as wide as the Jeep! the torque twist is even worse!!! I am running 53mm shocks with original Traxxas springs. Also if there's any binding on the drive shaft it also makes the vehicle tilt from side to side as all the pressure it takes to turn the wheels causes the body to lean. So check these few things! I hope this helps 😅
@@rcfungames Thank you ... have a rest of your weekend ... btw if my comments slow down for a while ... we just had our first child so we are learning to be parents. :)
I find it AMAZING just how detailed these RCs have gotten over the past 20+ years. If you have the sound off... It's pretty hard to tell they're just RCs. Kick ass filming brother.
That's what got me hooked in the late 80s was how scale, the Tamiya Toyota Hilux looked!! Since then I always dreamed of having scale RC crawlers, so of course in my later life I have to start building some awesome scale looking rigs. And just like you I am blowing away at how amazing such small crawlers can look! Thank you brother I really appreciate it! 🤜🤛
Hello Bro 👋 Thanks man, I really appreciate it, it is such an awesome spot for these small Crawlers! I tried my best to keep stable on that very forgiving terrain. It is so difficult to climb up the side and get back down without shaking. So I appreciate the comment as I was worried about the quality of the footage. I'm glad you like the music it is so difficult to find copyright free music to use on the videos. I finally got myself a real PC so hopefully over this year my edits will even get better. 😅 I hope!!! 🤣 You have an awesome Sunday bro and thank you so much for all your support 🤜💥🤛
@@rcfungames You are welcome bro! It was so interesting to know the history of making footage of this video. And I am well acquainted with the problem of choosing music, so I understand you well my friend!
Can you make a update video on the injora 59mm shocks for the high trail ? I installed two springs in the rear (the stiffer springs injora provided and the stock factory springs)and installed the stiffer front springs that injora provides for you in the front aswell. Thanks, cheers.
Hi bro 👋 I stopped using the 59 mm shocks on my builds especially with the high Trail because it is virtually impossible to eliminate the torque twist. Mine is set up with 53 mm shocks and the lcg chassis which provides more than enough Flex on the trail. It is performing so well with this setup! The best recommendation I can give you is finding a thicker spring online, because that is the big issue with the 59 mm shocks. Before I use them again I'm waiting for Ijora to come out with a thicker spring that is stiffer. I do recommend that if you're having problems with torque twist for you to check the video I made on the 53 mm shocks for the high Trail and sit rear right and front left shock with a bit of preload so that you get more rebound which reduces the torque twist. I hope this helps bro! I really don't want to fit 59 mm shocks as it causes too many issues with the front suspension. And the extra droop causes worst performance on hill climbs ect!
@@rcfungames okay great I was able to fix the torque twist issue on the 59mm what I decided to do is put double springs on the rear shocks and single springs in the front and it helped a lot with the torque twist I also used 50WT OIL with 650CST and i set my preload about 9mm down from the top of the shock of that makes sense, try that out on the 59mm it worked great for me.

I did the lcg carbon fiber chassis installation already 3 weeks ago or more. Just look through my playlists on my channel you will find the upgrade series on the high Trail and look for the lcg chassis video. I definitely had a few issues with this chassis but all in all I'm really impressed with the performance gains from it. If you can't find the video let me know and I will share it to you. ✌️😉
Hi Pedro, not at the moment, there still doesn't seem to be any aftermarket bumpers for the Jeep. I will see what I can find out and I will let you know 👍
Thanks man appreciate it and how did you do it so that when you lift the jeep the steering servo dosent hit the frame? My servo keeps getting caught on the frame when I try to run over a rock or something
@@pedroperez-uv1lf are you running the same server as me? If you are, then have a good look at what is making it catch! Because I believe it will be the cable coming out of the server and the rubber boot catching on the bumper Mount that fits at the end of the chassis. What I do is I pulled the cord up and over the server and glue it down with a touch of super glue so that the cable and the rubber boot doesn't catch on the mount and I also take a file and send the corners out of the mount so the servo doesn't catch and take a little bit from the center just to make sure the cable and boot doesn't catch. I hope that helps bro
Thank you, and yes they are performing really well! I tell you it is a lot cheaper to build it from scratch with good parts then it is to buy and then upgrade! But yeah I know the feeling! These things are like money magnets!!! Lol 🤣
