- Its a warm day, and the trucks are ready to go head to head. I have cleaned my rig since the 2018 TTC (Top Truck Competition) but seem to have a glitch that was unidentified until I began my run. I was still able to get through it with a respectful time.. but it certainly hurt my ability and predictability with my truck. My buddy Steve had a great run.. also struggling with some repositions, roll overs, backups and so much more. This is a challenging course.. and is not meant to be easy.

Why are some people so offended by how others spend their money to have fun? I have REAL 4x4s too, but, I also just spent a few dollars of my own to buy a couple of RC cars for my twin 3 year old grandsons. Sure, they didn't cost much, but, I know that they'll have fun with them. I'll also have fun watching them play so it's worth every penny. There's also a new project in my shop that arrived a few days ago. It involves my nieces Power Wheels Barbie Camper, a Harbor Freight 6.5 horsepower gas engine and a pile of steel tubing. She outgrew it as a Power Wheels, but, she'll have fun with her Barbie Camper go cart when it's finished and I'll have the satisfaction of making her happy. It's only money, have fun, and if you can, let others have fun too cause life is short!
Same here just got 2 free rc 4x4s for my nephew a few months ago and he loves them they dont controllers but he loves them still and is 2 years and makes the engine noises

Yes I've made it this far and I'm lovin' it! I'm a 59 year old kid and I still play with R/C trucks and slot cars of all sizes, both digital and analog. Not even a waste of time nor money! When one of my 3 daughters was 18 she made fun of me when she saw my " toy" digital SCX slot car track and then her and the 2 older sisters proceeded to race for 2000 laps before taking a break! Hey Dad, this is really cool she then said! LOL

I'm beginning to think that scale RC courses are far more difficult than full size events.
Back when I used to compete in full sized RTV club trials, our club instigated a rule that if the course setters couldn't clear 70% of the gates and obstacles then gates were either changed or removed until they could. A bit soft maybe but it prevented excessively difficult courses
Except for the fact that after real races you're pissing blood and repairing parts worth more than the car. This does look like a lot of fun though.
These vids are so satisfying to watch... I can’t wait to get into this Hobby more!

So excited to say i just purchased my first trail truck today. I picked up an scx10 ii honcho. Thanks for the great content medic, you’ve gotten me so excited to learn this hobby. My son is 5 and is very excited as well. (He’s getting a deadbolt for Christmas but doesn’t know yet lol)

Great Footage, I came across your channel searching ideas for a outdoor trail .. i am new to the hobby I recently purchased a small 1/18 Scale crawler all the obstacles I made inside is way yo easy for it .. looking at your trail I sort of know what I want to add to mine and how to build it thankyou for the great video

I just was looking into the Dodge Power wagon body today for my crawler. Nice to see it in action, fun times, wish i had a place to do stuff like that.
