Today our beloved TC A.K.A. Tank Commander Chellby Bragg is back, and he is going to react to a very known game Arma 3.
Is it realistic? Can a tank get burned? And many more questions to be answered on this episode of Experts React.

Arma 3 is an open-world realism-based military tactical shooter video game developed and published by Bohemia Interactive exclusively through the Steam distribution platform. It was released for Microsoft Windows in September 2013 and later announced for macOS and Linux in August 2015.

First Thing he mentions - Antennas - Well, I can tell you the two fat sticks are the AN/VLQ-12 CREW Duke Anti-IED System - Crew-Duke is a Wide-Band Spectrum Jammer for Radios and Cellphone's used in IED's and was included in all Urban OPs vehicles, its pretty much standard equipment now for MRAP, Abrams, Bradley, STRIKER, and LAV. Crew-Duke is a short range jammer that only affects the immediate area so that the receiving detonator is taken out of service and not blanketing an entire area.
The small pole in the middle of the storage rack on the rear of the turret is the Crosswind Sensor which ties into the Firing Computer for the 120mm which measures wind speeds and directions for the computer to plot a fire azimuth, elevation and windage. the 2 whip antennas are your basic HF and VHF Radios and if i recall correctly EPLRS Radio is combined into one of the two.
I don't know how much he knows about WW2 tanks but if he or a historian, etc. Reacted to Steel Crew, that'd be cool. It's a VR and Non-VR WW2 tank combat game. Still early in development, made by a single dude, but super fun. It's best in VR of course.
think they should keep him with the modern vehicles, his WW2 knowledge is kinda sketch from the previous videos

@@recorepro Yeah, but I don't think the tanks are fully modelled inside? I don't know, I've never played it in VR with tanks. I don't even play the game anymore.

Damn. Looking at his picture, this dude looks like he became tank commander at 16 and retired at 21.
I like how his focus in what the players are trying to do as realistic as possible, rather than point out of all the things that a game cannot accurately portray.

maybe a game he could react to next time which maybe would make him interested in would be Gunner, Heat, Pc.
It has realistic Voicelines, fire commands, models of tanks and penetration of different shells and different shell types
He should definitely try reacting to GHPC :)

The game had a few weird crosshairs which were never explained. I think that one of them was the commanders view of the T72. It was a giant grid.
T-72 would be a modded vehicle not vanilla Arma 3
@@DNS-Freakz I can't remember what exactly I played, but I don't think that it was a mod. Maybe, it was Arma 2?
@@edi9892 Yeah most likely Arma 2 then because Arma 3 is set in 2035 and beside a wreck model of the T-72 it doesn't exist in vanilla.

I am a lieutenant in the navy and I never even thought that a tank (armored coffin) could become a crematorium in our time.
aurgh!! I hate that glitch... XD tree in the middle of the road, never bump that it got strong collider, I had my LAV III driver strangle for that because he bumped it we flew a miles away ( still alive but shakin )
Arma 3 players and other games like it are prolly one of the most dedicated mil-sim people online
I don't mean to correct this guy but do you know how many times in history tank commanders have made shots with their turret pointing sideways? Sometimes you don't have enough time to stop and position your tank to face the front forward to the position you're attacking to
That’s true. If he talked more about it he might have mentioned that it’s almost a last resort and shouldn’t be a go-to tactic, that it’s situational.
Also getting shot into a fueltank creating a massive explosion? this guy countinues to say questionable things each episode

If you want to be blown away by realism then GHPC definetly isn't it, Steel beasts will take that crown easily
Ghpc has almost nothing good in terms of tank mechanics only the voice lines are good

Arma 3 has more realistic tank on tank/tank on infantry combat or more realistic strategic tank gameplay than war thunder. Probably even better than squads even. Such a nice thing from a game made in 2013.
Absolutely better than both of those games in realism. Although I like them, people who claim Squad or Warthunder are “most realistic” or “true simulator” either don’t know about Arma, haven’t gotten a true grasp on it, or have no idea how far you can take its capabilities. Largely due to the unstructured multiplayer component of Arma, or their lack of experience in the editor or with experienced communities. And if you know about the history of the developers other simulator, which Arma is based on, which a normal civilian cannot buy, there wouldn’t be an argument that Arma is the truest sim.

Gamology I have a request.Can you get a real military pilot to fly helicopters in ARMA 3? I want to know how realistic the flight physics are.Not appearance or weapons.I want to hear their comments about how they feel the movement,maneuverability,sensitivity of controls in different phases of flight.Specially how maneuverable is a helicopter on it's YAW axis in mid flight,can fast moving helicopters gain altitude just by pointing nose up without using throttle..etc.Thanks

That’s a big statement for an early access indie title. Beyond it’s realistic and dynamic AI crew audio I don’t see it being overtly more realistic than Arma 3, especially modded Arma 3. GHCP looks like it could be soundly solid at release but it’s really features and mostly physics that make a simulator realistic.
@@Slayer119988 Ya and Arma has like 6 modules for their vehicles hull, engine, fuel, gun, ammo etc. You can't knock out a tank by killing the crew you can only make them dismount or you destroy the hull and the tank blows up with the crew. In GHPC you can totally knock out a tank by killing the crew and leaving the tank mostly intact, you can shoot individual rounds of ammo in the enemy tank knocking them out in the end GHPC has much more fidelity than Arma 3 could ever have even with mods. the next best simulator tank game I would say is IL-2 but that is mainly a plane game then probably War Thunder

yes spotting is one of the commander's jobs but ideally everyone should be alert and aware of their surrounds
@@ham_the_spam4423 Well only the commander can see out of the tank in all directions. Gunner can use Hunter/Killer cams, Loader is blind unless he peaks out, driver can see in front + maybe a camera.
The fact is most of the vehicles & uniforms with the gear you see here aren't made by the developers, they were made by the modders of the arma community...... for free.

I would like to join with him to telling him about WW2 Tanks yes I am WW2 Tanks biologies. but I know he already watched World of Tank, war thunder but to be honest I just want to tell him about old tank if you know what I mean.

I'm curious if you the tank commander try Valkyria chronicles and advance wars and your team mate friend tries rebel star tactical command it would be quite an experience and try world of tanks and bolt action and commandos behind enemy lines and brother in arms and Mario party mini games that let you use a tank and their is this one Japanese game that starts with letter Q and is another tank video game. And their's megaman legends and a 3ds game I unfortunately can't remember the name of that game and their is this toy tank that kids can ride then their is this rc tanks and there is tanks boss battles in metal gear and there is a TH-cam video about a weapon that scares tanks!

the arma community has alot of military and vets in it. their knowledge drops down to other players as well. lots of base brats too haha. its a community that also has a toxic side due to actual members or ex-members being annoyed. you do service time you get it lol, but its a game in the end. semi casual/semi-sim communities are your best mix when you get the game mechanics down. lots of fun but arma games always takes a shit ton of time of your day haha

The fact that this runs on low graphics is very realistic. ARMA3 has good graphics but runs like ass, so nobody actually plays this game on ultra, lol
