Denver Broncos STUD Continues to Be Overlooked...

- The Denver Broncos have an ABSOLUTE STUD on their defensive edge that continues to be overlooked. Pro Football Focus (PFF) just released their list of the top 32 edge rushers in the game and somehow left off Baron Browning. This is infuriating because we saw in real time last year how the Sean Payton 5 game win streak was a result of the pressure Baron put on quarterbacks. He missed our first 5 games which is part of the reason we went 1-5 to start the season. Vance Joseph raves about him, Zach Allen says he's "as athletic as any outside ‘backer I’ve played with." Justin Simmons says he is "Von-esque" and Vance Joseph raves about him.
Let me know in the comments who you think our sack leader will be this year and how many they will have! (We haven't had a 10 sack player since Bradley Chubb!)

What they fail to realize is that #1 we were getting used to snow system defensively? + we're starting a new QB whomever wins the job n training camp? But once all the questions have been answered, we will go on a 3+ yr AT LEAST!!!

Browning has not been able to stay healthy. He has 9.5 sacks in 28 starts. That's not going to get anybody's attention because he's been here for 49 games, 11 of which he entirely mikssed & 21 which he didn't start. I happen to agree that he's on the verge of stardom IF he can stay on the field, but we have to see that happen before we worry about what he's ranked by some writer at PFF. He's not ranked by them because he hasn't PLAYED. It's hard to rank every player on every roster if they aren't starting most of their games.
But to your comparison with Joey Bosa...I don't think that's a valid comparison. Aside from the fact that these guys play different positions (DE vs OLB/Edge) Bosa has actually done things in the NFL. He's been to 4 pro bowls & has 4 seasons with double digit sacks. Against Denver in 12 games he's posted 7.5 sacks & 18 QB hits, numbers that make him marginally better against us than he's been against the Raiders or Chiefs, & approximately as good or even better than what Von Miller posted across his career on a per game basis against either of those teams. So I would say Bosa has been a problem.
All that aside...I would actually prefer it if we had not moved Browning to edge. I think we have better edge rushers than we have ILBs & Browning was showing promise at the ILB spot when they moved him. He is the super athletic talent in the middle of the field on the 2nd level they could have used to both rush the passer from the interior on blitzes as well as the speed to cover tight ends. To me that would have made him more versatile as an ILB, but since he has been moved, we need to see consistent production which means he's got to start more than half the games like he has been so far.

You do realize we had a top 7 offense last year. Wilson was trash and was just breaking up the plays and we literally have had the best defense for a decade. I think you need some research
