I know this term is most often used about RBs, but it seems that Crum has no contact balance. To me, him making the initial 53 was among the biggest surprises.

Frank crum biggest surprise they must see something in him worth the investment. Sad that tillman did make the 53 man has a great motor.

I'm changing my prediction from 9-8 to 6-11 due to our cuts. Patrick, Badie and Virgil should have been on the 53. Rebuild, Rebuild, Rebuild!! :(:(

I hope a lot of those guys return on the PS. I mean Brandon Johnson, Jalen Virgil, Jonas Griffith were on the team last year. LJ Humphries might as well have been. I knew it would be hard to see some of these guys go. I'm glad they went with Nate Atkins. It seemed like a luxury to keep a guy for his FB roll. Now we have FB, TE, SP rolled into one player. In all fairness, Burton may have been a ST player also. I'm glad we kept Jordon Johnson (do I have his name right?) I thought he looked like a man among boys in the preseason game against Arizona.

Tim Patrick reportedly signing with the Detroit Lions. Glad he's going to a pass-heavy offense like the lions, I'll definitely be cheering when he catches his first td pass in 2 years.

In my opinion, I was most surprised by cutting both Tillman and Incoom. I thought they would keep at least one of those players. The former Saints (Burton, Throckmorton, and Humphrey) a.k.a. the Payton guys getting cut was also a little surprising. Not quite as shocking, but still a little disappointing, were the cuts of Badie, Griffith, B. Johnson, and Virgil, but they can only keep 53. I think it may be likely that some of them may return to the PS. Also, keeping 4 TE (I know Adkins is also a FB) was a bit of a surprise. Crumm making the squad was not expected.

My son says the Broncos are improved, but have a lot of players who are what he calls "potatoes". He means average guys who can play OK but can be interchanged with others that are common in the league. IMO, Perine, Mathis and a few of the safeties are in this group- OK and we hope they develop.

See what happens when you dont make great plays...you get cut....stiff competition here at broncos country.

I was definitely bummed that Patrick is gone. I was cheering for him to have a great year after everything he has gone through.

Vele is guaranteed a spot, he was Sean's guy who he drafted and he had an a great camp. I believe they should carry 5 WRs -- the starting 3 of Reynolds, Sutton and Mims, complimented by Brandon Johnson and DeVaughn Vele. Johnson's been good, made big plays for us the last couple years.

Fans need to get past potential of and emotional attachment to players. The Broncos had one of the weakest rosters of any team in the NFL. They have a solid core of player but as you get out to players past say #40 on the roster the next man up isn’t as good as past Bronco rosters. Sean Payton is loading the backside and well as infusing new starters. This is not the 2023 team with a new paint job. It’s a different team built from the skeleton of the 2023 roster. Given the pace he is building the roster, Kansas City won’t be the powerhouse of the AFC west for much longer.

I really like tim Patrick but I was worried about his injury history and I'm sure that had a lot with him being cut.

We all know this is a what have you done lately league, so this is best when the Broncos are in full rebuild mode. Paton is building for the future and not just for the right now. TP has been injured 2 years in a row, and he made some good money while healing up, so he has been treated very well. Youthfulness is the new path forward, and they have some good talent at the position. Go Broncos!!!

I was a real Stidham guy but I could see on his face at the Cards game that he was feeling really out in the cold after Wilson was played for the whole game on Sunday, and after a few bad plays early on Zack came to life and killed it..And All the boys lost this week will be picked up by someone or practice squads because Denver is OVER BURDENED with crazy tallent..A testement to how Payton is picking em..
