MICHELIN FOOD IN HONG KONG, worth it?

Is the Michelin guide really all that? We tried a couple of the Michelin recommended restaurants and then some of the restaurants recommended on different websites and articles.
We found that almost all of the Michelin guide Restaurants are actually on the same street, while Hong Kong is such a big City with variety, this seemed a little, weird.
One DimSum is definitely the best Dimsum I have ever had in my life.

Yes I LOVED the custard buns! I never had them before and now I order them every time at dim sum
