I don't understand why people opt-in to everything when they set up their devices. My Poco X6 Pro has zero ads, I didn't use any debloater or script, didn't follow any guide. I just used my brain to opt-out at setup.
Just read the license agreements, the checkmarks specially, see if they're optional, opt-out of everything 'personalization'. Don't enable Carousel Wallpapers (that should be obvious from the warnings).
yeah with the new hyperos update you are not forced to use the wallpaper carousel now
I've bought the X6 Pro, removed the bloatware with Universal Android Debloater, changed the OEM apps with third party open source apps like for gallery, wallpaper, video player ect. Use dns.adguard as Private DNS and disabled the msa. Even though there's no night mode on the phone setting most apps can be set to dark mode on the apps setting itself. The app drawer background can be set to dark mode too in the App drawer setting. I turned off the App Vault too. So far not a single ads problem.

Really love the new Poco phones. Definitely one of the best value for money phones out there. I have the F5. Im set for 3 years. Now,I know there are bloatwares out there,but u can uninstall those. But the total package that ur getting with the price is really amazing.

Those ads can be disabled or make them appear less than usual.. just turn off receive recommendations of miui apps,let's say for example file manager.. go to settings and turn off recommendations.. also,turning off ads service from settings>password and security>ads service then turn it off.. hope it helps..
😅 for upper tier yes.. i use poco f2 pro before.. i turn off all recommendation.. and it still show.. using adguard and disable msa.. help a bit

If you upgrade to the X6 Pro, you'd get a stronger processor (better speed), and higher res display. Speakers and haptics are comparable to the F3. These are not usually items that differ significantly.
The only problem for me x6 pro using Dimensity=no custom rom.

The ads can be turned off once you spend enough with the phone itself. I've the same problem and I get rid of them.
I still get the ads after turning off MSA and personalized ads. What else do you have for me? Do share!

Hi there brother. Would you think in terms of the front & rear cameras the new Poco X6 Pro is far better than last year's model and the Nord 3 with skin tones, dynamic range, white balance, low light and video recording capabilities?

I have a poco x6 and cannot find a magnetic 360 degree full bodied cover case. The poco x6 pro has availability. If i buy a cover meant for the pro will it fit the x6? Im thinking probably not as they are different in size and headjack. Please advise!

I am using X6 5G and I have not seen a single ad that he showed in those screen recordings.
I love Poco. Yes in my F3 there's ads if i use phone cleaner. And that's the only Poco stock apps that I use.
4:50 these ads are genuinely beyond invasive, and severely lower the percieved quality of the phone. Like seriously, an unskippable video game ad when opening the default music app is crazy form xaomi

@@SWY1356 You can turn them all off. But some major updates/specific app updates may turn it back on again. 'Turning off ads doesn't work' can be a subjective thing LOL
But you can remove the adds in the settings of the app(s).
I feel that if have a choice better get a phone without Ads. I have Poco F5 and F3, the experience is better on F5 as without Ads.

The last great Poco phone was the legendary Poco F1. Heck, some people is still using this true flagship killer of the past until today, with custom ROM, replaced batteries and Gcam. Until today, can't really find Poco phones as good as the first one. Sigh.
F3 is great too. I moved from f1 to F3.

Yes f3 is okey..im using it..f4 was kinda a bummer in term of design but still comes with improved camera (ois) and faster charging speed..then come f5..truely near flagship level..and f5 pro with 8+ gen 1

I've lost faith in Xiaomi phone quality. I've owned two Xiaomi phones. The first one (Mi Mix 2S) developed numerous problems after two years. Then i buy another new xiaomi phone (Mi 10 Ultra). Within a year, numerous issues arise. From dead touchscreen areas to yellowish screens, occasional lagging, freezing, and more. After experiencing these problems, I opted for a cheap second-hand Sony smartphone that was two years old (Xperia 1). Now, in my third year of using it (the phone being five years old), it still runs smoothly and quickly, although the battery has weakened considerably.
There are still ads littered here and there even after turning off the ads settings. Ridiculous

All ads can be disabled. It will take about half hour but it can be done.

Thank goodness my Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium has no Ads. I suppose because it's using HyperOS (China) and not Global Version. So the baked in Ads don't activate because I'm not in mainland China physically.

Yes, First remove all non necessary apps that are pre installed.
Second, check the settings of each xiaomi app for “ads” or “suggestions”
It takes less than 5 minutes total to turn all the ads off. Or you can just wait for them to popup and turn them off accordingly.
Should i give my poco f5 to get x6 pro?

The poco X6 pro has different image results than the poco X6 and that is because the poco X6 pro has a different chipsets. the chipsets are responsible for taking photos.

My friend bought one Poco X6 pro (12 + 512GB) for about RM1420 and plans to sell me (if Im interested) for RM1200. Brand new out of the box, he hasnt even boot up the phone. Still wondering to take him up on his offer or nah
Are you able to completely disable adverts, as you can with existing Poco phones? I.e. switching off MSA, and all recommendation settings in system apps. A phone with permanent ads, is a non-starter for me.
After switching off MSA and recommendation it's still there.
@@LimReviews Wow. Would you be able to test if changing the phone's DNS to a free ad block DNS, such as Mullvad's DNS, has any impact? You're the only reviewer making note of the adverts. Not sure whether it's region specific, other reviewers are simply not mentioning it. The X6 5G you showed looked almost unusable, with that level of popups. Thank you for all your videos.

@@Carol...... MSA is MIUI System Ads. In MIUI, Settings, Password & security, Authorisation & revocation, switch msa off. Open each Xiaomi app and switch off Receive Recommendations in its settings section. This will eliminate ads appearing, in that app. As mentioned by Lim, it might not work with Hyper OS.

I have to ask but between yhe x6 pro or the f4 gt which would be better viable option for gaming? Now i do plan yo get the 12/512 vatiant on x6 pro but only the 8/128 on f4 gt but its just for ml, cod, and farlight

I have been buying xiaomi phones for years because they offer great value, but the whole ad situation is reason for me to not buy any of their phones anymore. I get the ads in some of their own apps, but for the system apps like changing the wallpaper? that is just ridiculous.

Poco X6 Pro user here, yah it's nearly a flagship phone for me but the big problem is the phone is easily heat specially on fps games, I don't know if it's only on my unit but please give me some advice on how to improve this, it is disturbing for me.

I don't think I will do a comparison. The 13T would win hands down. It's in a totally different league than these.
