It is a primitive sensor, even my 2+yr old realme 8 (16k₹) has it. They will never optimise it.
Dont even consider this phone if you have even a slight intrest in camera 😊

Screen on time is very important for me. It helps to check the battery condition also because we nearly have the same usage daily and it also helps us reducing our usage.
Hey Ershad! I would love to see a camera comparision with realme gt 2 since I own one, and heard that it has pretty good cameras. It's nearly 1.5 years old , comes with sd 888 , also got 3 years of software support (will go till android 15). After watching this review I was taken aback how vfm poco one.
Glad I found your channel on Yt. Really good reviews. So for me as a Samsung fan from day one, I have to say: I didnt know how good "POCO" has become, WOOW and then this price. Why should I go for a S24 and pay 3x times more??? Because of a little bit AI, better camera??? Nah, they lose one customer, this x6 pro is enough and the quality of snapshots is also ok. Im not a pro fotographer, so I can live with it. Nice job POCO.
Yeah I open the camera only on special occasions like birthdays, festivals and I don't focus on details, I just need good looking photos😂

This chipset, ram-storage type and hyperOS(android 14) combination should be there in Redmi Note 13 pro plus to justify the price.
For me sot is very important mainly because I'm on online classes, watching news on youtube, social media etc

Poco is good in performance the only thing am worried about is its durability i used X3 which lasted for a year and right after that i was facing problem with the display it use to turn black time to time while touching on certain area and then eventually it was completely black 😂 even when i never dropped my phone... This kinda scares me to switch back to poco again i really need some suggestion on this if i should go for it or not... As i belong to a middle class family buying a phone which hardly last for a year worries me.

@@shreyasshetty1587if you are referring to redmi 13 pro, no poco x6 pro annhilates 13 pro its not even a competition. 13 pro has 7s gen 2 with an antutu score of 7 lakh whereas poco x6 pro has dimensity 8300 ultra which has an antutu score of the 1.4 million. this score is comparable to snapdragons flagship 8 gen 2. Poco x6 pro giving this performance beast in this price range is a real deal breaker.

Screen on time is equally important as fast charging as the more you charge, the more charge cycle is used up and thus the battery degrades faster.
Nowadays batteries have more recharge cycles like 2000 cycles.
If phones has 1000 cycles then
1 day 100% charge is 1 cycle. So you can charge up to 1000 days (2.7 years) to get battery health to 80%.
If we charge the phone up to 80% in 1 day then we can extend the battery even more.
My readme phone is 2 years old and it's battery health is 87% now. So I guess nowadays the phone battery has around 2000 cycles I guess. So it's nice.

@@arpansarkar9294 Yeah. Nowadays Chinese flagships have batteries which can withstand up to 4000 charging cycles. So before degradation of battery we mostly change our phone.

Screen On Time matters but there is no sure shot way to measure it.
Although, measuring battery drops and the temperature after using benchmark tools, can be a good indicator. So is playing heavy games. For this, we need a baseline.
Another important thing is idle drain. Usage will vary but if a device can run for long while being stressed by a heavy application can give us a rough idea about battery life.
A few months ago, the motherboard of my Poco X3 Pro malfunctioned. When I took it for servicing, they suggested a motherboard replacement for the seemingly modest price of 12k.
Same happened with me few days back

@@jakabudiman5124 there was some quality issue from the China market where poco received the motherboard from, so the POCO X3 pro's motherboard was dead after poco started rolling out updates but after X3 Pro there were none known cases for POCO's motherboard dead issues.It has been 3 years after that incident but there are still some youtubers who are trying to gain fame by always talking about motherboard issues.If you don't believe me you can see for yourself by looking at the reviews from amazon,flipkart or even youtube.And about mediatek,it is just a chipset maker just like Snapdragon and if you are not into using custom rom ,you won't have any problem using Mediatek processors.

you can still track the screen on time in hyper os using the digital wellbeing , given u start the test charging it over night and starting the usage of the phone once u wake up

I have the poco f3 gt and it's been great. But I broke the back AND the front glass so I am looking for an upgrade. Between the redmi and the poco I will definitely pick the poco. However, I am waiting to see if the iqoo neo 9 pro will be significantly better in camera department.
Bro I also had the poco f3gt and I recently switched to 13 pro plus if you left the processor part it's better in every segment from poco x6pro

@@gunsofboomforever9309 performance is adequate in both for gaming. If you want a more premium design and feel, better cameras, go for neo 7 Pro. But the poco will have much longer software support, about 1.5 years more and 2 extra Android version updates. Poco also has a higher resolution display and it's cheaper.
My suggestion is to wait a month for iqoo neo 9 pro. It will be under 35k and will have much better cameras.

I feel ip68 is very important for my usage , I am using moto edge 40 and the ip68 helped me several times in heavy rain that i couldn't avoid it and in terms of curved display its all subjective after using a curved display for 4 months literally i hate it because of accidental touches and service rate is to high !!!

Phone reviews are getting so frustrating, can't distinguish between advertisement and unbiased review. Reviewers focussing on +ve of phones for too long and skimming over shortcomings. Please be honest with your viewers
For me, the camera is crucial, and I've noticed that Redmi and Poco phones gradually underperform in the camera department after 6 months. So, if you ask me, I genuinely think it would be a bit of a letdown due to inconsistent camera performance, which can be attributed to wear and tear in the long run. In terms of performance, this phone could sell like hotcakes for people like me who prioritize gaming and bit of smootness. However, if it had a better camera system, this would have been my next phone. 😢
I happily used redmi k20 pro for 3 years, and switched to k50i.. but felt that the camera sensor is not good. So switched to redmi note 12 pro and using it for the last one year... I picked these phones for camera... Using gcam, I am totally satisfied with k20 pro and note 12 pro.
they focus too much about performance and dont care about camera either, they just put "big" number then prove that they has better camera sensor.

K50i has a better processor and specs why would you compromise all that for note series though? Also k20 is still a fine device, I am sure it still can run smooth in 2024

I switched from k20 pro to get a 5g device. I wanted to take good pictures and I am not into gaming. So I had to compromise on performance and go for note series. I still wish they had given a capable sensor on k50i, at least the one they gave on k20 pro. If 5g is out of the consideration, k20 pro would still be a very capable device to this day.

It was already removed in MIUI 14. So it's not actually a HyperOS thing.

European here. I had been using poco x3 pro for the last 2 years and I was disappointed by the last 2 generations. This time I bought it at day 2 of global release. I was questioning much the choice between poco x6 series (if and when would they come out at that time, a few months ago) and redmi note 13 pro plus. What redmi note has over the x6 pro? Curved glass for more premium feel and IP68 protocol for just 60 euros more. However, as much as known, they get rarely and at low quantities sent to other countries. Camera-wise I think even poco is better than not e 13 pro plus as redmi claims to have 200MP camera, when in fact it is only 50MP with digital upscaling.
TL;DR
Choose Redmi note 13 pro plus if you don't care about CPU much and want to have premium features such as IP68, curved glass, digital upscaling.
Choose poco if you know how to protect your phone well and if you want a real solid all-around phone, which I consider to be more for enthusiasts now.
