Hello dear, i am a 23 civil engineering and i really want to continue my study to have a master and maybe a PHD after that ,I just want to ask you about the transportation and traffic engineering if you recommend it to enter this field of civil engineering i mean does it have a place and opportunities in the future, do you advice me to to take this step or no and thank you.
Hi, I think there will be opportunities in the future because transportation networks are always in need of improvements and maintenance. The amount of opportunities will depend on where you reside and how much focus the region is putting onto it. My advice is to also consider if transportation and traffic engineering is really something you can have an interest in and feel motivated to get up and work on throughout your career. I would recommend it because I do enjoy working in this industry but that wont be the same for everyone.
