    • @amanmanojpreeti
      @amanmanojpreeti 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +119

That's not a misconception. It's a fact. It's always better to have another opportunity before you leave one. Otherwise, the level of stress you will be facing after leaving your current job will be many times greater than the level of stress you were having while having that job! If in case it's not the same for you, then that's an exception where you can leave your job first and then look for another one.

I was harassed from day one in the newly assigned Client project. I was told no release will be given, instead disciplinary HR action will be taken for not following official timings as the client has escalated it. Hardly anyone was following it anyway but I was only one being cherry picked. Keep in mind 11-12 hrs of work doesn't matter to them + 3 hrs travelling, Saturday work. Can't take leave, have to use only comp offs as leave will affect their billing. When I said I will come by 9am then leave by 6pm everyday, the response was- you will get that kind of appraisal. I resigned today in a messy way & there is a very high probability that they will make my notice period hellish as possible. In India, these big MNCs are practising Modern Day Bonded Labour. I feel pity for those who can't muster the courage to end this slavery. IMO, Self respect should be paramount!

No. 4... My boss harassed & compelled me to get higher levels of qualifications, of which I happily wanted to do anyway , but then she accused me of only furthering my education so that she'd have to pay me more. Hearing that confirmed that my boss is toxic & that she wants the highest standard of work & employee, but she just wants to pay them an unfair bare minimum.
I told her that it's not working out that I remain her employee & that I wanted to leave.....
My new employer appreciates my efforts for her & she compensates me fairly to make it mutually worthwhile for both of us & I couldn't be happier.
Our work life is too short to put up with an employer that wants to psychologically & financially use & abuse us & if we put up with it we are just hurting ourselves. Thanks for the video.

All 5 of your points are valid ones and I can vouch for all of them to be true after I learnt about them the hard and bitter way. My manager and supervisor in my company where I worked 10 years ago had got an unexplainable friction with me inspite of I being the top performer for month on month for over three years straight. I would get the highest amount of appreciations but no monetary or even leaves benefits in the organisation. Infact, inspite of being the highest performer, they conspired along with the supervisor and the HR to even throw me out of the company. The company was Hewlett Packard before the split. Now look what has happened to the company and the part of the organisation where I worked was so unceremoniously spat out from the parent organisation to become what is today called DXC with all of its brand value gone and even those managers left without anything to feel proud about.

I've left on time, or so I thought, but they made it so toxic during my notice period that I had an anger burst... I highlighted everything that was wrong and called out the 'personal bullying' that I've gone through...So - I've done everything right until it wasn't possible anymore... We're only human... I wanted it to be a "manager hand-shake" exit, instead most of my colleagues walked me out of the office building and my manager and I didn't greet each other... Ah well... I moved on to a senior management position at a different company. It's going well. DON'T be too afraid to say what you think, the right company won't care about what a petty manager thought about you at a previous job... However, really practice when you get an interview with a new company... Focus on the next thing more that on your current situation.

#1 happens very often - it is so common in industry these days, that it is very hard to avoid this kind of situation since it is out of your own control. Sometimes you have to sit it out a bit. But not too long, correct! #2 occurs often with supervisors who say the opposite of what they actually do. It often follows this pattern. Try to move on from such person. #3 is also called minimizing. Was once in this situation and left by myself before something worse could happen. #4 is often in conjunction with supervisor behavior of having favorites - few favorites get all the credit where others are (ab)used to support them. If two ore more of #1 to #4 are currently present at work - often they come as sort of combination -, get out of there.

Most of the companies even do the same with their interns as well; at the end, they behave like... I've got no words, now I scared to apply to any other company....
If I feel the company has not behaved properly with me,As intern... do I have any right to legally complain against them ?

    Mine was
    1. Keep taking on more and more projects without increasing the number of employees.
    2. Delays the promise 6 month evaluation/increase. Or if you only bring it up.
    3. No pay for overtime. But decreases your salary for tardiness.
    4. Compulsory be available anytime. Else, you should inform hin of your personal schedules during rest days just so he knows that you are "busy"
    5. His use of the word "family" is just soo weird for me everytime.
    6. Does not orientate you or discuss with you additional tasks you will be taking after a colleague left. He terms it as "help" and if you didnt help him, you become the bad guy.
    7. Your coworker is his son. And he does almost next to nothing. So you get the brunt of his work.
    8. His son's mistakes are yours. Because he cant get his shit up to tell off his own son as the boss.
    9. Randomly creates rules that is not written on memo nor been implemented before.
    10. Offers minimum compensation and tell you that you will be gaining skills and learning to equal it.
I should really leave. Sigh. Writing this made it open my eyes wide. I just find it hard to leave because my coworkers have been very kind and me leaving will then result to a lower number of workers therefore jampacking them with work. 😢

My boss, scouted me when i was with our last job and took me to start a new project for a new business. Its going good and im happy to see the results.
But recently i was asked to lead a team again, which i half expected and im ok with that, but i just found out the guys im to oversee are either paid the same as me or at its best paid $6 phr more than me and it could be even more.
I know i do and have done a great job for this group, example - i wrote our end of year or fiscal report and based solely on that report we had an increase in our business approval from 700k to 1.2m for the delivery of this service for the next year. Well it was a big part of it.
My dilemma now is, how am i to lead a team who by pay comparison are more likely my peers or my seniors, as anyone in the world will agree your payscale reflects your value, your qualifications, proven skills and experience. So by that criteria im overseeing people who are my seniors in this business?

Number one happened to me but I was one step ahead of them. I had a vendor where I worked who I know very well. The vendor informed me the manager where I worked told him that you will not have to worry or see me much longer. The vendor also told me if anyone told him that they would be looking for another job immediately.
Then the department head did a performance evaluation behind my back, and made the mistake of posting it online in my human resource file which I also have access to. The review was supposed to have my signature, and there was none.
At the same time, my hours were cut drastically so all my hours income was going to cover the taxes, and benefit cost. This left me with no income at all to pay for food or Bill's. Someone at human resources said they had it all planned to only give me enough hours to cover the cost of the benefits. I already knew that.
When we were told our hours were cut, and I was only getting enough to cover my benefit cost, other coworkers who also had hours cut were at work working when they were not on the schedule. They were working their regular hours, and the schedule was made up so you would think they were being cut, but in reality they weren't being cut.
I had two weeks of cut schedules in front of me. The next two weeks then came out, and I had the same schedule with 6 or 7 hours for the entire week. My hours went from 35 to 40 per week to 6 or 7. I went home, and applied for other jobs right away.
Two days later, I was offered another job with a competitor with a 15 percent raise. I accepted the new job, and laugh every time the paycheck is deposited into my bank account. I gave my former employer two weeks notice, and they just removed me from the schedule entirely. Since then, I haven't been back.

hello ma'am, Thanks for sharing this information...I realized that I am caught up in a sweet trap :) . I have delivered three projects as a team lead and still I am getting paid less than ppl who joined after me. There is no hike at all since I joined the company, it's been a year already
