I am familiar with that roundabout and used to drive thru there with barely any deflection.
I know, right? Hopefully we will fix that and make it better.
Hey Byron! Happy to see you back on TH-cam!
Hi! Thank you. Glad to be back!
Hey Byron! Fellow transport engineer here! Keep up the good work. 😊
Hi Susan, nice to meet you! I see you have your own channel. Keep up the great work on sharing your updates :)
Thank you!
Hey Byron great to see you uploading again! I was wondering since you are doing Transportation engineering now, could you share anything about working for like BART, Caltrain, or Amtrak? I'm in community college right now pursuing CivilE, but the industry I've always wanted to work for- would be something involving the railroad or train transportation. Just sharing a thought for a vid!
Thank you! I have never worked for a public transit organization, so unfortunately I don't have a lot of experience to talk from. I'll have to do more research to see if there is a topic that is doable. I'll also be on the lookout if there is someone I can interview or have as a guest on a video.
what is the difference between transportation engineering and planning?
There are a lot of differences but also some overlap. I do have a video on my channel about that if you want a more detailed answer!
Byron, I’m new to your channel. What college did you graduate from?
Hi! Welcome! I graduated from California State University Sacramento. Go Hornets!
@@ByronTang awesome. I also go to a CSU majoring in civil engineering.
Any advice on internships or jobs I could apply for (part time) while In school?
My goal is to work for a city as a traffic engineer
