Overall, this game was a dream come true. Just being able to explore a fully rendered Hogwarts made it worth the price of admission on its own. The game certainly isn't perfect. Some story beats didn't entirely land and I couldn't help but feel that some characters were given a bit more love in the writing room than others. But the game was a joy to play and I actually do plan to play through the game entirely three more times as each house. I'm just crazy like that. XD With how successful this game has been, I have no doubts that this will be a stepping stone for even more Wizarding World games to come. I hope the same team gets to work on all of them because I trust no one else to give the world this much love and attention. It was so refreshing to see a development team respect the fans, listen to the fans, and genuinely love and respect the lore of the IP they were working with. Give me DLC. Give me Hogwarts Legacy 2. Give me Illvermorny Legacy. Give me Quidditch World Cup Remake. I want all of the Wizarding World video game goodies that can come down the pipeline!
Good to see you posting again. I agreed with a lot of the points you made. Even with some of the negatives I am enjoying the game a lot and I really hope they do some DLCs to expand on the world and what we can do.
I just finished the main story. The story is okay. Exploring Hogwarts is 10/10. Combat is fun. Flying is decent. Side quests are a bit boring. I hope they make a school life dlc or quidditch dlc. As a Harry Potter fan it is a 10/10 experience. As an avarage video game enjoyer, it is a 7.5/10 experience.
Definitely a big game as far as I can tell, although the map doesn’t seem all that big in my opinion. I’m just waiting for the ps4 version to come out and I just hope that it’ll be good
The game has horrible fps drops on pc and the game overall feels like i’m playing an assassins creed game without the climbing. The loot system is also very underdeveloped. I can play red dead redemption 2 on ultra no problem but this game runs like shit on my pc.
I disagree with the majority of your video, so I didn't like or sub. 1. The game was marketed as a single-player game from day one. We have tons and tons of multiplayer games; and I for one, like to escape the hassle of the multiplayer universe and settle down, ALONE with a single-player game. so I am stoked that this is a single-player game and I do not see any need at all for it to be a multiplayer game. 2. The game is completely immersive. I have played it and have just coasted through the game. Your problem is that your play-through was rushed so you didn't enjoy it as much. Before you say it was not, you completed it 100% in 60 hours; so yeah, you rushed it. I too could have completed it much faster than I have, but I chose to "take it all in" in a slow and steady play-through. 3. DLC will surely come due to the great success of the game, but you have to keep in mind; this game has still not launched on ALL platforms yet. PS4, Xbox 1, and Switch still await their release dates. So at this point, the devs are probably not rushing any DLC until the game fully releases. 4. "How does it stack up against BIG titles?" Avalanche is NOT as big of a studio as Rockstar or Bethesda, so who cares?! This title is a complete home run for the smaller company and a complete dream come true for the HP fans that have waited years and years for a game this immersive and a game at brings the fan into the shoes of the witch or wizard of their choice. I think this game is MORE amazing and MORE awesome than any fan could have dreamed of or hoped for! 5. I like your other videos and I think you are pretty fair, most of the time. But I think you are pointing to some things as a "negative" when they are not. It is a matter of opinion, really. I prefer to "soak it all in" and take my time, not beat it in 60 hours. I chose to dive deep and fully immerse myself into this game ALONE and live out a fantasy as the "hero" of the wizarding world, not push and press for multiplayer. There are so many multiplayer games, but this one is best suited as a single-player game so that you can dive in ALONE and by the lone hero. The fantasy is much better that way. Thank you for your opinion. I found it entertaining and I surely respect you as a person and respect your view, I just don't agree with it so much in this video. I have waited for 15 years for an HP game like this and I am super excited to be able to enjoy it, ALONE. :)

@NightlyNerd_ I just did the Poppy mission with the dragon. I am taking my time and doing side missions and looking for chests, etc.

The map is definitely large but it feels a bit empty which makes it feel significantly smaller than it is!
