I think thematically Slytherin makes the most sense to the story since Sebastian would be the first student you meet, and his story is by far the deepest quest line that honestly feels better than even the main story
Eh... I'm not so sure about that. Playing the game as a gryffindor I started off disliking sebastian because he was arrogant. And when I was forced to interact with him, he started to slowly grow on me until the minute he sacrificed himself for my sake. Suddenly, all I cared about was making certain he was alright. It's perfect enemies to friends or enemies to lovers kind of fare. I love that kind if thing.
As a Ravenclaw I really enjoyed the banter with Sebastian as we explored catacombs. The witty back and forth, snapping teases at each other was one of the truest "friendship" moments the game had to offer. " You're not a bad chap'...for a Slytherin" / "For a Ravenclaw you have yet much to learn".
Played the game as a Slytherin. And throughout that quest, the MC goes kinda like: I don’t understand what’s with Gryffindors with their adventures! We Slytherins can be loads of fun! And then Sebastian will be all like: We are the most fun! It was a funny interaction 😂
Love the bickering! In Hufflepuff its like " You're not a bad chap'...for a Slytherin" ''Ahh, there's that Hufflepuff loyalty you're so well-known for.''
I liked the banter as a Gryffindor, because it was a nod to the Gryffindor Slytherin house rivalry that was prevalent in the books but never appeared in the game. "You're not a bad chap, for a Slytherin." -"You Gryffindors don't have a monopoly on bravery, you know?"
RIGHT! They really dropped the ball not having more house exclusive quests with house exclusive legendary gear. HOPEFULLY, there will be a sequel title in the future and the devs will implement this
I like Ravenclaw too, I'm always curious about the guys that get the least attention, ya know I watch wizard of oz and always wonder where does that red brick road lead, best battles in stat wars are the ones you don't see leaves more to the imagination.
@@BenjaminSnow One downside of Ravenclaw is that in the very quest you mentioned, we aren't able to retrieve the wand, it shows a bunch of splinters and Jackdaw's dead body, even the character says this.
Hufflepuff got the objectively best version of this quest, but I’m going to maintain Slytherin is the best house in the game simply because it make’s Sebastian’s plot much deeper. The friendship between you, Ominis, and Sebastian feels a lot more genuine when you’re all in the same house and seeing the group fall apart hits home more. It’s probably the best questline in the game because it’s essentially “what if you had a core trio like in HP but Ron Weasley slowly turned evil?”
I appreciate how this storyline really hammers home that the road to Askaban is paved with good intentions. I was onboard at first, but once I saw Sebastian using Imperio, I knew it had gone too far. In my Slytherin playthrough, I'm going to be exploring the darker side. Power at all costs.
😭😭😭 this. My character just be standing there like ‘can I please just learn these curse spells’ All while my boys are constantly fighting and I just want both to be happy 😭😭
I did Ravenclaw, and what really bugged me was the fact that the quest ended without having me bring the wand back to Ollivander. As if the game was like: "Oh right, the famous wand that Ollivander wanted back to bring peace inside his family! Meh, who cares?"
Must've been a bug. I finished the quest. He accepts it, even though it's damaged and not very powerful, it's still a family heirloom with great sentimentality.
For me, more than visiting Azkaban (which is honestly pretty quick but interesting anyway), I particularly liked how Hufflepuff's quest felt more like a true ending. It's the only version of the story in which Jackdaw discovers about Anne's fate, and the only one in which she's proven innocent.
For anyone that's upset about Azkaban being a Hufflepuff inclusive and is thinking about playing Hufflepuff only for this reason - You're inside of Azkaban for maybe 2-3min before you talk to a old lady in there and that's it. Don't get me wrong, the atmosphere is pretty nice but other than that you're not missing out on much.
As a Hufflepuff I was so excited to go to azkaban and actually see even a small part of it but when I went to tell my BF about it he was a RavenClaw and had no idea what I was on about🤣 we didn't know each house had its own stuff at the time
And no one wants to go to hufflepuff for some reason. I am sure that devs knew hufflepuffers would be the rarest type of players so rewarded them with chance to get to azkaban
To me it's obvious that each house would have different stuff & u could learn different powerful spells depending on the people u met from the house that u choose .
Jackdaw's quest was quite interesting from each House perspectives, as it basically challenges your values. Your daring nature for Gryffindor. (Stealing for a friend, and participate in a ghost party) Your intelligence for Ravenclaw. (Solving a puzzle) Your cunning nature for Slytherin. (Negotiating with an elf for favors) Your sense of justice for Hufflepuff. (Bringing justice to a broken woman)
I will say, Jackdaw did say he thought Anne left him and was heart broken(that is why he was traveling the world after he died). So didn't know she was even accused of killing him. It's definitely got a Romeo and Juliet vibe going on. Bad communication will be the death of us all :)
@@BenjaminSnow I most definitely feel sorry for the poor girl that was arrested for his death. Imprisoned for a crime she didn't commit and then slowly dripping insane. That's a sad way to go. To make matters worse is that after the quest is over and we realize how he actually died her crimes are still not exonerated at all and she's still there in askaban
@@adamdailey6675 When I completed the quest as a Hufflepuff, I did get a note saying that the retired auror recovered and that Jackdaw's ghost promised to work with the Ministry to exonerate Anne. Poor Anne's mind was broken years prior, though. All they can do for her now is free her and give her somewhere safe to live and be nursed back to some degree of health.
@@RanMouri82 In that case the wizard world does have magic that can fix the sanity of those that have lost theirs and even though she lost all those years she at the very least will hopefully be able to live a comfortable rest of her life
From a story perspective, I liked Gryffindor’s quest because it made sense. But it would’ve been cool if all the Houses got their own special location to visit that isn’t revisitable. Like Ravenclaw could’ve gone to Diagon Alley, Slytherin could’ve gone to The Chamber of Secrets, Gryffindor could’ve gone to Godric’s Hollow, or possibly a house could’ve gone to the Ministry of Magic HQ.
They low key did it with them, except Gryffindor. Cuz you go into a secret cave and the very upper part of the Owlery with Slytherin and Ravenclaw. But I agree, would’ve been cooler if they brought us to more iconic locations
I am in the middle of doing the Hufflepuff version, thinking everyone gets to go to Azkaban 😂 and now seeing people complain that Hufflepuff gets the cool version all I can think is "Aww man! I missed out on a ghost party?"
I've played up to at least the Map Room as all four houses (Ravenclaw is my main playthrough and the only one I've 100%). It was really neat seeing the different angles of this quest told from the four perspectives. I liked all of the quests with them ranging from good to great. I'd rank them as follows: 4. Ollivander's Legacy (Ravenclaw). While I am disappointed that I have to put my house's quest at the bottom, I only do so because it is the shortest and least complex of the four. You only solve one fun little puzzle at the Owlery and it's over. But it does have some nice details about Ollivander's family and the scene with Jackdaw at the Owlery is pretty fun. 3. Scrope's Last Hope (Slytherin). I put this at the third because, like with the Ravenclaw quest, it is relatively simple. But it's a little higher due to getting some more interactions with Scrope, learning more about the Black family, being able to explore the hidden grotto, and the fun reference to the Hogwarts giant squid. 2. The Hunt for the Missing Pages (Gryffindor). This quest was surprisingly beefy in size (pun intended). You get lots of time with Nearly Headless Nick, you get to explore the kitchens and talk to the house elves there, and you get to meet and play a game with the Headless Hunt. 1. Prisoner of Love (Hufflepuff). It's crazy just how good this quest is. You get some more worldbuilding of the wizarding world and the Diggory family, you involve yourself with a very interesting and tragic murder mystery plot, you get to visit Azkaban prison, you get to see Dementors and the Patronus Charm, and you have a really tragically creepy scene of talking to Anne. It's a dark and complex quest and, clearly, was my overall favorite of the four.
Well said! This might as well be in a video haha but yeah about Ollivander's Quest I like how they mention an uncommon wand for Brits. In genreal I'd love to see/learn more of stories like this in Hogwarts Legacy
We got cakes, we got fruits, we got tea, we got a secret room and we are next to the kitchens. The common room is more like a comfy home for us Hufflepuff-Students. And we got a defense system on our entrance barrel. One false knock or in the wrong house and then it's doused in vinegar.
Wow... I played through as Slytherin and 100% the story. I do think that being a Slytherin makes the most sense for the overall story and many side quests. As detailed as Sebastian's storyline is it wouldn't make as much sense for him to be as trusting of an "outsider" with all of his own and the Gaunt's family secrets. Watching this video now only makes me want to experience Azkaban as a Hufflepuff.
The only other house that might make sense is Hufflepuff actually, as there is often a stereotype of Hufflepuffs "adopting" Slytherin. Kinda like the extrovert adopting introverts, in a way lmao
One additional thing to consider for follow on playthroughs is that witches get to see the entire common rooms while wizards do not. The Gryffindor common room is fairly movie accurate, but for the wizards is incredibly small compared to the other common rooms until you realize you can't go to the witches section, and there are lootable chests in that area. So just something to consider for a second playthrough.
This is because, if you remember from the books, witches could go into the wizards’ room while they couldn’t go into the witches’ room, because, according to the founders of Hogwarts, witches are more trustworthy. It’s cool that this detail is in there.
@@brahma_mama8475 Oh I absolutely remember that from the books. I just thought I'd point it out since it looks like most players in the game hadn't considered it. This way for a second playthrough they can experience their full common room if they picked male for their first playthrough.
I played Ravenclaw and then Hufflepuff and I freaked out after Azkaban thinking I'm suffering from memory loss. That was before knowing the main story is actually the one that differs and not some side stuff! Great video, thank you for tying everything together! Love the portrait of Carlos, they need to put it in game!
Oh I also played as a Ravenclaw first and now I'm playing as a Hufflepuff. I thought Jackdaw was just an idiot because I had only played as a Ravenclaw and if you only know that part of the story you only think he died trying to impress one girl
I picked hufflepuff first and it was really cool but i assumed it was available to every house - i figured it was too iconic not to give to everybody but wow! lol the other 3 quests are borrrrrring in comparison XD
I just confirmed that inside the Slytherin common room the upper windows are fully submerged in water, while they are not from the outside. When you trigger the kraken, you see air bubbles going up the round windows. Canonically they should be fully submerged. I think it was book 7 where Harry said the Slytherin common room was at the bottom of the lake (shortly before going to the Malfoy mansion).
@@Lazyturtle1501 I like to imagine alterations were made to the water level or depth of the lake because Nerida becomes merpeople liaison as she wanted and petitions to give them more space underwater
I played full story with Slytherin because i did the test to link accounts and get extra skins, lol, and thought that at least would start a new character in all the houses later. I started a new character for Hufflepuff for no specific reason and the unexpected visit to Azkaban bit blew me away, really messed up story overall.
Thought Jackdaw pursued Anne because Apollonia wasn't receptive for his advances. And then Apollonia after figuring he likes a 'mudblood' decided to split them up and then frame her. Either cause mudblood, jealousy or the insult to her ego I suppose
I just bought the game a few days ago and I chose Ravenclaw because I named my character and modeled her after Luna Lovegood. I am also a Ravenclaw personally so this just made sense. That said I have to admit if I do a second playthrough I may make a Hufflepuff (shudder), just to see Azkaban.
I do admit that's it's nice that each House gets a different mission regarding Richard Jackdaw, but I also think it would have been equally good if those other quests appeared as side-missions so that the main character could learn about Jackdaw's full backstory
Now they need to add Quidditch as a DLC and the abilities to sit and sleep in the common rooms, as well as making the player use stealth around the grounds at night since being out of the common rooms at night as a student is forbidden...those would be very important for truly exceeding our expectations.
I mean... Yeah, that was nice but, it was kind of mendatory for the makers of the game. The game is pretty shallow in terms of RPG elements and choices, so, while I liked that quest too, that differs depending on which house you're in, as many people have mentionned the game lacks more quests or events that are unique to each house. I think the game was a great success to deliver on Harry Potter fan service, and to satisfy occasional and casual gamers experience, but it is actually, as I said pretty shallow compared to many open world rpgs. I can't wait for the next releases though.
I loved the Gryffindor version! Interacting with the house elves in the kitchen, seeing them doing the prep work, hanging out with Nick and participating in the headless hunt was awesome! I’ve already played the other houses and this was the first time I noticed they were house specific quests.
The Azkaban visit was disturbing lol, I was wondering why they assigned it to Hufflepuff. It wouldve made more sense if each different scenario correlated with house traits, like beasts or botanicals for Hufflepuff, puzzles for Ravenclaw, something dark for Slytherin, something brave for Gryfindor etc.
@@katievalentine1779 This. No true Hufflepuff would be okay knowing that someone has been suffering for something they didn't do. Gryffindor's may be known as the brave ones, but get a Puff riled up and they will fight hard to put things right- and won't be afraid to get dirty to do so either. Badgers can be vicious 🦡
I didn't see it in the comments, but the mission 'Ghost of our Love' is connected to this story as well, since you find a love letter from Richard to Apollonia, which guides you to the Forbidden Forest, to a romantic dinner-for-two set-up, and a treasure chest.
Imagine if you could redo the main storyline but with all of your current progress and knowledge, the whole thing would be so much easier, you would have the Unforgivable Curses, Level III Alohamora, your mounts, and complete mastery over your ancient magic.
I'm in slytherin and I honestly love it. There's a ton of unique side quests. Not going into details because of spoilers but I'm happy with my house I linked my account from the wizarding world website so I was able to keep my house and my wand which is awesome by the way
Luckily the one divergent quest is relatively early on. I recommend anyone who loves the game create extra saves with each of the three other houses and just play those until the map room. You'll get to see all the parts that way. Differences after that are mostly just an odd dialogue change here and there, nothing major. You'll even get an achievement for reaching the map room with every house.
I actually really liked the fact the first version I had was the Gryffindor quest. Me seeking the ghosts sounds a lot less random than the ghost showing up after solving something unrelated. Azkaban is the best quest but as a first experience the headless hunt was way more immersive and cool.
Simple solution for me when I finally get the game: Play through once in each house so I can try everything. I like how there's different things to do specific to each house. That way the game has more replay value. (To me, anyway)
I would have LOVED if there was more house exclusive content! It would have made it so much more appealing to replay the game, if it had multiple quests that would play out differently or people you could only meet if you were in another house. Obviously that would take a lot of time to do and would be unfortunate for the people only wanting to play once, but I would love to experience the different aspects but it just (to me) doesn't feel like enough to warrant playing the whole game over 3 more times, which is also part of the steam achievements for the game.
Honestly, I just picked Hufflepuff simply because I can easily relate to all the traits mentioned in it. As for the other houses, not even close. Genuinely surprised Hufflepuff isn't widely praised...granted, I know next to nothing about Harry Potter aside from a few memories of the films.
In one of the books, the sorting hat sings that Hufflepuff 'took the rest' of students who weren't picked for the other houses, so it kinda became known as the "nothing special" house. But agreed, Hufflepuff is awesome!
@@BenjaminSnow I saw a meme that had the four Hogwarts founders talking about the houses "We'll sort the kids in to houses based on their traits: Brave, Smart, Evil and Miscellaneous"
only 1 small quest chain within the main quest line is different for each house. Jackdaw's quest. that's it. everything else that is different for each house is insignificant.
As a current slytherin. It makes the most sense for the all around story experience to be slytherin. Besides the whole Hufflepuff and Azkaban thing. The story flows and makes it more realistic as far as trusting one another between sebastian and my character.
I've seen all the house quests because I had to, can't get the platinum without getting to the map chamber with every house and therefore experiencing all of this. In the grand scheme of things none of this really matters much so you might as well just play the house you liked most before the game. The in game difference is like 2 minutes of extra dialogue with some characters, a 5-10 minute quest, and the house quarters that you will likely spend less than 10 minutes in throughout the entire game as almost nothing happens there and your characters real personal space where you spend a lot more time will be the room of requirement. The difference the house makes is incredibly minimal, less than 30 minutes of house exclusive content in the context of a 80-100 hour game.
And that's a sad thing. I know they could not but they basically skipped the house part. It does not matter at all. There is nothing to do in the houses or for the house or with the house. No points, no major dialouge or story. No friends you can only make this way. Story even makes less sense with some houses tbh. Even in classes (wich are mostly mute cutscenes, wtf) there are always the same kids. Hope they flesh that RPG part out more in a sequel because it was my main drive for the game and I had to get used to it being 80% other stuff and 20% actually Hogwarts.
Hufflepuffs may get to go to Azkaban, buy Slytherins get massively different dialog with some of the most important characters in the game, all of which are Slytherin.
I feel like while you'll have a good time no matter which house you choose I feel like the story and side quests are geared towards a Slytherin or Hufflepuff in terms of the characters the story encourages you to interact with.
If I recall correctly Apollonia and Richard might have been an item, (these this quest where you follow candles to a picnic in the forbidden forest, it's Addressed to Apollonia and signed with R (Richard) However I think they split because I remember a dialogue option (in Ravenclaw route I believe is where I heard it) where Richard says that Apollonia's heart had grown cold. So I think she lost interest in him. So he moved on to the next girl, who was Anne. Not 100% sure if she is a muggleborn but it would make sense that Apollonia would frame Anne because she is one, and because she (Apollonia) would probably be the next suspect.
I have chosen to be in Ravenclaw because I once took a test on a video to find in which house I am. And another surprising fact is that I value wisdom. And Ravenclaw is part of that.
This makes more sense as to why my Ravenclaw best friend who was several hours ahead of me in the game was confused when I, a Slytherin, was feeding toast to a giant squid mosaic lol
I was sorted into Hufflepuff and went with it and discovered the difference when telling my sister *she's further in the game* where I was and she was confused since I went to Azkaban and she didn't for that quest
I feel like Hufflepuff gets shitted on for being the "weak" house. As a Hufflepuff myself I have learned to push that aside and am happy I chose it. I feel the developers thought the same and made Hufflepuff have that special opportunity.
@@BenjaminSnow I also noticed that being a Slytherin is better for the Sebastian and Ominis quest. It makes you feel like a trio and you get the experience of having house friends like in the movies. Kinda wish they built a trust system with NPCs in the game. Would make it feel more realistic and connected than just a solo journey.
I have never been prouder to be a Hufflepuff, solely do to the fact that I got to visit Azkaban when the other houses didn't, and the fact that you get to see Jackdaw's quest line from a different point of view from the other houses.
@@XZ-III I think it's a bit more explained in the books than the movies, but either way, Azkaban is not so much connected to the fandom as it is just to the world as a whole, with it's mystery. It's the best & worst prison out there in the wizarding world. Almost no one ever gets out, rarely ever anyone sees what it's really like, and the dementors are a whole other force to be messed with. A lot of people who have read the books or watched the movies have wanted to get a personal look into Azkaban. It's basically that morbid curiosity
I'm playing as a Hufflepuff and my friends (a Slytherin and a Ravenclaw) are so jealous at me for the Azkaban part 😂 Finally justice for best House 🦡🟡⚫
I got hufflepuff and was so amazed that I went into Azkaban. I had no idea it was my house excluse, besides the story there that is amazingly tragic and sad.
I remember being really mad about the Slytherin quest thing, then I remembered that I finished the game so fast and sped through the story so I could learn avada kedavra 🤣 still would be nice to fight dementors but eh well. Shelved the game until the dlc comes out. Beautiful game 💕🥰
Stuck between Slytherin and Ravenclaw. I love the characters in Slytherin and the common room I also love snakes like a lot (even want one as a fellow pet someday) I love the entrance to the common room so much as it’s honestly the best, but I also love the common room for Ravenclaw but man snakes are awesome so are birds. Very hard choice and the fact Pottermore has me in as a Ravenclaw.
I'd say Ravenclaw, if only solely because - as said in the video - Ravenclaws get their own personal patio. Other than a great view, you can also land on that patio if you're on your broom, because it leads into your common room! (Need to unlock the door to get in there, but still) Only Ravenclaws can land there, the other 3 houses can't, due to the common room connection!
I’ve experienced the Ravenclaw version since I chose that house because I thought it went best with how my character acted through the storyline up until the sorting ceremony
if i understand the trophy stuff correctly. you get a trophys for house your in, making it to certain areas for your house, & can earn a trophy for having a profile for each house in the game.
I was honestly expecting there to be many more differences or at least larger/more significant ones between the houses. Glad there *are* some at all, though.
I’ve never seen any of the HP franchises other than some clips of Voldemort, but I gotta say, Hogwarts Legacy is a surprisingly fun game. I absolutely LOVE the combat. I’m on the last quest and I don’t wanna finish the game just yet.
I got sorted into Ravenclaw and love it, have no intention of replaying again in different houses. Never been a fan of Gryffindor or Slytherin (even though I wanted to be in this house when I was younger 😂)
@@BenjaminSnow I usually identify more with Gryffindor, but my husband said that I'm more of a Hufflepuff. 😅 I guess I'm not as brave as I thought I was (granted, I don't play a lot of combative games and was very flustered and failing in the into trying to figure it out. My husband had a good laugh at that! But I've definitely gotten an understanding of the controls and my nerves now), but at least my husband knows that I'm loyal! Anyway, the very Hobbiton style commonroom definitely put me over the edge. It is just spectacular!
@@RaeBehrs well also Gryffindor isn’t that far from Hufflepuff. In numerous quizzes that I did I’d mostly get Hufflepuff, but sometimes I tend to slip into Gryffindor
Not gonna watch the video to avoid spoilers, but to me it's a big bonus that they are different: replay-ability baby! It's no fun to pay all the houses if the experience is too similar :)
Well for me all houses have unique and interesting stories although some prefer Hufflepuff for having an adventure in Azkaban I don't see much importance in the story each one contains but rather the interest and pride we feel for belonging to the house we have chosen. It's my opinion of course😅 All stories look intriguing but in my opinion our choice of home and family to which we will belong is what matters😊
As someone who made it to the Map Room with a character from each house I'm glad I didn't choose Hufflepuff for the Azkaban quest. It's really a blink and you miss type thing 😆, their common room is one of the best though
I've always been a Hufflepuff Fan, so glad to have walked through Azkaban, very shocked to know the other houses don't get to visit this place, very interesting indeed.
I think it's a bit weird how everyone is over Hufflepuff nowadays. I just went along what the hat chose for me, which was Hufflepuff. The time you visit Azkaban is a very short one, but you can visit Azkaban no matter what house you are in. Just fight inside Hogwards and you will be send to Azkaban, without escape.
I’m a gryffindor and the headless hunt was interesting and he seemed like a lover boy to me from that end just started a ravenclaw walkthrough bc that’s the only other house I was sorted into every other time it’s been griffyndor but now I wanna go to Azkaban😭😂
I took the ravenclaw path, plus i latter found the House of the thistlewood auror, with letters of her past, interesting that you actually get involvet in that in a alternative story, im mostly anoyet you never find his wand that he so wisht you could return to him, on the brightside you get a trophy fore finding the maproom as a Ravenclaw.
Still kind of regret I went with the first choice of the sorting hat, which gave me Ravenclaw, but I’ve grown to accept it. Im definitely going to play as Slytherin or Hufflepuff next playthrough.
As I am watching this, the thought keeps hitting my brain - a jackdaw is a bird that steals things - just like richard does. Thus he has a very fitting name IMO.
I don't regret choosing Ravenclaw the first time at all. Absolutely my kind of vibe and my kind of element. Not to play favorites but I think the Ravenclaw common room is one of the most beautiful in the game.
Choose wisely? I played a good Gryffindor, and a good Slytherin. I started a Ravenclaw who is going to be as evil as they come. When I am done with that I am going to start a Hufflepuff that's going to be good, but still use the curses.
I'm a Hufflepuff and when i did that mission i did have no clue that having a look of azkaban was a unique part of my house experience. Although more than anything, i'm happy to be given the opportunity to known Anne, her History is really sad.
I wouldn't call 1 quest and a handful of different diaglogue options "replayability", but it's the closest thing this game has to variety between the 4 houses. Definitely worth playing up till that part of each of the houses anyways. At least for the achievements.
I always wondered why they never taught us Expecto Patronum when we were in Azkaban. Now i know, none of the other houses went there and i guess it'd be unfair for only one house to get such a spell.
I did Gryffindor, as I am a Gryffindor myself. It was nice to see Nick, he’s a familiar face after all. And I kinda felt bad for him too for getting bullied over not having fully lost his head when he wanted to belong to a group. Wasn’t a big fan of Richard, but it was fun finding his head in the pumpkins. Revelio’s a bit OP on that one XD. I do wish there was more to the story than Ghost bullying and hide-n-seek, though
I bought one of the wands at Walmart and got bellatrix lestranges wand, and the sorting hat first put me in hufflepuff even though I choose gryfindor, I feel like I’m at heart, and destined to be a hufflepuff
Hufflepuffs Unite! We got Hobbit Doors! We are Loyal and Hardworking! And we are the ONLY HOUSE THAT GETS TO SEE THE INSIDE OF AZKABAN LOOOOOOOL :D LOSERS :D

The Ravenclaw common room is by far the best. The fact that is in the sky and it looks so stylish is beautiful.
For sure! Definitely my favorite!

@@ARandomGuyweee yeah..
So true. And I played a female wizard at that. It feels like harry potter trio but Slytherin. Haha
Sebastian is the homie
This just makes me want to play again once I'm finished my first play through.
I did Ravenclaw, and what really bugged me was the fact that the quest ended without having me bring the wand back to Ollivander. As if the game was like: "Oh right, the famous wand that Ollivander wanted back to bring peace inside his family! Meh, who cares?"
Oh really? That’s a bit odd
I know I was expecting something a bit more too.
The wand is basically destroyed and is stated when you find it.
but we didn't even get to tell him. I presumed he'll like to know before, you now, he tried to convince someone else to carry on the deed
Definitely! The in the rest of the houses there were mostly brief parts of Jackdaw’s past

Jackdaw's quest was quite interesting from each House perspectives, as it basically challenges your values.
Your daring nature for Gryffindor. (Stealing for a friend, and participate in a ghost party)
Your intelligence for Ravenclaw. (Solving a puzzle)
Your cunning nature for Slytherin. (Negotiating with an elf for favors)
Your sense of justice for Hufflepuff. (Bringing justice to a broken woman)
Exactly! Also I love that if you play all houses than you will find out the whole story

I will say, Jackdaw did say he thought Anne left him and was heart broken(that is why he was traveling the world after he died). So didn't know she was even accused of killing him. It's definitely got a Romeo and Juliet vibe going on. Bad communication will be the death of us all :)

I've played up to at least the Map Room as all four houses (Ravenclaw is my main playthrough and the only one I've 100%). It was really neat seeing the different angles of this quest told from the four perspectives. I liked all of the quests with them ranging from good to great.
I'd rank them as follows:
Well said! This might as well be in a video haha

yesss this!!

Kinda like the extrovert adopting introverts, in a way lmao
well that is if you help him which i did not
You really did not get the subtleties of the Sebastian Sallow missions or the level of desperation he was feeling
Huh! That’s good to know! 🤔

When you trigger the kraken, you see air bubbles going up the round windows. Canonically they should be fully submerged. I played full story with Slytherin because i did the test to link accounts and get extra skins, lol, and thought that at least would start a new character in all the houses later.
I started a new character for Hufflepuff for no specific reason and the unexpected visit to Azkaban bit blew me away, really messed up story overall.
I love how that difference was just there for players to discover
Well i think they made it like that so that people will replay the game several times to get different perspectives and story lines
Who ever made this game and the multiple quests took time and effort. This game goes to a big level to meet and exceed players expectations.
💯
Now they need to add Quidditch as a DLC and the abilities to sit and sleep in the common rooms, as well as making the player use stealth around the grounds at night since being out of the common rooms at night as a student is forbidden...those would be very important for truly exceeding our expectations.
@@vananon51 definitely would love to see those features added
This game is great just exploring the castle is amazing
I loved the Gryffindor version! Interacting with the house elves in the kitchen, seeing them doing the prep work, hanging out with Nick and participating in the headless hunt was awesome! I’ve already played the other houses and this was the first time I noticed they were house specific quests.
@@magicalme_lissa I love the kitchens!
Guess they wanted to switch it up a bit

I didn't see it in the comments, but the mission 'Ghost of our Love' is connected to this story as well, since you find a love letter from Richard to Apollonia, which guides you to the Forbidden Forest, to a romantic dinner-for-two set-up, and a treasure chest.
Oooooh that makes way more sense now. It seemed so random.

Currently a Hufflepuff, and this quest was interesting. Azkaban was spooky but incredible at the same time!
I chose Hufflepuff blind because I love that house and had no idea other houses didn't get a chance to visit Azkaban. It was such a cool story too.
I'm Hufflepuff. I legit teared up when I saw Azkaban. It was such a surprise & unique to Harry Potter. I'm glad I got that quest line.
Yea, it was big moment for sure!
Oh please slytherin. All. The way
I wish the houses had more quests that was house specific. I felt like it was a cop-out from creating a more unique game.
You also get an achievement for completing every house playthrough
Yeah, Hufflepuff is the underdog 🤷🏻♂️ though we get a cool ass quest!

What Describes Hufflepuff common room is Cozy hobbit

I had a very confusing conversation with my Slytherin friend about this quest 😅 that’s how I found out
@@BenjaminSnow Hahaha, yes Slytherins are known to stir confusion, as they always say "The tongue of a Snake, no man can tame"
I chose it because we already visit the other houses in the movies/books so I wanted to pick something different
I will pick Hufflepuff cus I love the common room and the house itself. I am a gryffinpuff myself so yeah
Thats a mod.
If you just starting playing I suggest you pick whatever u feel like it. I picked raven claws cuz what they stand for.
If you put the game disk in the microwave for 30 minutes it unlocks all the DLCs for free
Lmao
I love hufflepuff common room , feel so cosy and house quest greater than the others.
It’s pretty sweet
I've had a hankering to revisit HogLeg to do some collectible cleanup, but it's so daunting trying to navigate the castle to find everything
I chose griffyndor but I 10000% agree with you. The atmosphere is so serene and elegant, and the lighting is amazing.
@@maddiehail7991 I've only ever had a problem with the ending no real consequences for your actions in game. You do far worse than Sebastian.
I didn't know that only Hufflepuffs could visit Azkaban. Never been so happy to be sorted into Hufflepuff 😅
Haha same here 😅
Someone told me it was ravenclaw so now I have to start all over 😅
Because they want people's play that house.. if Azakaban Mission not included, they will skips this house.
I knew when I first heard you can pick your house that I was going with slytherin. No regrets.
Choose wisely?
I played a good Gryffindor, and a good Slytherin.
I started a Ravenclaw who is going to be as evil as they come. When I am done with that I am going to start a Hufflepuff that's going to be good, but still use the curses.
Took the online test for a more in depth quiz before being sorted into my house. Never been more proud to get Hufflepuff.
Great video Ben‼️ I love the different flavors they’ve added to motivate us to play the different houses 👏
Thanks mate! This actually makes me wanna replay as a Ravenclaw
@@BenjaminSnow I’m doing it 😂 starting my next as ravenclaw lol it looks amazing 🤩
I think it’s why they allow us 4 character slots, so we can experience the story from each house.
Yes!
I love love love the Slytherin common room, if not just for the music but everything else, too. So moody and calming.
It’s gorgeous. Will definitely do Slytherin as my next playthrough
As a Hufflepuff, I must say this: that’s was the most interesting field trip I’ve been through
Haha
I always wondered why they never taught us Expecto Patronum when we were in Azkaban. Now i know, none of the other houses went there and i guess it'd be unfair for only one house to get such a spell.
I’m hoping that maybe in a dlc or in a sequel we are gonna be able to cast it
I did Gryffindor, as I am a Gryffindor myself.
Poor Nick always not invited anywhere 😅
I playing through Gryphondore. I might play a 2nd round as Slytherin
Wish there was more than one house exclusive mission and each reflects the house in order to do
I bought one of the wands at Walmart and got bellatrix lestranges wand, and the sorting hat first put me in hufflepuff even though I choose gryfindor, I feel like I’m at heart, and destined to be a hufflepuff
Hufflepuffs Unite!
We got Hobbit Doors!
We are Loyal and Hardworking!
And we are the ONLY HOUSE THAT GETS TO SEE THE INSIDE OF AZKABAN LOOOOOOOL :D LOSERS :D
