I'm glad that One Step From Eden made it into GDQ. This game absolutely deserves more attention.

I can't even SURVIVE 15 minutes in this game
Yeah I remember when I first got this game. I got it on a buddy's recommendation and holy hell man, I can't tell you how frustrated I was with the game. There was just so much going on at once and it was super overwhelming at first. You have to aim spells while dodging attacks and of course most enemies aren't just sitting still taking hits, It was a nightmare.
Glad to see this ran at GDQ, bringing attention to an amazing amazing game, great run

It really is a lot to take in. When I first started it took me quite a while to get the hang of it, but once I figured everything out it was really fun.

I tried this games demo but couldn't get the hang of it for the life of me so I never played it again lol
It's definitely overwhelming with the senses overload of stuff on the screen but after a couple runs you get the hang of it and it's actually really fun.

This game needs to come with the characters pre-unlocked or unlock them faster. So far none or the characters fit my play style and I'm about to quit this game over being too difficult. Spire is definitely my preferred game compared to this.

yeah a large part of the difficulty is being locked out of other characters. saffron is a pretty bad character.
There is an option to lower enemy damage
@@darklight6921 saffron is very strong, her default and chrono kits are both probably top 5 among every character kit in the game and are both designed to be beginner friendly
