dear jamila, i'm a woman in my late 30s. i've been struggling with mental health issues for almost two years. i quit my 10 years job last year for taking over my late mother's small business. i always feel so powerless and insecure because i dont have any decorated career achievements nor master degrees, but i learn a lot from your channel! i really want to develop myself for the better me. frankly, it's not an easy journey but i'm trying my best! thank you for your precious insight and wish me luck

I bought the richest man in babylon. It's very informative and practical book. My next book is everything is figureoutable. But it's not available in srilanka. So, going to read the psychology of money instead. Can you please do a book review on intelligent investor. 🙏

This is a briliant video. I've been a saver from the very early age.
We didn't have that much money when I was little. If I was getting a new pair of shoes I knew my two younger sisters would very often end up wearing them. I had to look after my things.
Thankful to my mum for good financial habits and for teaching not to be wasteful.

I'm not sure if you have heard of it but an aspiring entrepreneur presents his business idea and the dragons- who are financially successful people- may or may not offer a business opportunity and invest in them. Great tips! I'll just say that if I hadn't worked hard on my education ( scholarships) wich then allowed me to find a good job and save money now I wouldn't be able to have a safety blanket and wouldn't be able to take care of my elderly mother. Investing in education is always the right decision, sooner or later it will be worth it.

I only wish the people in my country wouldn't try to get *everything* for free. Whenever I try to sell a drawing or painting, they get shocked when I ask for $ (even as little as 5).
Do not put your prices down even though people are not willing to buy it now. Respect your own time and energy you invest in your work.
I totally get that, but I think you just need to get your work in front of the right audience.
You can't blame people for wanting things for free. However, very often we don't value what we get for free, but usually truly cherish what we have to invest in a bit more. It feels more special. Your art is special!

I was born and raised in Lithuania, but after travelling to many countries I wouldn't be able to draw a distinction that wanting things for free is something people in Eastern Europe particularly do. I think it can be quite universal.
@@IEVAKambarovaite While it probably is universal, at least from what I've experienced, in Eastern Europe it's much more common than in the West. Probably because "our" people are much less shameful in pretty much every aspect. It's beyond frustrating that the only solution is moving.
