Curious about why you went for the 170 fork on the HD6 instead of the 180. I’ve been running the stock 180 fork on mine and loving it - feels like an little extra cushion with no downside!
Does the Vivid HSR nob hit the clevis linage? @01:09 It looks like it does. I'm considering that shock on the rear for my v3 Ripmo. It does look like you can't remove it though to adjust the HSC/HBO.
This Ripmo can be my perfect sostitute to my Pivot Firebird 29' my2020! DW-LINK GANG, storage compartment and water bottle compatible. 148x12 it's also very nice! easier to find a wheel set pre-assembled
That Ripmo with Vivid and 170 Zeb is hot hot hot! Keen to see you racing that thing!
is that fork 170 ?
i thought it's 160
@@karma2745 he says he’s running 170 on both bikes
@@MTBMcPhee 170 mm on do it all bike, that's a big win win bro
I am in love with your new Ripmo and build spec.
that shit looks freaking hot. 🔥🔥
These new Ibis frames look nice. 🔥
Great bikes. Have a great end of the season fam
Thanks fam
Great to hear your thoughts on this bike, I'm deciding between hd6 and ripmo for next bike myself
Both are insane I'd love HD6
Good overview. Keep it up
First thing first - that HD6 looks more elegant without the fat down tube.
Hey Greg, did under forking the HD6 make the bikes geometry any different? Noticeable at all?

Main reason being it’s what I’ve always had so it was familiar. Keen to try the 180 when I get a chance after the season.
Class!
🎉🎉🎉
pinkbike market about to be flooded with Ripmos

It’s close but it doesn’t actually contact the clevis. The HSR knob also pops out so if you’re worried you can easily remove it.

It ticks a lot of boxes!
Greg doesn't use much drop on his dropper post
It’s only sitting halfway up there, I run 200mm
why that short droppers?
Same, thinking that also :)
It’s actually a 200mm, just have them sitting at half mast
How tall are you? I”m 6 foot and always felt slightly cramped on my V2s large! Just ordered the V3 large. Thoughts?
I’m about 5’11”/6ft and feel like I could ride either an XM or Large depending on preference, so you should be good 👍
Ok… please… can someone please tell me why I needed chain lube on the trail?
When you’re out for hours riding rough trails the chain can get dried out. So it’s good to top it up.
so yeah
😂😂
New Ripmo vs new stumpjumper 15
Ripmo takes it due to actual cable routing lol
