    A month ago I saw this video and decided to modify my Lenovo in the same way.
    16 GB of ram in dual channel, 480 GB solid hard drive and instead of the gtx 1650 I decided to put the rx 6400 and I have not changed its processor, it is still the i5 6500.
    The result has been excellent, the card in the vast majority of games only consumes between 10 and 20 watts, if you put the graphics to the maximum will reach 41 watts, however because it is a pcie 3.0 the card can not go above 41 watts (or at least that I deduce since it has not gone above that no matter how much I force it) therefore I recommend it as another option to consider since its performance is practically the same as that of the gtx 1650.
    Thank you very much for this video friend, thanks to you now I can play everything with a modest PC!

      Awesome, I am happy to hear some news about the RX 6400 in a PCIe 3.0 lane. Have you looked at any i7-6700 CPU's? I installed an RX 6400 low profile into a PC with a Ryzen 5 4500 and PCIe gen 4 lanes. It was great, with the only downside that there is no encoding to screen record. Good luck with your build!

    • @BlankBlank-b8x

      At the moment I have not looked for a better processor since I see that no game makes the sixth i5 go to 100% and thus save costs, I'm not really very demanding since this system lets me play everything at good resolution, with low power consumption and at 60 fps. pretty decent for me.
      Once again thanks for the test!@@HaisteComputerRepair

    I have the 180w version of this amazing PC and was wondering if you think I'd be ok with with the GTX 1650 ? I know it's just opinion and I'm happy with that, your opinion would be much appreciated.
    Also any chance you could link to the gtx 1650 low profile you bought please? (also was there much clearance inside the case for the card to fit?)

      I was not aware the M900 SFF shipped with a 180W Power Supply. You could probably get away with it, but I wouldn't stress the system out too much. Being that 180W is 70W below the suggested PSU. Can you confirm you have a M900 SFF? I can ship you a 210W power supply if you pay for the shipping fees and packing material (I am in Canada). @@andrewhinkle160I think you will be fine. It's rated as needing a 250W PSU on techpowerup. Same as the GTX 1650, which turned out to be fine. I last installed a LP RX 6400 paired with a 300W PSU and motherboard that supported PCIe gen 4.0, which it seems your ThinkCentre is PCIe 3.0 (not a deal breaker). Why is my i7 6700 power stuck at 30 watts even when working hard? Is there a setting in the BIOS that I need to activate? Please help....Does the number of power pins on the motherboard matter? My motherboard only has 4 CPU power pins

    • @HaisteComputerRepair
      @HaisteComputerRepair  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@altair7655 Can you expound on "stuck?" Do you mean it peaks at 30W? That isn't abnormal as far as I know. The TDP is 65W, but it's fairly normal and expected for CPU's to not exceed even 3/4 of the rating. The i7-6700 is not a CPU you could overclock, especially with the Lenovo motherboard.
