I’m so glad you mentioned that we are not going to lose every week. That happens every now and again for me and then I start losing again. It’s certainly not linear for me. 💚🐝
I was on a very low dose of Ozempic - lost 20 lbs - but didn’t feel great with it. My insurance company decided it wasn’t paying for it anymore so it made an easy decision to quit it. Now I find the lower eating method I developed I am sticking with so I am now continuing my diet plan trying to stay on the same weight loss course.🙏🏻👍
My step #1 for "plateau" is to celebrate maintaining my weight. A plateau is way better than the alternative which is gaining the weight back! Another name for a plateau is maintenance.
good point: the sacrifice, one has to do - the whole life! That's hard to realize 😮💨 always knowing that other people stay on their weight easy - without any sacrifice... I will try to get and be enthusiastic about my weightloss and enjoy f.e. the possibility to wear what I want 😉
A healthy lifestyle is important no matter your weight. I have a "skinny friend" that stayed on his weight easy, but he also ended up having a quadruple heart bypass at 50.
I've had a couple plateaus on ozempic. Oddly, I get past them by adding some fat to my diet. Not a ton, but maybe a couple of teaspoons of butter in the day. Fight fat with fat, it seems. Just don't keep doing this after the plateau breaks.
I started measuring inches today too. With adding back strength training I don’t want the small gains on the scale to mess with my head. Great thought provoking info as always!

What free app would you suggest to track my calories?
My Fitness pal is good. Lose it is another one that isn't bad!
Lose it is no longer available. They ended in July 2023. Thanks for this great video.
