Glad you had a lovely Birthday! I also made Butternut squash soup yesterday. My hubby cut up the squash for me as this is a challenge for me. Our recipe bakes it in the oven first before adding it to a pan of fried onions and garlic witha small amount of chilli. Before blending we also add cream fraiche. Nice that we will have some extra portions in the freezer now! I am waiting on my yarn to arrive for the CAL. Love the bag you made to put the yarn it.

I take the day off from work on my birthday every year. My mom, who passed away in 1998, always made my birthday special so I think the same way. My husband on the other hand doesn’t want anything done on his birthday and he gets me a gift on his birthday! He is weird! 😂
