@@TiredoftheBs-t7v Thank you for looking that up! I think adding new lore is a good thing, but it should never take away from previously established lore or create plot holes as making assaultrons a RobCo product did. Simple as making the Assaultron the product of a startup who got a military contract, then Mr. House has a reason to not want one, as he would presumably consider it beneath him.
Also on the Assultrons. Maybe we can assume that Mr House had them designed but they were only deployed on the east coast not the west coast. Like maybe the Robots are only their to talk with people but he can decide to enter a simulation where he can do whatever he wants with the girls. It wouldn't be too odd to assume he has the ability to enter some form of VR simulation because well I hardly think he's just looking through computer screens. Also the Securitron seems to have been designed specifically for use in Vegas & the are harder than Assultrons. No charge up weapons, just Rockets, 9mm machine guns & a laser weapon (I also feel like they have grenade launchers but I forget if that's just me misremembering). Edit: Also did Rob-co invent the Sentry bot? Their is 2 model. Wait they did I just remembered they appear in Repcon HQ. Yea why didn't he have them as well. Maybe its just part of the game. My best guess is that Securitron are a cheaper to mass produce robot than the 2 models of Sentry bot. Sentry bots are pretty odd robots. The original design is like a mech transformer & the newer one is like a tank. Maybe we can assume that Mr House would at a later point start building more robots. He likely has some manufacturing facilities near the Mojave where he can build his Military robots that he doesn't have present at the Lucky 38 & Bunker hill... Wait Bunker Hill has Protectrons & sentry bots so maybe he does have more of both present in the facility we just don't see them in game. I am guessing Bunker Hill is a manufacturning facility where he can build & repair the robots.
@@cillianennis9921 I think that's probably the case, that Bunker Hill is a vast Securitron storage center with a small protection, turret, and sentry bot security force. I also just remembered that Securitrons (at least the upgraded ones) are capable of self repair, which could be why House prefers them. If a robot can self-repair in a sandstorm-prone environment, that could be why he prefers them over any other kind of combat robot. I also imagine he has some kind VR simulation that he is permanently cut off from if you unseal him, because he pretty much gives up on living at that point (though he cites microbial infection leading to a slow death). Interestingly, Caesar refers to House as a wizard in a tower, which fits considering he basically is a sci-fi version of a lich, complete with the robot army replacing the skeleton army.
On the robot Haram thing. Yea their is 2 cut Securitron women for Mr house. One is pretty much finished this being a blond female Securitron. She can be spawned in with console commands & is referenced by a few companions I think I know for Certain Veronica will say after leaving the Lucky 38 "I am surprised Mr House only has the 2 robot sex slaves." The 2nd cut one being cut way earlier in development would've been an option for female characters with Black Widow to seduce Mr House & he'd then ask you to let him download your brain using a simulation chair & a while later a female Securitron with the characters name would've appeared. I kinda wish their were more named Securitron. I also kinda miss the Polis ones after you upgrade them all. Like I feel their should still be 2 or 3 of the old look round the gates or maybe that's just because I don't like the Military face as much as the original one.
@@cillianennis9921 That's some pretty interesting lore, and it also shows less serious side of a very much 'all-business' character. I also prefered the police face screen, and I think there should have been an MP securitron model, which I think would send a very intimidating message to NCR MPs on the Strip. Whereas the GI-style face screen could be used in battles in the Mojave or urban combat in Freeside.
@@JustAnotherTalkingHead Also, the cut robot's names is Marilyn with the one sex slave that did make it into the game being Jane, which implies that they have the brainwaves of Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell, or at least that House was an admirer.
@@droylajarhirthefelinethief81 I could see that. Raul mentions how a Mexican celebrity did an interview or wrote a tell-all or something where she exposed the process of brain-scanning, then mentioned House had little intetest in her as a human being, but loved the robot.
Yeah I'm not wild about the Securitron design myself. It doesn't look like a serious battle implement, it looks like a kid's toy from a TV series. Practically speaking I think Eyebots are the most dangerous, and so did the Enclave apparently.
@@PaxNovusAmericana You make an excellent point with the Eyebot, especially considering the amount of drone usage in real life, ongoing wars. The Enclave knows what's good, though the canon has not been too kind to them.
Muggy gang until I die. Securitrons are peak Fallout aesthetic to me since they're hilariously bulky, thus looking impractical if they fall over, but also remind me of the sentry bot designs from Fallout 1 and 2.
How dare you call him a coffee cup one. He only cares for coffee mugs. Muggy is his name. Its actually quite annoying that he doesn't accept cups as well as mugs as they look the same in game.
Ok dr. 0
Had to google it to double check. He spent over 800,000 bottle caps to find the platinum chip.
Totally couldve got an assultron for cheaper. Smh house
