    YOU are the PERCECT Instructor. No details left out - BUT more important - not jam-packed with oceans of words to dilute the clarity. This is a VERY high technological piece of machinery that you calmly and clearly pointed out what a user needed to know. I had commented when I first became a Patron that you INSPIRE..... Thank you again and I'm looking forward to learning even more from you about the "Big Picture" of running a successful venture like yours.

    Wow! I purchased a Brother Entrepreneur 6- Plus Saturday and even though the threading was a little different, all the rest of the tutorial was spot on to what I needed! I struggled all weekend trying to figure it out reading the manual to no avail, and then I found you. I think I’m in love! Thanks for showing these instructions so even a child could learn!

    Embroidery does require plenty of work before any work is started and that machine is extra special and can make the task so much easier by doing everything electronicly. I have a very large patch which I purchased from the area air force base to put on a jacket I have, but have not put it on yet. I wondered how much work went into making this patch and now I know after viewing your video and love how that machine works.

    • @TockCustom
      @TockCustom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, just like sewing is 5% sewing, and 95% cutting, measuring, pinning, and planning - same goes for embroidery. I guess that goes for any craft - and the results are always worth it :)

      @@TockCustom Fully agree the percentages of actual sewing vs all the other parts. Especially when you are designing your own items as I have been designing and making bags and the sewing is by far the quickest part of the whole operation.

    very helpful video! I need definitely more videos about this machine, mine has arrived today and would like to learn more about it and also about digitizing my own designs, for example. Do you think, you will make such a video in the future? Greatings from germany :-)

      I plan on doing a LOT more videos with this machine, I've just gotten caught up with a ton of other projects. Feel free to give me some ideas of what you'd like to see :)
      I already have a tutorial on digitizing graphics here: th-cam.com/video/fYkRXdyTYaA/w-d-xo.html
      That should help you get started :)

    Hi! Thank you so much for this video. Do you have any recommendations on how to design custom embroidery for this machine?

    Great video! Thank you for the tutorial. I would love to be able to get one of those machines. Not quite brave enough to start my own business yet. One question, do you have to do a lot of tension adjusting? That is always my biggest fear. Oh btw I love the design. The lips almost looked like velvet in the video.

    I don't have an embroidery machine, and I don't think I am getting a $20k one anytime soon, but your videos are so satisfying.

      I totally understand, I was given this machine to help Brother with a bunch of really exciting projects. If you're interested in getting into some embroidery projects the SE-600 and PE-800 are great starter machines for between $350 and $700 which is great value.
      Thanks for watching! Hope you have a great week :)

    Your videos awesome. Thank you. I just purchased the 1055X and your video was very helpful. Do you know if the Babylock Alliance metal bobbins are compatible with the PR1055X?

    I have watched several embroidery machine videos. By far, your presentation was the best. Excellent photography, great explanations. I do have one question- and I should add that I don't own an embroidery machine yet as I am contemplating buying one. Do you buy prewound bobbins or do you wind the bobbin? Is the bobbin thread typically always white?

    • @TockCustom
      @TockCustom  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So with my smaller units I wind them myself using 'machine embroidery bobbin thread' manually (either black or white) - for this PR1055X, I buy premade (L-Type) Bobbins with a magnetic backing. They come in black or white. This machine doesn't actually have a function to wind its own bobbins, but all smaller units do. Hope that makes sense!

    I just got this machine. I'm gobsmacked. My eyesight is failing and I would like to know how I can switch spool colors and spool numbers so that if I have green on spool 3 but would like to switch green to spool 9, how would i do that??? This is the best tutorial I have found. You are a master instructor..

    Really nice machine, I have no idea if it matters or not, but I always run mine at less than full throttle, usually 800 spm, I can't bring myself to floor the thing right out of the gate.

    • @TockCustom
      @TockCustom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Running it at 1000 SPM is okay with standard thread (for the most part) - but lowering to 800 will create less stoppages and thread breaks. Also you need to lower it to like 600 for specialty threads (like metallics and stuff).
      It totally does matter, great comment :)

    Great video ! I just bought this machine and I am completely new and naive with embroidery. I was wondering if you can do a video on how you placed these patches on the clothing afterwards as well as how to create or design .

    • @TockCustom
      @TockCustom  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I did a different video using my PE-770 to make a bunch of patches, and how to add fusible webbing, that video might be helpful. Once that was done, I just cut them out, ironed them onto a bunch of jean jackets, and then stitched around the edges to secure it in place :)
      I also have a video on how to design custom graphics too which should be helpful
