She never could figure out how to thread it, and it has sat in her closet all this time. I'm going to have it serviced next week when the snow clears. I have been doing my embroidery on my pe770 for several years mainly has a hobby . got a serious last year and I purchased a used(like new) babylock 6 needle with all the accessories ( 2 of everything) including the hat attachments for $3000.00. I was saving monies for a new machine but this was such a great buy. There are people who have machines that are selling their machine at very affordable price cause they need the money.
Where did you buy your machine? I have been looking on eBay, OfferUp, so many different places and every machine I find seem to be going for market prices.

I got a commercial machine when I started doing sheep covers, horse pads, I did it on my one needle and after I did these my one needle brother Snoopy and a one needle onULT-D went to the tech for 2 weeks. I bought my 15 needle SWF and sailed right through the thick pads , did golf bags, did luggage, car mats. My saying for my business is If you think it, I create it. I have about every hoop in mighty hoops and fast frames and Other frames. My biggest hoop for SWF is 24”x 17” give or take It is gigantic
Thanks for all the info! I was going to buy a brother this week. And then I saw your videos and realized that the Melco is the same as the Bernina multi needle. So now to decide between the melco or the Bernina! The melco will be cheaper but I don’t use a pc so I’m leaning more towards the Bernina. So excited and ready to move to the multi needle.
We definitely want the Melco multi needle machine for efficiency but maybe we need to go ahead and start out with a small one first. I’m the type that wants to just go for the big one 😂but it might be better to start out small and see how it goes!

Just some info, I bought a Bai off alibaba, they provide all the training and support, a good warranty, parts and video/chat support. With commercial machines you look after them yourself, as you said, and they teach you how. I live in Canada, a Melco here is 21K+ for basic... a bai was 6400.00(CAD)shipped to my door with all the extras. So the reality is I could buy 4 machines for the price of one... sad but true. There is also groups with others who have them and offer support and info. I’ve heard bad reviews on Melco, but I’ve yet to hear anything not positive about a Bai, many people say it is like happy(amazing machines). Just thought I would leave some info as someone who has actually bought one and did extensive research with them. Love your videos and group girl!

I love your enthusiasm! I think it's great that you have done so well. I have a sewing/embroidery combo machine but I hardly use it anymore because it takes so long to make anything. I'm considering buying a multi-needle. Partly because my son is 16 & a very talented artist & I think he could make a killing digitizing his artwork & embroidering it on hats, beanies & clothing. I'm hoping if I take the plunge he will be motivated because I have a full time job that I can't quit so it will be up to him to really grow the business. Which multi needle would you buy first? I have tried to use my Husqvarna embroidery/sewing machine. But it is difficult to just embroidery a name. So I was looking at a 10 needle starter.
Loved it! I’ve been wanting to ask... I know Melco has the Acti-feed so the tension is a lot different than the Brother/Babylock multi needle machines. I’m so used to the Brother/Babylock tension I’ve wondered if the Melco tension system would be hard to get used to? I always look for that standard of 1/3 1/3 1/3 (top thread, bobbin, top thread) on the back. But I think you don’t get that on the Melco’s, right? Thanks for your insight!

With ALL machines you look for the 1/3 1/3 1/3 whats good with Melcos actifeed is its just a click of a button to adjust vs turning knobs and it automatically changes the tension based on the garment you are using but you still set parameters for it!

I own a hat company but we font do embroidery yet. Looking to add embroidery. However, we make our hats using very hard backing for the the structure of the crown. I'm concerned that the embroidery machines won't be able to handle the crown that we use to make our hats versus what people use like very soft dad hats with no structure. Any recommendations? Just some info, I bought a Bai off alibaba, they provide all the training and support, a good warranty, parts and video/chat support. With commercial machines you look after them yourself, as you said, and they teach you how.
I live in Canada, a Melco here is 21K+ for basic... a bai was 6400.00(CAD)shipped to my door with all the extras. So the reality is I could buy 4 machines for the price of one... sad but true.
There is also groups with others who have them and offer support and info. I’ve heard bad reviews on Melco, but I’ve yet to hear anything not positive about a Bai, many people say it is like happy(amazing machines).
Just thought I would leave some info as someone who has actually bought one and did extensive research with them.

I love your enthusiasm! I think it's great that you have done so well. I have a sewing/embroidery combo machine but I hardly use it anymore because it takes so long to make anything. I'm considering buying a multi-needle. Partly because my son is 16 & a very talented artist & I think he could make a killing digitizing his artwork & embroidering it on hats, beanies & clothing. I'm hoping if I take the plunge he will be motivated because I have a full time job that I can't quit so it will be up to him to really grow the business. I already have a small Etsy shop where I sell handmade purses & a few other items so it's a little easier than starting from scratch. I will have to get him to watch some of your videos. Yes You can! You would just need an embroidery software and you would save to a flash drive and upload it to your machine!
What software are going to use? How big is your frame area?
Which multi needle would you buy first? I have tried to use my Husqvarna embroidery/sewing machine. But it is difficult to just embroidery a name. So I was looking at a 10 needle starter.

Loved it! I’ve been wanting to ask... I know Melco has the Acti-feed so the tension is a lot different than the Brother/Babylock multi needle machines. I’m so used to the Brother/Babylock tension I’ve wondered if the Melco tension system would be hard to get used to? I always look for that standard of 1/3 1/3 1/3 (top thread, bobbin, top thread) on the back. But I think you don’t get that on the Melco’s, right? Thanks for your insight!
@@alyssalehmann7419 Hiiii! the tension is actually ALOT easier on the melcos. With ALL machines you look for the 1/3 1/3 1/3 whats good with Melcos actifeed is its just a click of a button to adjust vs turning knobs and it automatically changes the tension based on the garment you are using but you still set parameters for it!

I've watched a few of your videos after starting my embroidery endeavor. I started with a brother se600 and I just bought a galaxy gx1501 brand new. It didn't come with instructions so I am completely lost. I've never ran anything like it. Do you have any pointers or videos for beginners on 15 needle machines?

Where can I buy the Brother PR1050x?
I own a hat company but we font do embroidery yet. Looking to add embroidery. However, we make our hats using very hard backing for the the structure of the crown. I'm concerned that the embroidery machines won't be able to handle the crown that we use to make our hats versus what people use like very soft dad hats with no structure. Any recommendations? Thanks!
