My pr1055x was delivered this week and I’ve been watching tutorials trying to get familiar with the computer screen. Your tutorial was by far the simplest yet in depth tutorial and I learned so much. I do have this machine for a few months now. I am trying to run my own business with clothing and I would love to apply embroidery on some of them. To be honest I even don't know why I bought this but I know it would be much cheaper than send my clothes to somebody and do it for me.. I've been watching a few videos about how to use this machine and so far your tutorial is the best. Simple language for person who don't know much about sewing or embroidering and explain a lot! I am so happy I found your video :) thank you

Thank you! I am debating about buying a PR1055X. I'm watching these videos to decide if I really need one. I don't own a single needle machine- so from nothing to 10 needles is a big decision. I will watch more of your videos.

@Catherine This machine is a LOT easier to use than the flatbed machines for embroidery. It was designed in a straightforward manner to embroider, not retrofitted from being a sewing machine, so all the negatives, limitations and contortion problems created by the sit-down, flatbed models are not even there--you don't waste time learning dozens of workarounds.
Plus, it's got industrial-level piston strength, so there's no hesitation or struggling when using high numbers of stitch designs or heavy fabrics. I use mine to quilt my quilts, even.

I've just bought a 1055x this week, when you were talking about the jumbo hoop (I have purchased this) and said about the split design, does the 1055x split the design or does this need to be done in separate software. I couldn't find the video you mentioned that explained it further, thanks.
Hi Laura, you will need to split the design in software such as Embrilliance Essentials. Very easy to achieve with the right software! Here is a link:

Could you creat a smocking design with this machine ?
@user-mb4ki8kk1k If it is an embroidery design, it can stitch it. Smocking is generally done on a sewing machine and or using a smocking machine.
Heyy, quick question, you said most people who buy this do it for hobby purposes. Is it suitable for businesses ? I have the opertununity to get into this business. But my main customer would like to Order 300 hoodies. Could this machine handle such a workload? or would it take months/years for that amount ?
@Luftleif Yes it could handle it and how long it takes depends on how complex the embroidery is you will be doing. It is a matter of maintaining the machine and oiling it when required. It is definitely a great asset to a small business.
Hi Gary: you are so specific in your explanation of this machine that one can totally understand everything, and I do mean everything. It looks like a beautiful machine and I’m wondering what software does it need, and would you suggest using Embrillance?

I have the Brother PR670e and wondering if the Wide Table Extension be used on it?
Hi Mary the wide table will fit (PRWT1) the PR670E as will the tubular frame table (PRTT1AP).

When I scan my image it doesn’t pop up completely and parts of it is missing. What should I do?
Hi Bertha - you can touch up the image prior to scanning with a fine black marker, this should assist with the machine reading it. You can also change the gray scale of the image -this icon looks like a fern and if you select this you can make the image darker.

Hi Gary, I was so excited today when I get my PR1055X but I am so sad now because its not working, I was doing the setup and now is showing me a message "Needle case motor has been locked" and make a horrible sound, by any chance do you know how can I fix that? By the way, I love your video!

Yes, it is in your settings. You need to turn *Manual Color sequence* off. This is located on page 7 in the settings. I hope this helps. -Alec

The Venture is sold in America only. This one is the one available in Australia.
Can you import the Disney pattern on this machine with a USB stick? Or is there any way to import the Disney patterns (I know the Disney patterns are for personal use only 😊)?
You can use any patterns that you legally purchase - this is due to copyright. Disney have strict laws which protects their content.

At first I was told I could use Disney patterns on this machine (for personal use, I understand they cannot be sold), but originally was told I could buy software to download Disney patterns on this machine. Sorry Denise - that was supposed to say you can embroider any bought patterns on your machine as this satisfies copyright laws as you have bought them legally. We can only advise on what you can legally do.

They are 70 weight. The Bobbin case has to be tensioned correctly to the type and weight of bobbin fill you are using.
Do you determine the type of stabilizer based on: fabric & stitch count?
Yes that is correct - highly dense embroideries use a stronger stabiliser. What type of stabiliser you use is dependant on what you are stitching on.
@@EchidnaClub Is they a general criteria that can be used based on stitch count? meaning for exp. 10,000 stitches would work best with a light stabilizer?
