      Now this is interesting.
See what's actually happening is John achieved the scientific physical limit of "bear" some years back. This means his arms cannot contain any further molecules as his biceps are at maximum molecular density.
"But i learned at school that matter isn't created or destroyed, and merely transformed. So what is happening to John's chops every time he shreds?"
Good question, little Billy! well every time John shreds, the boost in strength is rebounded out of his arms at 0.98x the speed of light, circling earth in a tight spiral until it crosses an arm worthy of its incredible power of fusion.
I have no idea what im saying...

Actual fun fact: that guitar tosin has was created by the luthier drawing the shape of it into tosin's arms as he was sitting. It fits geometrically perfectly against his body, therefor, it is extremely comfortable to play. It is also the guitar that inspired his Ibanez signature, and then eventually, his own guitar brand.

Not extra frets as much as the longer scale length on the bass strings helps with the intonation and tension and similarly, but in reverse, the same thing with the shorter scale length on the trebles. It makes for a more uniform feel and playability across all the strings and is really only needed for tunings well below the standard, hence the term extended range. It avoids the sort of hassle that tuning a 24 3/4" scale guitar down a 4th or 5th involves. I probably sound like a dick but I'm a lovely bunch of guys really.

That's what off time syncopation sounds like. It starts on time, kinda breaks apart and eventually circles back around to being on time together. You see it alot in some of the more crazy jazz stuff, etc, but you need a MONSTER drummer to pull that shit off. They've gotta basically be a human metronome.
