They are both great movies but very different genres. Just because RRKPK was a typical big Bollywood “Karan Johar” entertainer that on the surface may seem superficial, it doesn’t mean that within its genre and the universal it lived within…the movie was bad…actually it was a well constructed film with a similar message. Making a film mentioning the parda system which is not that rampant in hindu society nowdays or may be still exists, is definitely applaud worthy. Very sweet film. Only thing that felt unfounded was the police officer's change of heart at the end. They dint hesitate to hit an innocent guy who came to lodge a complaint... But suddenly at the end they have a moral compass. Especially the woman officer- she thrashes a boy to make him 'sing' and later cringes when jayas husband hits jaya
