Trust me this case is worth it. The feel of it, weight, and battery. It's not charging your phone per say, it's more like your phone is just using the battery from the case first and when it goes down to 0 it will start pulling power from the battery in slide the iPhone. I wish they made one for the 7 plus.

but if the iphone charges your phone every 1%, that messes up the battery life of your iphone because everytime you plug in ur phone to charge, it uses one single charge. this case seems to deplete your overall battery significantly if it truly does keep ur phone charging all the time.

Actually the case doesn't charge your battery, the phone automatically pulls power from the case and once the battery depletes in begins to run off the internal battery

The vibrations are felt throughout the whole case when you are holding it. It does not block the vibrations :)

Brazord I like it for one reason .... the lift it gives the phone off the ground ! That means the camera if dropped camera down it will be protected because of the lift of the battery

I have a rose good battery case, it's just big and bulky which I personally don't like about it
What I'm wondering is if it's bad to have it charging your phone 24/7 or if it's okay because it's designed by apple and tested by apple, that might be a reason why they didn't put a switch but we may never know

Is it charged as you also charge your iPhone simultaneously or separately also is the back of jet black glass?
There's a lightning port at the bottom of the case which is used to charged it, and the jet black is the same metal as before just highly polished

Can you put an iPhone 6 in there and see if it works? I know the headphone jack will be blocked but I wanted to know if it would be too loose/tight or if the rear camera opening would be too small/large. Thank you.
Hey! It fits just how I showed the Silicone case in that video. The metal surrounding the camera gets obstructed a little bit but that's it! The camera works 100% without anything in the frame and you'd get much more battery life out of this case than the 6s battery case :D

I have one on with a screen protector but it depends on the size and brand
It's going to make ur iPhone 7 heat up since it doesn't stop charging so I recommend getting the smart battery case for when ur going somewhere and ur phone is on 20% or less and a regular silicone case just for protection

How do you turn it off?
The side button on the right of the phone. To restart the phone, you'll need to hold the right button and the lower sound button on the left together until the apple logo shows up.

Gabriel Vitor Sousa mine works fine on my 6s. the design means it doesn't look like it was made for it, but does not obscure the camera. the extra battery power means my 6s easily last two days.

Why though?
The case is not charging the phone constantly even when it's at 100%. Its using using the cases' battery for power instead of the phone's. once the case is drained your phone is full and you have the option to ditch the case.
+Timothy Nguyen Indeed but what I meant was that the case prioritizing using its power thus depleting its charge and leaving the phone at 100%.
This is not ideal for people who want the opposite of that. So if I work all day and I'm just listening to podcasts and I want the case attached to the phone but turned off so that I deplete the phones charge and when I leave work I could activate the case to make any important calls and have enough to when I get home. In this case a different case would be a better option.

It will keep charging until it dies
The phone pulls juice from the case and once the case runs out, the phone runs off the battery. Hence, "smart" battery case.
The battery case doesn't actually charge the iPhone's battery. The iPhone pulls power from the case's battery first, then when the case is empty, the phone will then start using it's own internal battery. This is why there's no power button on the case. It's all automatic.

Why not just get a 7 plus instead of making your 7 bigger and heavier?
7 Plus only has 1 more hour of battery life while this gives you a whole other charge to your phone. If people find themselves using up the whole battery on the 7 then they would also use it up the 7 plus and would need a case for that one too. The 7 plus with the battery case far bigger that this one with the case :)

the only flaw is that you can turn the case off. To bad other than that, I like the case.
Toney M. why is it a flaw? it means that the phone is always fully charged if you want to go naked with the iPhone. The advantage is that the phone draws power from the battery case so less usage of the internal battery. my iPhone after 6 months still shows 100% capacity. The case also has extra antennas to improve reception. it feels a lot better than the plastic cases. You get a widget giving accurate battery life rather than useless LEDs. Also you can charge via lightning so no horrid USB. on eBay they are 30% off so closer to competition and the 6s one is 60% off. having used the 6s one for 6 months I could not go without one now.

Vfsj Vanessa Hi. Yes it is "smart" so i rarely use the battery on my iphone, every week or so running it down for good management. The iphone app (BatteryLife) says my iphone 6s battery capacity is still at 100%(1715/1715) so it appears that the iphone battery is bypassed and power comes direct from the battery case to the phone. I use the iphone 7 smart case now as it fits fine and has extra capacity (lasts 2-3 days with phone battery) and use the iphone 6 smart battery for extra power when needed. With this case there is no reason for Android fans to knock the battery life as it is a great solution. Apple have made a disappointing thing into a positive with this battery case.

Henry Chumpitaz , you don't understand , it's designed like that because it will help with the charge cycles , instead of draining your phone's battery , it uses the battery from the case & leaves your iphones battery at 100 , meaning it leaves it alone , it's a smart battery case , it should know not to charge your phone

If they redesign it I would think about buying it. But I just can't get passed the look. Either way, your experience sounds like it would be worth it.
