Moon Child I have it too and I love it, but when it comes to customizing the cases I don't like it so much anymore, it looks dirty, I think I'll change it for the Silver

Same I decided to get the rose gold (sicne I have gold iphone 6+). You can always get a nice silicone matte black case. Since you'll be staring at the front more, get your prefer color for the front screen

Silver is the only boring color here. Its just so plain and ugly. So glad I got the gold the white looks so good on it too.

+CreepTheParty I don't hate rose gold. I like it a LOT better than the boring silver. My personal favorite however is the matte black because I like dark colors. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with the rose gold color, or a guy having a rose gold iPhone.

I like how it looks and so does Apple considering how much they advertise that combo. It's a nice blend of colors from a designing point of view since this is an ocean blue and not a bright blue.
the things is i think that with the color of your iPhone you make a statement. when you mix the matte black with a black case it of course seems more a professional business phone and if you mix gold with for example cocoa it seems more like a classy expensive fashion item. but with rose gold and blue i think it just looks stupid and i don't see why anyone would have a phone with colors that have nothing to do with each other. event the worst combination right now i think is rose gold and sea blue. that just seems like you have a 15 $ phone.

I feel ya! I personally find that the Cocoa/Gold and Ocean/Gold look equally nice but are for two different types of people. At the end of the day it's just a case so the good thing is people can choose whichever they'd like and express themselves how they see fit.
yeah i thought so too.. i thought he was going to call it ugly like for rose gold a lots of cases doesn't match so go for other phones but it was actually opposite
white front is transparent meaning light leaks through the front display with the black front it will block the light from leaking thats why white has more bright display

Matte Black - It looks so black and sleek.
Rose Gold - It has a white front, you can see anything on the phone, it looks great on cases especially on outdoors :(
Matte Black - It looks awesome on gaming and watching videos :(

Yυкιтσ honestly I feel like it rly comes down to the kind of colors of cases you'll be using (if using cases at all). I used to get black iPhones and still love the look of them, but I tend to get pastel colored cases and in my opinion those just look better with white than with black, so I started getting white iPhones... though that's only helped me narrow it down to 3 colors this year lol so I totally feel ur struggle. Anyway, hope that helped a little, good luck!

The black colour has the advantage that it makes a good contrast when you look the screen. Compare watching a video in a phone with white frames and look another with black frames, you´ll confirm that it is better on the black one.
That´s the reason monitors or TV has nearly always black frames around the screen.
I specially love the iphone X design with the back in white but the front in black, that would be the perfect combination!

Great comparison man. I wanted to ask you if you faced any screen issues when doing a soft reset on the iPhone 7 by pressing the sleep/wake and the volume down button? Mine flashed green screen before going dark. Do you face such issues? Thanks.
I just tried it out and it did a really weird color (not green) before turning off. Almost like purple. Very odd since I've never had an iPhone do that before.
DarGadgetZ Damn that's not good. I checked with the users from my side of the world and apparently they said it's an OS issue since they got it ever since updating to iOS 10. I hope it isn't a hardware issue or anything.
Perhaps others who read this comment can share their experiences too.
I have that too, it changes colors sometimes. It's most likely an OS issue since most iPhone 7s have it lol

I like the silver one the most coz it has a white front like I prefer on an iPhone n those white lines are blended into the silver so not as prominent.. The gold n rose gold have those striking bright white lines which I personally don't like at all specially in the shape that it wraps around this yr.. And black looks like any other slab phone, won't know its an iphone if don't see it closely.. Why spend so much n get that general color that looks like a slab of black with no accents..

I wanted to have rose gold but got cheaply black one and it looks nice. Very elegant and sophistocated. And it is not glossy. I think iPhone 8 for example stinks getting glass on the back.
if you want to put a case, buy silver, gold or rose gold... if no case, black. simple.

Did you mention that the paint of the Matte Black kinda 'falls off' after a certain time of using? Because there are some people who admit it and some don't. Catches the Matte Black a lot of finger prints, or are these invisible with clean fingers? Great Video btw.
I have a feeling the reason the screen is whiter on the silver phone than on the black is because night shift is turned on on the black phone and he doesn't realize it. Night shift minimizes blue light and makes everything a little yellower tinted, so that could be the culprit perhaps?
