Most companies would probably try to exaggerate just how much everyone absolutely needs their products.
Elgato comes along and goes "You don't need a stream deck, but it is a helpful little tool"
I have some mad respect for that.

I clicked on the video thinking it was going to be a product review of the steam deck but instead I was thrown a bunch of hand gestures and arm movements. By the end of the video I was thinking “damn this dude sure does a lot of hand gestures” I wonder if it’s a byproduct of using the steam deck? Dude reminds me of a car salesman 😆

I bought 3 of these. One for my son, which he uses to quickly set intro/outro vids for his game recordings. One for me personally, which i use for games like EVE Online (best controller ever for quickly changing ships and setting up new actions for that ship). And one for my office laptop, which i use to quickly pull up vendor sites, make auto replies and e-mails, auto-transactions, and open other office programs and have them already ready for what I usually need them for.
I also set up a scheme for controlling Personus Studio One 4 Pro, because I do multi-channel audio editing for bands on the side.

I use mine to control a very simple yet efficient way to add text scores, timers and graphic overlays to Rugby Games that I record live and add the information as overlays which is then ouput to screens in the club. Certain keys will drop in a graphic layer that I created in Photoshop and has been assigned to display or not. It works like a charm. It also looks the business when all setup. The supporters love it and we are to my knowledge the only amatuer club that does this live in our league.

I just bought your 4k60 S+ capture card unit, and it refuses to accept and output a 4k signal. I've tested both of my HDMI cables and can confirm they are capable of carrying a 4k signal (tested them going direct from my PS4Pro to my 4K receiver and no issues)
But as soon as I bring the 4k60 S+ into the equation, the signal defaults to 1080p 60fps and says my display doesn't support 4k (it very clearly does)
I tested this with both the PS4Pro and XboxOne X.. what gives?

With some changes to the form factor, or rear mounting brackets, this would also be a godsend for simulation gaming or as a more multi-function multimedia control panel. The software is already there to support all of these things, the hardware just needs some QOL for alternative mounting options. Hell, you could set it up as a midi controller.

I use mine all of the time. Please fix the latest update. I installed it and it made the Stream Deck completely useless. All of the icons on the keys were gone and pressing them did nothing and also, the software would not even open after the update. Had to uninstall the software, redownload it and reinstall after manually deleting the leftover files after the uninstall and it installed just fine. You guys make awesome products and I'm sure this will get fixed quickly. Just wanted to share this in case anyone else has experienced similar issues after installing the latest update.

Can also set hotkeys using OBS / Slobs anyway and there's even an app for smart phones / tablets to act a stream deck for you. So is it really worth us streamers shelling out like £130-200 on a Stream deck? That's what I'm trying to work out.. \o>

I do have a question. I noticed that on 5:30-5:51, you have all 3 stream decks hooked up; The stream deck mini, The stream medium & The stream deck XL. Do I need to have all 3 to optimize what I'm doing? I just recently order the medium sized stream deck. I plan to you use it for streaming on TH-cam & Twitch. Your help is appreciated.

Your vids are great... just a little constructive criticism and you don't need much of that, but I'd EQ your mic audio with attenuating down the frequencies between about 550Hz to 250Hz or thereabouts. The voice is pretty muddy or quacky sounding in these vids. Maybe bump up EQ at about 2K. The info is top notch and I really like Elgato!

Say I wanted to do something simple like turn on a flashlight by binding the F key to one of the buttons and have that button light up when the flashlight is active.
