I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and I must say I love your approach to gardening. It’s very simple with no frills or fuss. I have been intimidated to expand my garden because most of the other gardeners that I follow do a lot and I know it won’t be sustainable for me. You still have great harvests but it seems like a very low stress approach. I appreciate you sharing with us. Looking forward to learning more from you!

I love watching your videos. You make me excited to get a home of my own and start a back yard garden. Right now I'm at my in-laws house for a few years trying to restart some things in life. I used to be in an apartment growing on my small porch. Now I'm currently in a new area trying to help my mother-in-law grow a garden in her backyard. So far we are in the beginning stages about to start our beds as soon as we get the ones she wants. I just love watching you in your garden planting and harvesting. Such an inspiration as a black woman taking care of her family. Can't wait to see what 2024 has in store.💕 You had an amazing harvest!!!

Great harvest. For those leeks, you can do the same thing to them that you do to green onions: Cut them about an inch above the roots. They will come back and you will get another round of leeks.

I have a pond netting that stretch a little, over my whole chicken run. They have all sizes or just google netting. I had a hawk take the head off a chicken. Netting will keep all the big birds out along with others like raccoons too. And it will keep them safe from themselves lol.

your chickens like to roost outside it looks like....if you have a branch in there they can hop up on it ....and if you can get some of that clear roofing panels and cover the coop with that if you don't want them getting out ....I wish I would have done that when I had chickens then I wouldn't have had a muddy mess when it rained , I loved my chickens but hated the stink it made when we had a big rain ....I would love to get chickens again, the price of eggs are going up again ....uuuugggg

Great harvest! I have a couple collard plants I have had for three years here in Zone 9. They last through the summer months. I dont harvest much from them until it is cooler but I do not have to replant.

Good harvest, I harvested some of my veggies this week but the worms oh my gosh, can’t you put some netting over the roof of the chicken pen that might stop them from flying up great video ❤

How do you keep the bugs out of your produce? My green peppers never had a chance to turn red, my broccoli was ate up, and my tomatoes were jacked up by either birds or hornworms. 😢
Do you eat your broccoli green? They are really good. You can mix them with your collards.
