Craftsmanship just amazing on this, just with the upgraded metal arms, links, now chassis, there is literally no plastics to absorb shock, not to mention weight. I don't know the UDR like you do but it probably makes sence to leave one of those three areas still plastic👍 Cool to show what's available though.
@@cj910 one high speed topple and you will regret saying that☠️ I get it's not a Mojave that can take some jumps and is 10x more durable, but metal everything and even Flipping over at speed can cause REAL damage. The stock UDR drives realistic and is reasonabley durable for what it can do, this is not an improvement IF all metal, needs someplace to give... It's just physics
Vitavon only has one project left remaining for the UDR-roll cage. If this happens, then the UDR can be pieced together 100% outside from Traxxas parts catalogue.
That is just super nice I want to build one all vitavon I’m waiting for the all aluminum frame work I’m pretty sure they have something like that in the works
With my charger and 4 batteries plus a ton of aluminum upgrades im already nearly at 2700 bucks cad into my udr and now this ? Uggh you are making me broke lol
You should use thermal compound between the motor and motor mount (between all the aluminum joints if you really wanna go crazy) if you really want the chassis to act as a heatsink. This should really improve thermal transfer.
Some real fans on back widow area would be cool one blowing in one blowing out , for me the fans are first thing to either break or be in the way , I get them for free so it’s nbd
Agree ultimately if keep esc cool and center diff cool which is like the transmission but most guys try to near lock it up and the fans get in the way of the driving that causes excess heat
This is a joke people..haha bro you buy a udr. It's a lovely truck. Now let's go spend about 3,000 dollars more to put vitovon on every single part lolol.
@@mongolman1988 Not really, aluminum is pretty light and it has a lightweight plastic rollcage. I do agree that 3K in vitavon upgrades is just ridiculous though.
This is one of the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in RC
Wow that thing is beautiful!
You have a awesome truck. Love all the metal on it. Would be nice if the company sold it with all the bling

By the fact, that the UDR is not for big jumps... all the weight is good for the scale Look while driving. It doesn't need this much flex :)

So clean and so nice looking!

thats actually pretty cool

this is just insanely beautiful fine mechanics👌

Awesome UDR Joe! Keep up the awesome work man! I’m waiting for the VITAVON UDR roll cage to hopefully come out. 🎯
LX shocks has a full titanium roll cage. 1100 USD
Wow bro you always pull it vitavon I love I need a couple of goodies for my udr
Just when I thought the vitavon king had everything......lol so sick man
Brilliant this is exactly what I need for my UDR. Is the battery tray larger than the traxxas original so you can fit other peoples lipos in it.
Finally someone made a video of this I'm goona get one but it's a lot of money I need one though

There should be a fan directly on top of the center transmission. The center gets hot way faster than the motor

Wow Joe I love this thing great job brother!!👊👍
Thank you
We need spiral-cut gears.....please front rear diffs....
Very nice looking! Machined art right there!👍👍😁😎✌️
Don’t you just more stress to the drivetrain and it’s components with all this added weight?
He should have upgraded cvd and driveshaft and maybe upgrading the gears ⚙️
Dang, what a beast!
What is the weight on all that aluminum
i wish i was good at making sick builds
How much does the UDR weight with everything it has? Where are the vitavon beadlock rims? And curious what everything adds up in price.
Vitavon needs to make a metal roll cage.
When are you going to do the LX Shocks Bypass shocks?
Is that fan slot standard 40mm?
Insanity as always. 5 axis cnc are a godsend 👏
You are phenomenal too 😉
Thank you. I think it’s 40mm
I got the udr metal cage so that and the metal cage would be sick
I would replace the tires. They look a little worn. Maybe next pit service.
Have you seen any thermal issues with the max6? my vitavon truck has one and the tp4070 but i worried it might be a little under powered with the 6.
With all the added weight how is the handling and the speed?
Dude! This thing is beautiful! I’d love to know how much it cost to build it out this way!
$2.5-3.5k... 😮 Depends on the Electronic you gonna use
@@cj910 that’s insane! But so cool that they make so many upgrades! You could pretty much build a UDR with buying a single part from traxxas. Lol
Yeah a small fortune
We need spiral cut gears for ur please...
How strong are those diffs? I’m considering doing a 1/7 build any feed back is appreciated. Any weak points in the udr that you would point out maybe?
The only weak link is the rear ring&pinion .
Ooooh shiny shiny, we like the shiny shiny...😂😊
Everyone check out LX SHOCKS full titanium roll cage for the UDR, it’s unreal
Hey what rims and tires are you running they look good!
Jconcepts Landmines for UDR. Should be a link in the description
Wow. Not only will be be twice the price. But also 2x heavier and slower. I’m gona simulate this on my use by filling it with rocks
Ik I don’t get all the metal upgrades bc you only need a few but if you just do scale driving like it’s meant to do it will be perfectly fine
another one bites the dust?
That's copyrighted. Joe's version is 'another one eats the sandwich'.😂
That's my guess.
Lots of sandwiches
I want one!!!!!!!
In the description
How do I order udr vitamin parts from you
Vitavon
** Great vid. Spinner thing is called a lazy Susan. JUST helpful info
👍🤪
I like the original Fox body better personally
Does it really need that much heat reduction?
these things get hot, the rear drive shaft is hot after a good run.
Any heat reduction is a major improvement in runtime & longevity
Yeah
I think vitavon is kinda over priced
That's a weird business model🤔
crap cost way to much

The car has to lose a ton of durability becoming so heavy from all of the aluminum.
Never broken a chassis on the udr. My nephew though. He was chasing a dirty bike and caught it. Bike ran over udr and broke chassis.
@@mongolman1988 Not really, aluminum is pretty light and it has a lightweight plastic rollcage. I do agree that 3K in vitavon upgrades is just ridiculous though.
You could make it in cf and it would 4 times as strong and weight a out the same as stock but cost half or less of what the aluminum cost
@@frederickhester5097 cf is almost 3x more expensive than 7075 aluminum. Where are your numbers coming from?
