yep, had it in my cart for a few months.. just waiting for my stock one to need the change. But for once I spotted something before you, so no need to feel like I need to run out and get one. Glad though that you did a review of it, so no nail biting about the purchase when I do.
Cant wait for the wheels I have all three parts, also went with alloy steering assembly amongst other parts. Every time I added a bit of alloy low down the handling improved to be honest it may be me learning to drive it better, but I run 5th scale gas the UDR is my only small scale electric, and a different driving style is required for them much the same as the UDR.
i broke one of my steering bellcrank posts haha but I just used super glue and installed it again. The screw head on top of the posts sits perfectly inside the cup of the chassis so it's actually pretty durable. Funny thing is, I broke the post while performing preventive maintenance, not driving...ironic...
On the stock diff housing.. the diff only goes in one way. They have it cut so you can't mess it up.. Makes you wonder why Vitaton did it for both directions
Did you have to increase the spring rate on your UDR with all the aluminum upgrades? I've got a lot of aluminum parts on mine and it seems to ride a little low. I could be mistaken. The only things you have I don't are the rear aluminum housing and the front aluminum bulkhead. I'm sure the new bulkhead adds quite a bit of extra weight. I'm going to eventually do the rear housing and front bulkhead, I just want to know if yours drives like it should have a higher spring rate. I am going to change out the shock oil for something in the realm of 35-40 weight but won't help as far as tub clearance goes. Should I buy new springs or is it fine with stock rate?
in this video I did not adjust any spring collars or change any springs, however the rear spring shocks are tekno so they are not stock, I will most likely turn up the front shocks a bit but not much.
Do you plan on getting the transmission case? I heard it took some grinding to get one in. Would like to verify before I purchase one. I have the rear axle which is excellent.
As far as stress it has to go somewhere but so far I’ve had no issues with anything aluminum on this truck. It almost seems like the chassis absorbs it all without breaking. I really really like the new Vitavon wheels, I just haven’t been able to get a set yet
Wow its sooo BEEFY!!! LOL sweet man it looks great How heavy is ur UDR now with all these upgrades u have done to it? After I just seen the running footage it looks to be front heavy, nose diving a bit but the UDR is front heavy as it is, mine is almost stock n a bit front heavy
its always acted nose heavy but the rear solid axle carries a lot of mass when launching off a jump so its about the same as any truck with similar design. I haven't weighed it lately

Just did a pre-order with him for some new stuff.. His quality looks amazing.

Pretty cool slow motion shots and that machine rips

Vitavon makes awesome parts!
We have some of their parts on our Super Rock Rey!
I almost got an SRR just because of their support for it.

I don’t have the trans case yet so I honestly can’t say.
Does all that added weight from the aluminum change the way it handles or feels?
If you do all aluminum where does the stress from bumps go?
and what do you think of the Vitavon aluminum udr rims?

Will they have any aluminum or steel cage add on’s to make it more scale with a steel roll cage
I doubt it but you never know
Does your rear differential still get sand inside?
i like my friend good Accessory
What size pinion and why the castle motor?
Stock 27t pinion and the stock motor was wearing out and getting loud, I had the castle sitting around so I installed and I like it.
Update on all the parts ? How are they working ? any loose play over stock? ev
Just wondering thinking about fully doing vitavon in my udr and want to make her it’s worth it
Eric Young I haven’t had a single issue with anything from Vitavon check out the latest video with the transmission case. Really impressive
Exocaged RC Awesome thanks for the reply i will definitely be upgrading my udr with your parts since your in depth videos
...really helped me figure it all out. Thanks again👍🏻
Eric Young you can buy from the eBay links or directly from Arthur himself in the description of the transmission video are links to most everything.
pretty nice 👍 every parts is aluminium
What shock bump stops are you using?

Awesome content brother.. Love the channel emodified-78-rc
What kind of motor is inside? 🙏

Can you review on Vitavon driveshaft?
Where can I get this from in the uk
tough one, may have to email Arthur at vitavon directly, I can get you his email if you want it.
Your tie rods look warped man
Oh yeah they were like boomerangs. LoL I put the new ones on before I finished it up.
No wonder u need all those upgrades the way you abuse this UDR
shhhhhh its called durability testing.... at least thats what I tell myself
with all the aluminum your UDR has its probably worth 5k or more lol
