Traxxas UDR Saved from the Junk Yard!!

We finally got our hands on a Traxxas UDR. A bucket list RC!! We had to revive it from the junk yard but it’s a blast!! Stay tuned for Part 2!!

As A traxxas independent under ground technician These UDRscome thru my shop for repairs all the time its not a basher i remind my clients place the same front diff in the rear from traxxas it will make your UDR turn better and perform much better hot racing has great after matket parts for this vehicle there going to be collectors soon ifvyou can get your hands on plenty of parts

my udr is pretty much a vitavon udr now 🤣 im just waiting for them to release the cage, they finally made a chassis which is epic!

Nice job , I have one in pieces to but the expensive parts are there like tires electrics and body that was used as a parts truck for another one ,

35 seconds in and I know i will like this.... Traxxas UDR, Makita tools, Ammo cans, K&N banner and a car hoist! Let's rebuild this bad ass! I have one with many goodies too

The jconcepts have a lot of grip on the pavement. They slide really well in the dirt. Thank you for the recommendation

How the hell did you get it so clean? Othe than the body I would've guessed it had never been used.

Lots of cleaning, I use spic and span sometimes and use the air compressor. I also pulled most of it apart and was able to really deep clean it

It has the AGFRC 32KG that I’ve used in many of our RC’s. It’s awesome. I did a video on that Servo as well

Uh...Probably cause it's not a basher? It's a desert racer, literally in the name....
Treating it like a basher is how all that stuff got broken! But not my money so y'all have fun, after all that's what counts in the end...Perhaps after everything that can break gets broken and upgraded it could be a basher...

Totally agree. That’s why I said it isn’t the best basher. I don’t think we’ve broken anything other than stripping out a wheel hex. It’s been solid!!! It’s a drivers car for sure!! I’m glad I was able to pick it up for so cheap in such bad of shape and revive it. It’s one of our favorites!!!
