Your content is always so inspiring nearly every time I finish watching your videos I always have something to think about and smile. This really helps through my tough times when I’m in school or some other predicament. Keep doing what you’re doing man it’s all wonderful.
Ah man, I feel like I'm 5 years old again! This was one of many games I *STILL* have even nearly 30 years later. Mind you, I never did get the game and the SNES in general until 1996 when I was...well, 5 years old, but I still have the old cartridge even to this day.
I’m right there with you, man! I was born in ‘95, so SNES and 64 were the special ones for me. My grandma had the SNES, and every time we stayed at her house, my brothers would help me get through difficult levels of Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country. SOMEHOW I never played Super Mario Kart at all, but playing it now definitely brought back nostalgia regardless! Such a sweet time getting to experience it!
Dude these videos are so good and have such a high quality production. Your views are criminally low for how much work you must be putting into these. I hope you really take off in the future!
Feels good to get back to Mario! It’s tough to balance my desire to publish a variety of content with my desire to honestly just talk about the games I love. Mario Kart is such a special series to me, so it’s been so fun to jump into it!
They most certainly do! 😂 So much fun to be barraged with a ton of items that you don’t even have access to like fireballs and poison mushrooms. And you’re right, it definitely doesn’t feel “fair” in that sense, but this is also not the only Mario Kart game that feels that way. I think the difference in this game is that the types of items themselves are a lot simpler and typically don’t just win the game for you. So it’s not like CPUs are randomly generating Blue Shells and Bullet Bills. They can’t even throw Red Shells, so their items are all basically different types of Bananas. Definitely annoying, but I found that skillful play allowed me to avoid these obstacles, which actually felt pretty rewarding! The CPU-generated items aren’t my favorite, but because the items themselves are so simple, it didn’t feel like it cut too much into the gameplay.
@@GamesAreCreative I guess that is true, the enemy items aren't that great thinking about it, but I played Mario Kart (SNES) for like an hour and never again because the game felt like ice physics.
Haha totally. I honestly love the Mario Circuit courses because the lack of terrain and gimmicks allow them to rely fully on the racing mechanics, which are actually surprisingly solid for the time in my opinion. But man, the more terrain-focused courses can be ROUGH, especially in the Star and Special cups. The kart mechanics (in a vacuum) feel challenging and rewarding to master, but some of these courses feel straight-up broken and unfair.😂

Just started a 13-hour haul to the middle of nowhere. Games Are Creative is like my safety banana: he keeps the red shells of boredom away.

Nice to see you back!
Thanks so much! Been looking forward to jumping back into the channel!
Is it really a skill based race? Isn't this the game where CPUs can just generate items at random as much as they want?
