Ingredients:
FOR CHICKEN:
1 kg chicken
2 tsp salt
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 tbsp ginger paste
3 tbsp garlic paste
2 tbsp lemon juice
10 green chillies paste
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup milk + saffron ( saffron is optional)
4 fried onions ( 1/2 for LAYERING )
coriander leaves
mint leaves
2 tsp caraway seeds
15 green cardamom
2 inch cinnamon stick
1 mace
1/4 nutmeg
1/2 tsp pepper corns
FOR RICE:
1 kg rice
3 tbsp salt
1 tbsp oil
1/2 lemon
4-5 cardamom
2 inch cinnamon stick
5-6 cloves
1 tsp caraway seeds
FOR LAYERING:
prepared garam masala
1/2 cup milk + saffron ( saffron is optional)
1/2 cup oil
mint

green chillies
1/2 cup rice water
food color
